When Samual Kaster woke up this morning, he was greeted with a bright sun and a warm morning, which was a relief. He walked down to the Great Hall to get some breakfast, completely relieved that there was not another magazine flying around. The first one was a surprise, but the second one was down right nasty, he wasn't sure he people would react to a third one! The second and first had shown some very negative things and caused people to be very angry and suspicious, he hoped nothing about his family would be repeated, sure what was said about Tamalia was true and wasn't really that bad, but what if next time it was something really hurtful? What would happen then? He didn't want to know. After his breakfast, he quickly left after he finished eating, he didn't want to stay in doors too long because the call of the outside world was too great. Samual loved Spring, though it was not his favourite time of year, Autumn held that position. Autumn was the best time of year. Ever. It was just fantastic. Memories of Nephy and him playing in the leaves came into his mind and he smiled, that was a lot of fun, though what the magazine said about the poor part goblin girl was horrible, she was so sweet and kind, he couldn't see how people could say such things about a little girl, she woulld only be in her second year, did people at this school have no heart? Or did they have nothing better to do than to upset others? All Sam could think of was how grateful he was that nothing in that magazine was about him, if it was bad enough, it would probably have brought him to tears, or if would have made him really angry, which ever, both answers didn't sound too good to the young Gryffindor.

Samual continued on his path to the the outside world, pushing open the doors of the school with relative ease and breathing in the fresh air of the outside. The sun beamed down on his body as he walked the grounds, a smile gracing the young mans face as he looked around the place. The flowers over at the Rosebush were in full bloom, the lake was glistening brightly, there were few clouds overhead, which meant no rain. Sam was fine with that, he didn't really like rain that much anyway and it would ruin his plans of hanging around the lawns, they were really nice lawns, but he wasn't sure he would overly love being the caretaker for these lawns, imagine all the work it. He shook his head and walked towards the school gardens. The Hogwarts gardens were very beautiful, every section seemed different, and he felt really happy when around all this... happy stuff. He smirked and wondered his way through the flowers, it was really pretty here. He looked around when he saw something and narrowed his emerald eyes playfully. Was someone trying to sneak up on him? He chuckled, and returned to his previous action, just looking around, pretending that he didn't notice that someone was sneaking up on him, he found it kinda cute.

Although she missed home, Khione's grateful for the garden, lawn, courtyard and for the forest here in Hogwarts. As if she has something she can actually relate to other than magic, being one with nature was her thing. Just as every single day, the little girl would pass by the Great Hall to have some quick snack. There wasn't any option, she'll eat anything anyway. Soon she left the hall, skipping her way out of the castle and outside the lawn. There were a couple of students looking at her, must have been her height or something. Khione decided to visit the Hogwarts Garden, it would be her first time to do so. A big wide grin spread her face, all the trees, the flowers and most especially the green grass. It made her so excited, that she decided to run across the garden, playing along the bushes and climbing up the tree. She look like a maniac by the time she's lying on the grass, both arms stretched and relax. Good thing there were only a few students that were in the garden, the blonde continued to lay their staring at the azure sky. Enjoying the moment, she really need to do this more.

After a couple of minutes, she immediately stood up and ran once more. Both arms up high, ""Weee!" screamed the girl. Hyper and excited as she always was, running and running until she felt her body starts to feel a bit tired. This was a signal for her to rest, the first thing that popped inside her head. Trees, reaching for the branches of the sturdy tree, Khione got up of the tree amazed of the view she could see. It wasn't that high but it was enough for her to jump later on, the Gryffindor could see her fellow schoolmates as some were just staring at her. Though she can barely be seen, once she hid up on the tree. She even saw a nest of birds, though it seems that the owner searched for his or her food. Khione rested her head on the wide branch as her hands were gripping on the branches near it. It would be easy for her to snooze off and so she did, sleeping while her arms are wrapped around the branch of the tree. Nothing changed, even when she's home she'll be asleep up on the tree, inside the deep forest.

