FULL NAME:
Amity Jane Renner

MEANING:
Amity - From the English word meaning "friendship", ultimately deriving from Latin amicitia. Amity as a girl's name is pronounced AM-ih-tee.
Jane - In English the meaning of the name Jane is: Jehovah has been gracious. A Feminine form of John.. From the Old French Jehane.
Renner - Renner may be of Anglo-Saxon origin, and an occupational name for a messenger or courier, normally a mounted and armed military servant. The derivation is from the Olde English pre 7th Century "renn(an)", Middle High German "rennen", to run, with the addition of the agent suffix "-er". In its original sense "a man who has to do with", the "-er" designates persons according to their profession or occupation.

WHY:
Despite having spent sixth months in the orphanage in China, Amity was lined up to be adopted almost as soon as she was born, however neither of her biological parents gave her a name of any kind, so she had to wait until the Australian family that ended up adopting her to get a name, however, even in those first months, most people noticed that Amity unlike many other babies was much more friendly, she didn't cry a lot, and despite circumstances was an incredibly happy baby, which was why her adoptive parents settled on calling her Amity, because it meant friendship, and friendship is one of the defining traits that Amity showed when she was first adopted
Jane on the other hand, is her middle name, and it comes from the name of the woman who first looked after her when she was born. She was a kind woman, whom has always been given little details about how Amity was doing. Since leaving school, Amity has reopened contact directly with Jane, since despite having no memories of her, she has always been thankful to her and wishes to see if she can use Jane to find her birth parents.
The last name is the name given to her by her family. Renner, she's incredibly attached to that name. As much as she would like to know what name she would've had had her biological parents been able to keep her, Amity has come to really love and appreciate the name Renner. To her it means a good life, a better life that being alone. She doesn't think even marriage would encourage her to change her surname, even meeting her biological parents wouldn't make her change it. Renner means more to her than anything else, any part of her name. She loves her name. She loves hearing the story behind each part of it, she loves being a Renner, being Amity. Which is why she really loves her name, and wouldn't honestly exchange it for any other name.

NICKNAMES:
Amity's name is incredibly short anyway, and she therefore believes that it means that she doesn't need a nickname. That for her any shortening of her name is unnecessary. However she is not against other people giving her a nickname, she would never address herself as that. She really hates when people shorten her name to Ami, she just thinks that's the worse version of her nickname. She prefers when people call her A, of any nickname that she can possibly be given A is her favourite and really the only one she can tolerate. She can handle people calling her Jane as a nickname, but she finds it odd that people would call her that, when her name is perfectly fine. Only those closest to her know her middle name, so only a few of those would really opted to call her that. In all honesty, for Amity nicknames are not a thing that she enjoys, nor that play a very large role in her life.

AGE:
Amity is currently 20 years old. She has always loved birthdays, whether it was her own, or others. Since she is adopted she knows that it can be a little difficult at times to really be able to celebrate well. But she loves doing all the little things that it involves, she doesn't like surprise parties, but she likes organising her and other people's birthdays. It's a lot of work, but she really loves seeing people's faces when they see their parties. She likes seeing them smile after every little gift. She loves birthdays, no matter whose they are, or what birthday it is.

D.O.B.:
10th July 2018, it was the day that was written on her birth certificate, but the orphanage was the one that wrote it, so it might be incorrect. However, Amity has been celebrating this day as her birthday since she was adopted by her adoptive family. It is unclear as to where she was born, or at what time, but she doesn't really mind not knowing. She loves her adoptive parents, and appreciates all that they've done for her.

PROFESSION:
Despite having graduated over two years before, Amity has not had any further direction in her life. She's not sure what she wants to do and so has been taking odd muggle jobs while looking around for something more substantial and also while looking for her biological parents.

ADOPTIVE PARENTS:
Lilli Renner and Brandt Renner. They are both Australian born wizards that attended Hogwarts Scotland. They both have a mix of Australian, European and Canadian heritage. Lilli Renner is a mixed blood witch, and she attended Hogwarts Scotland, Gryffindor. After school she met Brandt and they fell quickly in love however, after finding out that they could not have kids then they decided that they would adopt rather than go throw the long and often lengthy process of using a surrogate or anything like that. Brandt Renner is a half-blood wizard, who also attended, Hogwarts Scotland, Ravenclaw. The pair now both work in the Australian ministry of magic. Which both are very happy about. They love all of their children and are very happy to try give them the best and most open minded home that they can.

