Straight 17 Inch Rigid Ebony Wand with Vampire Blood Core Arianna's wand is straight, smooth and impressively long it is known to be used by those who desire to make a statement. It is rigid and so she takes ample care of it though it may be difficult for her to control at times. Her wand is made from the Ebony wood that is known to choose a wizard or witch who could easily be seen as an outsider, but continues to dare to be themselves. And it has a Vampire Blood for its core that is fairly known to be great in healing spells though her offensive spells are sometimes stronger that she originally intended.
The wand may have chosen Arianna because of many factors. She may not have been one to constantly voice her opinions, she is one who wants to be heard and who wants to be known by others as a true Nightray. Ever since she was a child, she has been treated differently from her cousins because of her weak physicality and frail health, nevertheless, she accepted all of those and continued to be herself, a Nightray who is gentle. A Nightray who is different. Also, in the future, Arianna hopes to become a Healer so she can help those who are of frail health just like her though she has power whenever she is trapped in a corner.

Arianna was most probably sorted into Gryffindor because of her bravery and courageous nature despite her weak body and extremely frail health. She's never been scared to try different things and go out into adventures and neither was she one to back down from challenges. Most of the time, she would help others and put them first before herself and she also believes that a lot could be achieved from determination and hard work.

Arianna is a very sweet and caring girl, especially during the time she and Liam had lost their parents. She had been more worried of her cousin and brothers than herself even if she had been sent to America. She is also one whom is brave and has few tendencies of being shy in circumstances not involving her relatives. Ria can handle almost any situation though her relatives have tendencies to scare her at times because they had been cruel to her in her upbringing because of her frail and sickly body. She loves to go on adventures despite her frail health and she is one to understand almost everyone around her. Before, she used to accept others' accusations towards her and let them blame her as well. Though, after being sent to America in solitude for more than eight years, she gained the capability of being ruthless and cold when she's angry though because of her naturally kind nature, she comes to regret her angry tendencies afterwards. But it rarely happens because of her understanding nature but just like any other human, she also has her breaking point and being like other Nightrays, she also has the capability of being cold though unbeknownst to the rest of the family.

Arianna is a small and petite girl thanks to her frail health and sickly nature. She bears the look of an Asian girl with fair complexion and small, brown eyes. She also has distinct red hair like most of the other Nightrays and it falls down below her shoulders, a few centimeters above her waist in a slightly wavy look.

