Friday. Fridays for Sabrina meant visiting St. Mungo's. She wasn't paid for it, in fact, more often than not doing so cost her money. But she did it anyway. She did the same at a nearby muggle hospital, too, but at St. Mungo's she could be herself, without having to hide her witchcraft.

Well, she visited St. Mungo's for two reasons. She saw her psychiatrist once a month, always on a Friday. The visits weren't cheap and she'd often have to resort to instant ramen for that entire week just to afford it. At the very least, she'd learnt how to make anti-depressant potion herself so she didn't have to shell out for supplies of that, too. It was cheaper to purchase the ingredients and make it herself, now that she was completely confident in making it. Anyway, this just so happened to be one of those Fridays.

But one Friday, she'd popped in to St. Mungo's and seen a young girl looking sad and alone. Sabrina, not being the type to ignore such a thing, had taken it upon herself to cheer the girl up. And so every Friday, she'd made rounds of the children's ward of the hospital (after clearing it with the healers, of course), bringing small gifts like Honeydukes chocolate to the children and simply sitting and talking with them. It was painful, of course it was. Her Seer's gift meant that occaisionally she'd see awful, awful things in the futures of the children. And it was hard not to break down and cry then and there. She kept doing it anyway. Sabrina felt that if she was put on this earth for a reason, it was to make others happy.

Although her heart ached and she felt as though she was the saddest, loneliest woman on the earth, Sabrina made it her duty to bring happiness to young children in need.

So this Friday afternoon, Sabrina found herself quietly sitting by the harbour, looking out towards the sea with an icecream in her hand (a rare splurge), sadness evident in her eyes. Sometimes, she wondered if she ought to try making herself happy, too. But really, what was the point?