Soon enough Khione woke up, and saw the bird returning to it's nest. It looked a bit annoyed, she took that as a sign to leave but before doing so. Khione noticed a boy older than her chuckling, he looked somehow dreamy. So for a while, she just stayed up on the tree looking at him. He seemed nice, might be a Gryffindor she thought to herself. "Hmmm, Surprise Surprise." thinking that it would be a great idea to surprise another student. Hopefully this one will not get mad at him, so at the count of three. "One........Two.........Three!" on the three Khione jumped at the boy, only to find out she had the wrong direction to jump. Leaving her slamming her petite body to the stranger, the moment she opened her duo colored eyes she saw the boy eyes. Green, just like Benjamin Chase's eyes. They looked like jade, precious and captivating. She was still laying flat on the boys chest, "I'm....I'm so sorry! Miscalculated my landing." said Khione a bit worried the boy would shout at her.

Samual knew for some time that he was being watched, but he wasn't scared, he knew that it wasn't someone horrible, or they would not have been hiding, maybe it was a first year? He loved first years, they were always so cute and they didn't know much about the school and it was nice to help them out, especially the Muggle-born first years, the ones that have never been around magic, he found it funny how they didn't know anything about the magic that was all around them, it was interesting to be around people like that because he had always grown up with someone using magic, considering his older brother was forever flaunting his magic around the place, well, not now that he ran away from home. But he had to admit, he had not expected a little girl to fly out at him at, seemingly, a hundred miles an hour, the force of her impact made him fall back onto the ground. But before they both touched the ground, he held the person, just to make sure that they didn't get hurt either. When he opened his eyes, he saw one blue eye and one HAZEL eye staring into his own green eyes. What a cute kid, but she was really light, and that was when he realised, she was very little, with pointy little ears on her head. Was she a part-goblin? Like Nephy? He laughed slightly and picked her up off of him, she was quite light to him, so she was easily picked up. "No, it's okay, anyone could have made the mistake, no problem." He soothed, putting the little girl on the ground and sitting up, his ribs hurt from her flying at him, but he ignored it and smiled at the little blonde that was in front of him, she was so little, it was adorable.

Now it was time for an introducted, he could tell that she was a little worried, so he wanted to make sure that she was not going to worry any more, he smiled again, his dimples appearing on his soft face and he extended his hand in a friendly gesture of greeting. "I'm Samual Kaster, but you can call me Sammy." He said cheerfully, letting the small girl know that there was no harm, no foul, Sammy wasn't the sort of guy to yell at someone, it wasn't in his gentle nature at all.

It took a couple of minutes of Khione to realize that she was still on top of the boy, until she watched him laugh and this took her worries away. Inside she was chuckling to as if she was being carried by a person, as if she's a doll or something. The first years lips widen into a grin as she fixed herself, trying to check her dress and her hair. Once she stood away from the stranger Khione's eyes lit up, the second thing he noticed other than his eyes were his hair. It was so curly, it looked like noodles, if only she could grab his hair and play with it. She has a doll with the same hair, only longer. Shirley Curly, had long orange hair and a bow on attached to her hair. "Again, I'm sorry." replied Khione in her little weird accent hanging. Just as everyone else in Hogwarts, he was taller than her. It made it look so awkward, as she would stare at her while head head tilted upward just to see his face.Soon she noticed the boy rubbing her ribs, was he injured? "Are you hurt?" she asked as she hid her ears with her long blonde hair. Khione wasn't fond of her pointy ears, it just somehow irritates her at times.

The Gryffindor clasped her hands together, he head bowing for a freak like her she was a bit shy to look at the boy once more. It was always hard to gaze at a boy unlike girls, then again she didn't had a problem staring at Benjamin. Maybe because it was during the night time, Khione stood there looking at he shoes. Pointy as ever, she was wearing flats which made her more little. Slowly the blonde looked at him, she could see his dimples in which made her lightly blush. Also seeing the gesture of shaking his hand, Khione reached for it and shake it. "Pleasure to meet you, I'm....I'm" it was obvious that she was still a bit nervous, in which she really didn't know why. "I'm Key-oh-nee HAW-THOR-NE , Khione." said Khione breaking down her name to be easily understand. "Sammy" she whispered as she gazed once more into his green eyes. It made her melt like a popsicle, as she felt his warm hand holding hers. Why didn't Benjamin shake her hand like this? Sammy's different Khione, her mind insist. The part-goblin then took one deep breath, making her cheeks filled with air. Then she exhaled it and flashed a smile to Sammy, he really seem nice and gentle.

