(This is open, but I would prefer someone Angel knows to join. But as she doesn't know very many people, this is open)

Angel Brookes walked through the forest trees, rain falling onto her tear-streaked face. She was alone in the world, no friends, no family, no possessions. This was her life now, and she'd better get used to it. Her hair, usually fluffy and brown, like whipped cream, was hanging in rats-tails around her small face. Smaller than every other first year student, she was always treated like a child. She was not a child, even if she looked one.

Angel didn't understand the mess she had gotten into, her house had been re-possesed, her aunt was in hospital, her parents dead, and her sister had no clue about anything that was happening at home. As usual, Stardust had been able to stay at a friends house for the holidays. Angel was alone in the world, and she hated herself for it.

It was very late, Angel shouldn't be out of her common room at all. The rain bucketed down, and Angel's pale blue tanktop and black gypsy skirt were soaked through. She looked tiny when she was wet, a small, frail little doll.

Tichondrius tilted his head to look down at the girl walking around the forest. His eyes glanced over to his watch. 'Hnh. Not really a time to go wandering in the forest.' He noticed that she was thoroughly soaked through from the rain. Glancing up in thanks for the little poncho he had lashed neatly to his favorite tree, he grabbed his jacket and silently slid down the tree.

Coming up behind the girl might be bad, he thought, in more ways than one. As such, he chose to come out in front of her. Leaning against a tree, he said softly, "It's not exactly a good time to go wandering is it?" Tichondrius really didn't recognize her, but her small size meant she was probably a year one. If she was a year one he hadn't seen, she had to be either a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw. "What with it being late and raining?" Walking towards her, he began to drape his jacket around her wet form.

Raliv was trotting around the forest, closer to the school than usual when he saw two human kids standing around. No one seemed to pay attention to the Forbidden part if the Forbidden Forest. Alot of the centaurs weren't very human-friendly and Ral didn't know whether to go back and get the others or try and talk to them. He drew in a deep breath and began to move speedily towards them. "What are you hoomans doing in the forest?" Ral asked, He wasn't able to say the word human properly yet. He was still only young but still quite strong.

Angel jumped when she heard a voice, she had not been expecting anyone in the forest this late. She turned her head in the direction she had heard the voice from, and raised an eyebrow. "Apparently there are never good times to go into forbidden places, but that has never stopped me before." she said. Rain didn't matter, she had hardly noticed she was wet until the strange boy put his jacket around her.

Her head whipped around, her hair plastered to her face, as she head the unmistakable sound of hoofbeats. Her eyes went wide, as she saw the centaur. She noticed the way he said 'hoomans', instead of humans, and in any other situation she would have found that amusing. She was feeling angry for some reason, she had a right to be upset, as she could lose everyone who mattered to her any second. "Trying to find somewhere to curl up and die." the tiny girl said sarcasticly, wondering if the centaur would understand her sarcasam.

Mist watched a boy and a girl enter the forest, why must they always come in the middle night? If Vicco or one of the other centaurs saw them they were dead. She snorted at the girls sarcasem, it couldnt really be that bad, gosh the 1st years were emotional. She drew her bow and fired an arrow for the childrens feet. Then she noticed Raliv. She walked out beside them. "What are you doing in our forest?" Mist demanded.

Ral frowned slightly at the girls sarcasm. God, Someone's had a bad day. He thought, Taking a step closer. Suddenly Mist came out and fired an arrow near the kids before coming next to him. "Why did you do that Mist?" He whispered, looking up at her. "That wasn't very nice." He quickly added, Not that it would matter to Mist.color]

Angel sighed when another centaur came into view. Oh no, more trouble. she thought. She saw the other centaur had a bow, and was aiming it for her and the other boy. The arrow landed at her feet, missing her by a hair. "What was that for?!?!" she exploded, standing up. The jacket slipped from her shoulders, and she glared at Mist.

(( posting as Mist ))

Mist glared at the girl. "You shouldnt be in OUR forest" Mist snapped back. "I have the right to defend it" Mist added. "im not the most dangerous thing in the forest you know. If Vicco was here that arrow would have been through your head"

Tichondrius shrugged. "Vicco is far from the most dangerous thing in this forest either. There are other, more primal, far more feral things. And other not so feral but still more dangerous than Vicco. I do not relish combat, but I will do so if I have no choice. And it is not your forest. It belongs to every living thing in and out of it. Sentience does not equal superiority." He narrowed his eyes, flicking his gaze towards the first centaur. That centaur was obviously friendly. If younger, judging from his pronounciation of 'human'.

Angel had no clue who, or what Vicco was, but she guessed Vicco was a centaur. She hoped there weren't any spiders in the forest, she hated spiders!

Angel stood, glaring at Mist, her face set in a scowl. Why she wasn't afraid of the centaurs, she had no clue, but she just wasn't right now.

(Ugh, lame post)