Arianna loves to dress up like most girls. She loves to wear dresses and skirts and heels, though there are times when she just dresses up plainly and casually. But, she loves to look her best all the time, thus she's not always dressed so simply despite the absence of an occasion.
History:
October 13, 2019 - August 31, 2026 Arianna Denise Nightray is the firstborn daughter of Hayato Richelieu and Elizabeth Nightray. Baby Arianna was born a month and a half early due to placental abruption that forced her mother into labor. Being born prematurely, she was given extra care by the healers as she had trouble breathing and feeding and this worried the couple greatly. However, Arianna survived and even her growth was normal but even as a baby she was often sick, but she always managed to pull through. Even as she grew, her health remained frail and her body weak but she loved to play whether it be indoors or outdoors. And thankfully, she had someone to play with everyday. Her cousin, Liam Nightray. They would play with each other frequently since they were very close in age with only months apart. And sometimes, even Liam's sister, Mikaela, also known as Kyla by Arianna would play with her. And it turned out to be even more fun when Aaren had moved into the main manor that often led to frequent play dates. Though she was quite contented with how she was being raised, her grandparents and other relatives didn't favor her, except for Liam and Kyla's parents whom were close with her own mother and father. She would often be scolded and reprimanded for being too clumsy or for being too weak and frail, nevertheless, Liam had always been there to stand up for her and she was very grateful for that. Almost five years after her birth, on the 1st of September, year 2024, her mother had given birth to her two brothers, Armin and Rivaille and Arianna loved them greatly. She tried not to pay attention to her relatives. After all, her small world revolved around Mommy, Daddy, Armin, Rivaille, Uncle Mikael, Auntie Annika, Mikaela, and Liam. She tried to live her life as normally as she possibly could with her frail health and judgmental relatives but growing up has not been easy for her as a Nightray.
September 1, 2026 Arianna and the whole Nightray family had prepared early for the twins' birthday. The celebration was going to be held at one of the branch houses of the Nightrays, specifically, where Arianna's family lived but it was not too far from the main manor and so most of the relatives were present. Everyone was having the best time while Ria and Liam were watching Armin and Rivaille and playing, Kyla was with Ariadne and their parents were among the crowds having conversations of sorts that they both never understood. The time passed and everybody thought for sure that there would be no hitch of sorts. Until they came.
Assassins. And suddenly all was in chaos and Ria nor Liam could fully comprehend what was happening, and all they did was ran with Armin and Rivaille. Both were barely able to run, but Ria could not leave either of them behind. She lost sight of Liam somewhere and from the very back of her mind, she hoped he was safe. She had not seen Kyla or Ariadne or Aaren anywhere either, so it was a little nerve-wrecking for her and she was losing what was left of her slight calmness to get her brothers out. In the midst of all the running and panicking, the flames arose and she knew not whom were lost within the fire. Then she caught a glint of silver and she had just enough time to connect eyes with her mother just before a fatal blow was struck by a knife. She was screaming "Mummy!" the whole time and beside her mom was the dying figure of her father. She wanted to run towards them, but she had Armin and Riv with her and so against her will and despite the fear set into her heart, she ran towards her parents. As her mom lay dying, the woman gave her a golden ring and said, "You're strong Ria. You're a true Nightray, don't ever forget that. Daddy and Mummy loves you," as her final words. And with that her parents died and she cried and even then three men still continued to wreak havoc within their manor and she saw their faces just before two of their uncles came and took her, Armin and Riv out of there. She saw the grown man and the two young men that killed her family and brought their home down to ashes.
Arianna awoke in St. Mungos after a few hours and she cried and cried as she already knew what had happened. She saw what happened and it was the biggest nightmare she would ever have everytime she would remember it. When she calmed down, she asked to see her brothers and Kyla and Liam as well. She had to be there for them. Liam and Kyla lost their parents too according to their relatives and that meant they, most especially Liam, needed her to be there for them. She had merely taken a peek in Kyla's room since their had been doctors and nurses when she took a look so she headed straight for Liam's room. She arrived in his room only to find him still unconscious and again, she started to cry, though this time she stopped it as much as a six-year-old could manage. She stayed beside him for a while until she decided that she had to check on Armin and Rivaille too. She gave the boy a kiss on the forehead before she left to go to her brothers' room. And she found them there sleeping peacefully. Their relatives wanted her to rest, but she wanted nothing more than to watch over her brothers until she fell asleep. And she did.
September 2, 2026 - December 2034 Arianna woke from her slumber and found herself in a very unfamiliar place. She saw someone whom she had never seen before in the room where she was. It was a very peculiar room. Everything was white. The sheets, the pillows, the bed, the curtains, the floor, the walls and the door. And then the stranger walked up to her and though initially scared, she listened as the man explained that he was her father's relative. Being a child, she instantly believed though her jaw dropped open and her eyes brimmed with tears of disbelief and sadness when the man explained to her with pity where she was. She was in Minnesota, USA. Her Uncle Sebastian had brought her there and gave absolute orders that she was to let her health get better in a muggle hospital. Young Arianna ran, cried, screamed and begged that she be brought back home. But that was of no use. The decision was final. She was staying in America.
Everyday, Arianna would write letters to her brothers, to Kyla and to Liam. She would tell them how she missed them. How she wanted to be with them. How she wanted to go home. She waited for days to get a reply. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, and months turned into years. No letter came. Not even once. And still, she wrote though she resolved to sending one letter every one or two weeks. Two years passed and she was in solitude, saved for the man who was her relative and would teach her so she could keep up with her studies though she wasn't it a formal school. Then the grumpy doctors who would see through her recovery. Once in a while, she would be allowed to get out of the hospital and stay in her relatives' house and that she was absolutely glad for. It was an absolute breather.
Two years passed and Arianna still continued on with her letters, though still, no reply came. Until one October day, just a few days before her birthday. Two boys showed up in her relatives house and she couldn't believe it. It was Armin and Rivaille! They explained to her that they would be allowed to visit her on the same date each month, nothing more, nothing less. But Ria, didn't care. They were there and that was all that mattered. She hugged them and played with them, read books with them, ate chocolate and sweets. She made sure that the day would pass and the three of them were happy together. When sunset came, it was time for her brothers to go and they left with the promise to come back next month, on the same date and Ria just smiled sadly though nodded. It was the decision of the elders and what could an eight-year-old do against them? Thankfully, her brothers did visit on the same date every month, though there were times that they couldn't and she wouldn't see them for two months or half a year. Nevertheless, it was the life she lived. Until the doctors and her relative finally allowed her to travel back to England.