Sammy thought Khione was just simply adorable, her multi-coloured eyes, they intrigued him, he knew of the condition, though he wouldn't really call it such a thing since it seemed so cool to have two different coloured eyes, but he hadn't actually met someone with eyes like this, it was really cool. Sammy would have looked to have one of his green eyes and one other different coloured eye, it would be really fun. When Sammy took a good look at her, he realised just how cute she was, she was all little with her big duo-coloured eyes and long blonde hair, even her little pointy ears were adorable to the Gryffindor, so he continued to be very happy around her, he was really happy that she wasn't some horrible person. But he was really happy that she seemed happy, and no longer sad, though she did seem a little nervous, but he wasn't sure what she was nervous of, she couldn't be nervous of him, could she? Surely not, Samual was not special, though he did have nice fluffy hair, that was the only thing he found that people were curious about, some even wondered if he had ever been tempted to straighten it, but he had never wanted to do that, his hair was nice and soft as it was, he didn't want to burn the life out of his lovely curls, he liked them far too much. But he frowned slightly when she apologised again, was she going to continue doing that? "Don't apologise, you were really funny!" He reasurrred, he was determined to make her feel good, and he bit his lip when she asked him about his ribs, they were sore, but that was it, really. "Oh don't worry about my ribs, I have plenty of them, so it doesn't really matter. Does it?" He said, laughing to make her feel better. "You just miss calculated, anyone could have done it. But I must admit, I'm glad you were the person that fell on me, not someone else." He said honestly, it would have been a little different if the girl wasn't a part-goblin, she would have been much bigger, much heavier and would have caused him much more pain, possibly broken a few of his ribs, which would not have been fun at all, and he might not have been so happy and cheerful.

Sammy tilted his head when the girl hid her ears, why would she do that? He frowned. "Why are you hiding your ears?" He asked caringly. "They're really cute, don't hide them, show them off proudly." He encouraged. It would be an understatement that Samual loved non-humans, he didn't mind giants, veelas or goblins, nor did he hate 'half-breeds' he thought they were just the same as him, except some were taller, some were prettier and some were shorter. He realised that she was still a little shy and he began to think of ways to make her unshy, but he couldn't think of anything, she jumped out at him, so why was she so shy? She didn't have to be, not at all, Sammy was delighted to meet her, he smiled brighter as she blushed. So cute. He shook her hand softly, making sure he didn't accidently tear her arm off or anything, that would dampen the mood. She was still nervous, he felt like giving her a hug, she was so cuddly looking. "Hiya Key-oh-nee!" He said, repeating the way she pronounced her name, he registered her accent. It was nothing like his, which still managed to be Australian, but her accent was unknown to him. "Where are you from?" He asked curiously. This was the best part of Hogwarts New Zealand, people from all over came to stay and learn.

Khione is shy, why is she feeling shy right now. It was so unlike her, she faced Benjamin fearless and now here she is standing in front of Sammy being shy. Maybe she's conscious or something, after all Sammy is adorable. He looks so kind and is really friendly, which makes her thinks he's a Gryffindor. Also there was something about him that made Khione smile and blush at the same time. She then gazed at his curly hair, it looked so soft, if only she could play with it. Noodles, yum. For a small girl like her she has a big appetite when it comes to food. Instead of reaching out, Khione controlled herself to not let her hands touch him. Not that she was against the boy or anything, it was just... she was really feeling shy. A wide smile covered Khione's face seeing him smile a lot, when Sammy talked about his ribs. The blonde giggled, he is really funny and cute. "I guess so." said Khione in the middle of her giggle. There was nothing to do but to smile at him, really smile at him continuously. She could see his dimples which make him more adorable, watching him laugh, heavenly. Her wide eyes stared at his face, he really looked so happy and so amazing.

