I'm not leaving. Don't think for a minute that I'm leaving. But I do have a full couple of weeks ahead. Well, the month, too. I'm doing a gig, tomorrow, and I likely won't be on all day (if I am, it'll be the evening). I'm nervous about that, and I do get stage fright *facepalm*. I haven't been on stage in quite some time, and I've not done it as a drummer, before. I also have a sketch I'm doing with the lovely Claire (as opposed to the un-lovely one?), and I've been a little bit AWOL learning my lines and rehearsing all of that. Anywho, that's all tomorrow.
Now onto other such things: I have friends in town on friday, and I'm supposed to spend the day with them (unless I see them thursday after the gig, in which case, I might have a bit to drink, which will mean taking the morning off HNZ). My boyfriend is also due back from uni at some point this week, and I might end up in the pub with him and a couple of mates, so that's several evenings gone. My other friends at uni will return from the 14th onwards.
I am conducting an interview (as part of what I do) for a new play/arts therapist for the children's mental health care group I work for, on the 16th (I think? ) and that's an all day thing.
I possibly have another (all day) meeting in the middle of this month, though I am awaiting further details.
My brother returns home on the 20th (fingers crossed) if the snow doesn't cause the trouble it did last year. This means he may actually want to spend time catching up with me/we're going to steal each others books and read them.
My grandmother is going in to hospital on the 21st to get her other eye operated on so she can hopefully see properly, again. We're going to be up that end for Christmas, anyway, and it just means that I may not be online much over the Christmas period, as we're all planning on looking after her and working together to make Christmas dinner (oh dear god no.. I can see where this is going, already..).
With all my old mates heading 'home' for the winter, we're planning on spending new year together, and crashing up at one of their places for the night, maybe /awesomeface.
And finally; my internet connection keeps going on the blink. (It's already conked out for three days at the end of November, and it drops when the weather starts to head for snow). This means that I may just vanish midway through the day without any explanation. If this is the case, then I would like to wish you all a merry Christmas, and a happy new year, and I will see you when I see you.
