BRIEF HISTORY Andros grew up in the United Kingdom
and attended Hogwarts (Scotland) as a Hufflepuff. He
excelled in many subjects, and befriended mostly Ravenclaws
and Hufflepuffs. He was not the most popular of his year,
though neither was he the least popular, and Andros sailed
through his school years with this mediocre social bearing.
When his mother died, he finally moved to New Zealand. Andros
would have been alone in the world, having never known his
father, or been aware of any siblings, had it not been for his
aunt, Larissa Segdwick Senior. He would often be welcomed
by his aunt into the Sedgwick household, and was treated like
a second son. He got on well enough with Davmorn Sedgwick,
though he found himself to often be at loggerheads with the
young Larissa Sedgwick, and as time went on, he became aware
of her reaction to losing her father, by burying her head in the
world of dark magic. Andros tried on numerous occasions to
change her ways, but to no avail.
His first occupation, once he had left for New Zealand to get a
fresh start at life, was as a children's muggle magician. At the
time, Andros lived in a very heavily-inhabited muggle area, and
to keep up appearances until he got himself sorted out, he took
up a muggle job. With his profound knowledge of muggles, he
could perform all the basic muggle magic tricks without so much
as feeling the urge to use real magic. After a few years, he got
a job at the Ministry as a Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Representative.
He stuck at this job for a couple of years, until he decided to try
and become an Auror. It was once he had successfully gained this
position, that he met his wife, Kira, and began to bond closely to her.
On December 31[sup]st[/sup], 2024, the pair were married, and in
late 2025, were blessed with a daughter (Angeline Nashira Carter).
Life was running smoothly, and Andros had been running for Minister
of Magic. He did not make the post, however, but was pleased to
get the chance to spend more time with his daughter, nonetheless.
Sadly, in June of 2028, the same day that Andros had learned his
wife was pregnant for the second time, she was attacked, and lost
the baby. Andros began to sink into a depression, growing more and
more distant. He would skulk off in the middle of the night and not
return until early the next morning. One year on, and the behaviour
had eased off, somewhat, and Andros had grown more controlled of
himself. He no longer walked out in the middle of the night, and he
started spending a lot more time with Angeline, finding comfort in her
natural positivity. He continued to go to work, and his performance
began to improve again, at last. However, he still grows distant, now
and then, and avoids discussing pregnancies at all cost. He can, on
occasion, be found sitting in his bedroom with tears streaking his face.