Different things entered her mind, good things. Khione felt alarmed when she heard Sammy asking why she hid her ears away. As she was about to answer the question, something cut her off, his words were shocking. "Abbbbbaababa...... Okay" slowly she shook her head letting her pointy ears appear out of her hair. At first she felt awkward showing her ears, then again she'll be used to it later on. "Better?" asked Khione while beaming a mile toward him. Merlin! He's adorable, she can't help herself from staring at Sammy. The Gryffindor stood there a couple inches away from him, some were looking at their way but she just ignored them. Hey, at least they were the center of attention for a while. Aussie and Cute, everything seems so perfect about him. "Hiya!" exclaimed the kid waving her left hand. Somehow she got herself calm and relax, though she was still blushing. It's a wonderful indeed, most especially to meet a person like Sammy, the part-goblin continued to smile at him ignoring their surroundings.

Samual found it sweet that she was so shy, and she was completely cuddleworthy, she was so little and her hair was so long, and her ears were so pointy. He loved interesting people, and Khione was one interesting girl indeed, he didn't understand why she was embarrassed by her ears, they were really adorable, he wanted pointy ears! But he knew he could never obtain nice pointy ears like that, it just wasn't in his genetics and wasn't going to happen, sadly. Besides, he had his interesting hair, people seemed to like that, so they both had someone interesting and nice, well, Khione had two, but Samual didn't mind, she was fun to be around, lots of fun actually. He wasn;t sure why he was having so much fun, but his cheeks were hurting from smiling and laughing so much, but he couldn't stop smiling, he didn't want to stop smiling, she was just too sweet and cte not to smile around, and she looked so shy and nervous, it just made her cuter to the Gryffindor, as his green eyes beamed at her. She seemed to take a lot of interest in his hair, he realised this because she kept on moving her eyes to it, right now it was smelling of strawberries, like it always did, because that was Sammy's favourite smell, he wasn't sure if he should grab her hand and pull it to his curly brown, and so he decided to do just that, she seemed too shy to touch it by herslef, so he helped her, just so she could feel the soft fluffiness that was his curly hair, maybe then she wouldn't be so nervous? Maybe then she would form a proper sentence for him to hear, he was sure she had interesting things to say, and he really wanted her to say them. He was glad that she stopped apologising, that was good, that meant that (hopefully) she didn't feel sorry anymore, that meant they could carry on with their conversation, not that she was holding it up very well, maybe she wasn't a talker? That was possible. "That's it, you see? I'm just fine!" He said, knocking on his ribs softly to prove his statement, he was glad that she seemed so happy, it was really nice, he was happy that he brightened someones day, it made him feel really good.

Samual laughed slightly as she spoke to him, he couldn't understand anything she said, but it was cute, and he was much happier when she seemed to take his advice. That was better, she looked better now, she looked more confident of who she was, she wasn't trying to hide herself, who she really was. That was really healthy, and it made him smile. "Much, much, much better, you should be proud of your ears, Key-oh-ee, not many people have them." He explained. "They make you unique, never forget that!" He added cheerfully. He flashed a gentle smile at some people afar as they walk by, like he always did. He tried to stay on pleasent terms with everyone he saw, it was just nice to be that nice, but then he returned his attention back to Khione. He laughed as she said 'hiya' to him, she seemed much more chiper now, that was much better. "So Khione, where do you come from?" He repeated, looking around at the multitude of beautiful, blossoming flowers.

There was no doubt Sammy made her smile every time he smiled, there was just a spark in him that made it so effortless. She even found herself mesmerized by his smile, as if she was starting to have her first crush. The first year didn't even knew such thing, as a matter of fact never did she thought of that word, ever. Though she did heard it in some lovey-dovey movie her parents were watching when she was nine. Khione never understood that concept, guess she was just too young. Here she was with a boy, taller than her and well older than her and still all she could so was to stare at him. Khione would smile by and by but her eyes were stuck in his face, not even realizing that her hand is actually touching his hair. How did that happen? Probably Sammy reached for her hand and placed it on his hair, now she could feel his luscious curls into her hands.

It's soft and smooth, a bit just like hair though for a boy his hair seems to soft. As his curled entwine into her fingers, she carelessly played his hair and as soon as she got contented, Khione stopped. It made her more conscious but a bit relax, a mixture of both feelings. "Yesh, you're fine." she repeated just to make sure that she believes him. Nodding her head twice as her hands met, the other missed the other. Sammy sure do loves to laugh as he kept smiling and laughing even at the same time, which she found really amazing. "I know, I'm just not used to showing them to people." murmured Khione. Due to being bullied when she was younger, she grew a habit to just hide her ears to avoid any criticism. Explains the wearing of hat from time to time and hiding her ears with the use of her hair. "I will." she assured him with a less wide smile, it was saw awkward being in front of him.

