Scott was regretting his decision to have a third helping at dinner as he walked out of the castle. His telescope seemed heavier with a bloated stomach. Pausing for a moment to look at his watch, he continued out across the lawn. It was 8 pm and he had hoped to meet Rose out to see the stars. Scott was content on watching them from the lawn instead of the tower, he hadn't climbed the stairs much since had been back. Over the break, he didn't do anything that challenged his fear of heights so it felt like he was starting over.

Setting down his telescope case, Scott carefully opened it and began to set up it on the lawn. He wanted to adjust it correctly in the sky so he could get a good glimpse at Scorpius. Quickly spotting the star Antares at the head of the constellation, he glanced around to see if his friend was coming. It was already dark outside, so it was hard to see very far around him.

Rose was actually really looking forward to seeing Scott tonight. She always enjoyed spending time with him. She did wonder sometimes if he only hung out with her for Lily's sake, but even if he did she didn't mind. She enjoyed his company. Even if he was a scaredy-cat sometimes. She made her way down to the lawn, hood pulled up. She had always thought this was a tower thing, but Scott didn't seem to like heights. She came up behind him. Taking full advantage of being taller, she leaned over and set her chin on his shoulder. "Hey," She greeted with a grin.

Startled by Rose's greeting, Scott quickly began to laugh it off. "Hey Rose," He rolled his eyes and smiled as he looked down at her on his shoulder. Leaning forward, he took a peek into the telescope. "I have everything adjusted if you want to take a look." Scott motioned for her to look as he stepped to the side. He was rather excited to look at the stars and he loved to share what he saw with others. When Rose agreed to come, he couldn't wait and was worried she was only joking.

Rose stepped forward, looking through the telescope. Her breath caught a bit in her throat, the skies were always so pretty. "We're looking at... Libra, right?" She asked, trying to connect the dots in her head. She stepped back, running a hand through her hair. "Oh, I almost forgot, Lily sent along some muffins." She reached into her bag and offered him the chocolate one.