Son of Francesca and twin to Laurent. He was born while Arianna was in America and so she never really met him. And so they both have no idea who each other is though Arianna may have seen him in a photo in the Nightray manor.

Daughter of Mikael and sister to Liam and Mikaela. She doesn't remember Arianna at all, though there is slight recognition, since she was only 2 years old when the older was sent to America though she was greatly fond of Ariadne and she used to play with her before with Liam and Kyla.

Son of Francesca and twin to Gabriel. Born after Arianna was sent of to isolation and so neither knows the other, though Ria does know of his existence thanks to the photos that can be found within the halls of the main Nightray manor.

Family Traditions:
Annual Christmas Celebration The Annual Christmas Celebration of the Nightrays had been a tradition since a long time ago. Every Christmas Eve, the family is to hold a celebration in the main manor of the Pureblood family. This is only the time of year that the manor is open to guest but mostly limited to wizarding folk, particularly other Pureblooded families. Nightray family members have always been required to attend this celebration as it would also serve as a family reunion, though the family does not value such sentimentality, it is merely for the Head of the family and her spouse to see the growth of the children and the potential head of the family. Also, the celebration is merely a way for the Nightrays to showcase there wealth and fame for they are a proud Pureblood family. And though it is said that every member of the family is required, there are some who have not been allowed to attend such event. They are the members of the family that have been disowned and removed from the family tree.
Arianna is one of the family members of the Nightray clan that is not allowed to attend the party because of her existence that had been sworn to secrecy. Though when she came home from America, she had not known this and still attended the celebration, therefore causing a commotion on who she was that led her to be once again verbally abused by her Uncle Sebastian and threatened by her grandmother.
Ring System The Ring System as the Nightrays called it has been developed by Charles Nightray's great-grandfather which had also been one of the Heads of the Nightray clan. This system has been used through generations in order to know which members of the family are worthy enough to be part of the family and those unworthy enough to be a part of it and are therefore removed from the family tree in some cases. In other cases, this is also used to determine who will be the next Head of the family.
A Nightray parent (or the Head) bestows upon her child a golden ring when the child has proven himself/herself worthy of the Nightray name and it is for the child to keep as he/she grows older. Competition had always been something that is constant within the family, and so each member is allowed to challenge any other member whenever they wish. The one challenged is entitled to accept, else it would be considered that he/she forfeits, however, he/she is allowed to choose what kind of competition would occur. The task would be completely up to the challenged, whether it be physical, mental or anything goes. The one who loses would have to give up his/her ring and would only be able to retrieve it if he/she has once again proved his/her worth. Though, for every loss, the ring would have a mark to signify the owner's defeat.
In any case that the Head of the family dies or it is time to choose the next Head, direct heirs (such as children and grandchildren) will be asked to present their rings. The one with the cleanest ring, or with the least defeat, is considered to be the new Head of the Nightray family. Though, should there be an event that two or more people have the potential, they would be asked to do a task assigned by the Head, or his/her spouse in any case that the Head cannot attend. The winner would take over the position of the Head and the unlucky ones would have to prove themselves yet again to the Nightray clans.
And so, it is easy to say, that within the Nightray family, there is no camaraderie involved and instead competition is more acceptable and it is already within their tradition for years. Those who already have their rings are considered as true Nightrays and those who are yet to receive them are usually refrained from speaking of their surnames.
It had always been thought that Arianna never got her ring since her parents had died when she was six, though this was not the case. Before her mother died, she had handed the small girl the ring that would signify that she is a true Nightray though unbeknownst to her grandparents. Arianna never spoke of it because at six years of age, she was too young to understand the meaning of the ring. And though she is yet to know the meaning of said ring (due to her being away for eight years), she treats it with utmost care and instead of wearing it on her finger, she used a small chain to wear it as a necklace as she thinks it is a memento from her parents.