The fact that Khione is somehow attracted to the boy, she just landed on a couple of minutes. She then watched him flash a smile to everyone else passing by, it's like seeing a mirror of her. Although she waved her hand then smile, mostly it was for some Professors. "Poland. Warsaw, Poland." answered the blonde as she decided to take a sit on the grass. All the standing up and jumping at Sammy made her legs tired, she sat down and looked at Sammy. She placed her hand next to her, a signal for him to sit as well, that is if he want to. It will be a nice day for a two as she predicted that they'll be returning questions at each other, to actually get to know each other. Which is really nice, since Khione needed to gain friends here in Hogwarts New Zealand. "I'm guessing you're from Australia? New Zealand? she asked him, as she bent her knees, sitting into a Indian position.

Sammy laughed slightly as Khione seemed mesmerized, she seemed to be zoning in and out as she patted his hair and ran her thin fingers threw it, he had to admit, his back was starting to hurt, but he didn't complain about it, he encouraged her to touch his hair, so he had no right to complain about their height difference, he should have gotten on his knees or something to save his back. He beamed at Khione as she continued to play with his hair, twirling and twisting it, though not so that it caused discomfort, more in a peaceful way, he was quite asure that she liked his hair, because she played with it for quite a while and looked so happy when doing so, it made him glad that his strawberry scented shampoo was doing its job, keeping his hair soft and fluffy. He was glad when she seemed a little more relaxed, which was good, she seemed really wound up and worried earilier, maybe because she thought he would yell at her for squishing him, but she wasn't that heavy at all, it was almost like Bethany, Lucy, or Hamish jumping on him, though she was a little bigger than them, and way cuter, maybe it's the ears, or her big, duo-coloured eyes, he couldn't be sure, but he didn't really care at the moment, he was too busy shifting his weight onto his other leg, the one that wasn't strained from being leaned on the whole time they spoke. Sammy nodded slowly as Khione spoke about her ears, was she teased for having them? Sam thought they were a-ma-zing, he wanted ears like that, they were so adorable. Sam wasn't sure if he had a part of himself that he hid from people, maybe his angry or sad side, but they were emotions and actions, not physical traits that everyone could see, like pointed ears, then it hid him, he hadn't done this for years, since he attended Hogwarts, actually, but before Hogwarts, he would hide his curls from the muggle kids at his old school, as they used to call him 'Mop', even though his hair resembled nothing like a mop, they dubbed him 'Mop boy' it was really upsetting and annoying, so much so that he started wearing hats and sometimes straightening his hair to avoid having to show his curls, but he didn't have to do that anymore, since the kids at Hogwarts had more problems with Blood status than someones hair. "It's okay, if someone doesn't like them, you shouldn't have to hide them, they just shouldn't look." He said, deciding to part with some knowledge that his oldest sister gave him, it was really helpful and so Lisa, he loved quoting Lisa, she was so smart, strong and kind, she was his idol, she was like a super hero, even if she didn't have magic, she was definately magical to Sammy. "That's great, I'll be expecting to see them again." He added, basically telling Khione that he would like to regularly hang out with her and be her friend, because he liked her, she was funny and nice to talk to, for sure.

Samual nodded with curiousity as she told him where he was from, he'd never been to Poland, ever, he had not really wanted to go there before, and his family wasn't made of money, as Lisa would say: 'The money tree died several years ago, Sammy-dear' he smiled slightly at the memory, he missed Lisa, and Lulu, and Beth, and Hammy, Hayden too, but one of the people he missed most was Jack, wherever he was in the world, hopefully he was okay, maybe he was in Poland? It was certainly a possibility, Tessa hadn't looked there yet, not to Sammy's knowledge, anyway. He began to wonder what Poland was like, was it cold there? Was New Zealand really hot for Khione? Samual didn't really notice it as it was quite similar to the Australian climate, though a little wilder, like the Earthquakes, that never failed to give Sammy the shivers, though he wasn't sure if an earthquake ever happened at the school, maybe it wasn't possible. He nodded as she motioned for him to sit and sat down carefully beside her, stretching out his legs and nodded. The Australian and New Zealand accents were very different, but since he had lived in both for several years, his accent was sort of distorted. "I was born in Australia, and later moved to New Zealand, so... I'm like both." He explained. "So what's it like in Poland? Do you miss your family and stuff?" He asked, he hated being this far from Lisa, but Khione's family, if they were back in Poland, were very far away, surely she missed them dearly.

