Irene stood by the lane that led into Brightstone Village waiting for the sixth year students to arrive so that they could begin their test. Wearing her navy blue maternity robes, Irene finished charming her clipboard so that it would take notes without her having to write them herself. She liked to keep her hands clear while the students took their test just in case a splinching occurred. By now, she hoped that the students would know enough to not have that happen, but she was prepared just in case.

Once all of the students were standing before her, Irene smiled at them, her hand resting on her gigantic belly and hoping none of the students would want to rub her stomach for good luck. She really was rather tired of people doing that. Some looked ready to simply get this test over with, but many of them looked extremely nervous. She could definitely sympathize with them because she had felt the same way when she had completed her exam. She remembered how important the test had been for her and probably for them, since it marked a sort of milestone in a young witch or wizard's career. With an apparition license, they would be free to travel wherever they wanted, whenever they wanted. And considering that they were nearing or were of age, she knew how
important such a freedom was.

"Good morning. I'll just say but a few words before we get started" she said with a smile which quickly crept away as she began to discuss the procedure of the test. "You will have one try to apparate to the location that I disclose to you. The key is to make sure that every part of you arrives at the location. If you get splinched, you fail. If you miss your location, you fail. And obviously, if you can't apparate for some reason, you fail." She took the clipboard into her hand and gave it one last scan as she gave the students a few moments to prepare themselves. "Any questions?" she asked.

Please post arriving for the exam only (It only needs to be a short post though you are of course welcome to post more if you'd like) . I'll post again soon telling you the location where you should apparate to.

Nervous was a bit of an understatement judging by the sick feeling Riley was getting. Butterflies, meet stomach. She thought to herself as she entered Brightstone village and kissed her mother lightly on the cheek, before listening to the motherly way Frances went about trying to assure her daughter that she would do just fine in her exam. Taking a deep breath, the Hufflepuff stepped forward and saw the same ministry worker that had been at all three of the previous lessons waiting for her, and her fellow classmates. Riley moved into the middle of the pack of students and listened carefully, the woman's harsh words on failing only making Riley feel as though she was going to vomit. She knew deep down she had perfected it all after attending each and every class, but there was still a hint of doubt in her mind that she wouldn't make it, and wouldn't be able to apparate. Looking the ministry worker straight in the eye, Riley told herself she was ready. It really was now or never.

If anyone had asked Jessica if she was nervous about her exam, she would've lied and said no, but even she couldn't suppress the butterflies that were threatening to show. The teenage girl was walking to Brightstone Village alone, as usual. Her Hogwarts robe was flowing behind her as she walked. As she arrived at the village, her cold brown eyes took in who was there. The Ministry worker was there of course, and as Jessica smiled politely and gave a small nod of acknowledgement, she took a deep breath to get in control of her emotions and to hide what she was really feeling. There was only one other girl her age there, and Jessica remembered the girl from seeing her around at Hogwarts. She was a Hufflepuff, what was her name? Oh yes, Riley. Riley had her mum there, Jessica could see, and she couldn't help the jealous feeling that entered her stomach as well. Her father was in Azkaban, and her mother didn't want her and her younger sisters Lianna and Kira were with friends. Jessica couldn't help the disappointed feeling that came whenever she thought of her sister Lianna who had been placed into Hufflepuff. Her other sister Kira was continuing the family name by being in Slytherin though. Since Jessica's parents had divorced and her mother had made clear she wanted nothing to do with the children, Jessica was in charge of the others, and with that came a lot of responsibility, but she couldn't focus on that now, instead she had to focus on apparating and passing the first time. She took another deep breath to calm her nerves, and began concentrating on apparating successfully.

After everyone else had arrived, Jessica stood tall and straight, having no outward appearance of her nervousness. She listened to Irene speak, and she smirked when she saw some of the shocked expressions about how harsh the judging of the apparation test was. What did they think it was going to be like? A walk in the park? She frowned slightly, but then quickly composed her face, not willing to show any emotion, after all, ever since she was a little girl and before he had been sent to Azkaban, her father had berated into her that a Slytherin never showed emotion and Jessica always tried not to show any emotion. As she waited, she appeared to be waiting patiently, but she was feeling the complete opposite in reality. Her butterflies were jumping around in her stomach and she was more nervous than she thought she would've been. She wasn't sure if she would be able to apparate and pass the test on her first go, making herself, her younger sisters and her father proud.

Irene looked up from her clipboard, releasing it so it could hover beside her once again. Clapping once, she began to speak. "Alright. Let's begin." There was no sense in delaying any longer. The students were as ready as they would ever be and in the next few moments they would either be apparating successfully to their destinations or they wouldn't. She gave them her best reassuring smile and then continued, "One by one step forward and I will tell you where your target spot is, and then you go when you're ready."

She gestured to the first person to step forward. When the student was standing beside her, she spoke in a low voice. "You'll be heading to..."

Riley Alexandra- Takoroko Park
Jessica Williamson- The Three Broomsticks PASS
After telling the student, Irene apparated away leaving the sixth year to do whatever to prepare. This was the hardest part for her because now she had to transport two people when she apparated. Still, she arrived safely. She had the feeling that if she simply stood and waited, it would only make the students more nervous or distract them in some way.

Jessica was startled out of her thoughts when she heard Irene clap her hands once and speak to them. Her words that followed that were hardly reassuring, and it was hard for Jessica to keep her face expressionless, with a cold smirk on her face. The butterflies were flipping in her stomach and she struggled to show no emotion especially when she stepped forward and heard where she was going to be apparating, the Three Broomsticks. She nodded in acknowledgement and stepped back for the next person to be told where they were going to be apparating.

When it was Jessica's turn to apparate she focused on her destination, The Three Broomsticks and she certainly was determined. Now the hard part was deliberation. She took a deep breath, focusing, she only had one shot at this and she couldn't afford to fail. She also didn't need to rush this she told herself. She nodded to herself and with deliberation she turned and felt herself being squeezed into an airtight tube and when she found herself somewhere else she glanced up nervously and a huge grin appeared on her face. There was a large sign reading 'The Three Broomsticks' above her head. She did it. She wanted to do a little dance to congratulate herself, but then she reminded herself who she was and she quickly composed her face again. Her butterflies were gone from her stomach, and she knew that she could apparate now with ease. The lessons had paid off and she had succeeded in apparating. 'Finally!' She thought to herself, all this stress had paid off and now she could relax.