The boy got a smile that can fill her whole heart, she couldn't help to adore him somehow. As she touched his hair, he could smell something fruity. Perhaps his shampoo? She too loves strawberry and the scent makes her go nuts. It's one of her favorite fruit, including her Aunt's best shampoo ever is strawberry scented. Made with pure strawberries and other natural stuff, though for today Khione didn't used that certain kind of shampoo. Instead she tried her aunt's new formula, Kiwi with Vanilla. It smelled good but she really never understood the smell of kiwi, nor did she understood why her aunt loves eating the skin of the fruit. She once said that it's good for the skin and all, but the texture of the stuff makes her puke. Moving on, she watched the boy smile once more, "Mmmmm, smell like strawberries." she muttered, trying to get a sniff of his hair once more. It looked so fluffy just like marshmallow, while hearing him say something. She faced him, as she she stopped playing with his hair. Since she was quite tall and her being short, it made Sammy's back hurt for sure. Still it didn't showed, "I keep that in mind." Khione answered beaming a smile. She was getting used to him somehow, knowing he's a good person.

Upon hearing him speak once more, Khione blushed a little. It was always nice to meet new people and befriend them, since she never really gained a lot of friends when she was younger. This made her so much happy, knowing that someone accepts her for her and nothing more. The first year wondered what was Sammy thinking, and was he always this bubbly. Since it was the first time for her to meet someone near to her personality, the rest were so serious about their life with a young age. Khione nodded at him, listening to his words. It's lovely there, the weather changes a lot though. she shared, leaving the other details behind. "Oh yes, I do! ..but I'll be visiting them during our vacation. the blonde answered, ending it with a wide smile. Since we are here in New Zealand, I guess you visit your family a lot?" Khione asked him, clasping her hands together at the same time looking up at his cute face. Tilting her head a little to get a greater view, while her feet tip-toed a little every minute.

Khione seemed like a happy sort of person, which was refreshing for the Fourth year, lately everyone seemed so serious, everyone seemed to have something pleaguing their minds and they forget how to live and have fun, it was sad to watch people he had grown up with for some time, (even though he may not have officially met everyone in his year), he still knew their faces and he was going through similar things to them, but he always tried to do things with a bright smile, others seemed to ignore that important piece of advice. Things were so much easier with a smile, a bright, happy smile, even if it was a fake smile, it would help other pople, which was enough for Sammy. He smiled as he heard Khione meantion that his hair smelt of strawberries, which he did on purpose because he loved the smell of strawberries so much, it would make his day ten times better when he semlt of strawberries. "That's probably my shampoo or conditioner you're smelling, Khione." He informed, letting her sniff his hair one last time before she released it and he flicked it out of his eyes, sometimes having curly hair was not a blessing, as his often decided to shield his vision, for whatever reason, but he couldn't bare to cut it, he just couldn't bring himself to do something so drastic when he really didn't need to. And in response to her last sentence, Sammy simply winked his approval.

He nodded, he would hate to have to go so far away from his family just to go to school, his fears were what caused his parents to move from Australia to New Zealand in the first place, which always made him feel a little bit guilty, since he couldn't help but think that that moved played a huge part in their deaths, he let the thoughts roll out of his head and smiled. But he had to admit, the holidays were the best things ever, because he loved hanging around his house with his sisters and little broter, since Jack was never there, he ried his best to not think of him, but when thinking about family, Lisa always pops into his mind, because he loves her so mcuh, she was the best sister any person could have. "I'd hate to live so far away from my family. I get home-sick as it is, if they were in another country... I don't know what I'd do with myself!" He admitted, laughing slightly. "But you're right, it only takes them an hour, sometimes half an hour to reply to my owls, because they live so close, it would be a different story if they lived in Poland, like your family." He explained. Having his family in New Zealand was a huge confidence boast for him, because he knew that family was close at all times.