BIOLOGICAL PARENTS:
Amity has never known her biological parents, she doesn't know anything about them. All she knows is that they gave her up as a baby and have never tried to contact her since. She doesn't entirely wish to know them, most as she fears that they'll reject her, or let her know about why they gave her up. She fears that she'll find out they have other families and simply forgot about who she was, or that she'd even happened. However, Amity has always wanted to at least know who they are and has since leaving school begun finding them. All she knows so far is that she was born in China and that both of her parents are Chinese. She doesn't know their names, or where they live, but believes that this is a start.
What Amity doesn't know is that of her parents, only one of them is currently alive. Her mother had been a very proud and gentle woman, but she much like her daughter had fallen too quickly in love. She and Amity's biological father had a little bit of an age difference, and Amity's mother had been incredibly young when they met, and they started dating when her mother was straight out of school. Amity came along a couple of years down the line, it had been a massive accident between the pair, who had never really told anyone about the relationship. They had however, since hearing about it planned to marry and to raise their child as their own, however, about a few months into the pregnancy Amity's mother had found out that the baby would be a girl, she was overjoyed at this fact, where as her soon-to-be husband had not been pleased at all. He came from a long line of male first borns, and being the eldest of his family didn't want to have his name associated with a first born being a girl. He tried to bully her mother into getting an abortion, so that they wouldn't have to deal with it, but Amity's mother didn't think that she could do such a thing. She had been raised in a catholic home which had taught against such things, so instead she managed to convince him that they would give up the child. Amity was born about a month in advance, and spent a long month in hospital alone as her parents left soon after, where she was then passed on to the orphanage. About a year in to Amity's adoption, Amity's mother began to really regret being pushed into the decision she had made. She had just discovered she was pregnant again, and wanted to try to contact the orphanage to see if she could get her daughter back, but of course Amity was gone. This caused immense stress to Amity's mother, which lead to her miscarrying the baby. Amity's father at this point decided that enough was enough decided that he wasn't having any more of it, and left her mother in the middle of the night. He moved to England, moved to London. This was sort of the last straw for Amity's mother who dwindled into a deep depression, and this coupled with the fact that she didn't really have any work meant that after a pretty bad case of pneumonia Amity's mother died. she had essentially given up, and her body did too. Amity's father on the other hand, moved to London, England where he set himself up in the city and completely forgot about his former wife, and very quickly forgot about the daughter he'd given up. he is the only one of the pair still alive. He's a very harsh and strict man, who has never really known anything else. He's a very smart man, and works hard. He is however unkind and believes in earning everything. He hasn't remarried since but has had a lot of partners, all of them female. He has managed to avoid having any more children to his knowledge, and has decided that he would rather never have children again, because of all the trouble they caused him when he tried the first time around. Both of Amity's biological parents are of magical blood. Her mother was pureblood, and her father was a mixed blood. Both of them attended a magical school in China.

SIBLING(S):
Amity has two siblings, they are non-biological, but that honestly means nothing to her. She loves her older sister and younger brother as if they were blood related to her. She thinks that they are the most incredible people. The elder of the two is Anah Renner, Anah was adopted from an orphanage in Brighton, England and is currently a journalist for the Daily Prophet. She is the eldest of the family and was adopted when she was two. Amity is very close to her sister, she loves talking to her about boys and relationships, which she also does a lot with her brother. The youngest of the family is Archie Renner, Amity's younger brother, he was adopted when he was 7, and Amity was about 14 years old. She took an entire month out of her schooling so that she could help her family in welcoming Archie in to the family. Amity loves her brother, she feels incredibly close to him, and is very proud of him getting into Hogwarts New Zealand and into Gryffindor. Amity and her siblings are all incredibly close, and honestly, for Amity she wouldn't have it any other way.
Of course, Amity in the back of her mind is sure that she might have other siblings because she doesn't know who her parents are, or what they are currently doing. For her, it doesn't matter if she does or doesn't, she loves the family that she currently has and wouldn't exchanging it for anything.

PET(S):
While they have never really had pets at home, Amity had always wanted an owl, so when she finally went to Hogwarts she managed to persuade her parents to let her get an owl. It stayed mostly at school, and spent very little time in the house. Her owl has sandy coloured feathers and Amity called it Sunny. She feels really close to it, and has always been really happy to have it. They don't really own many muggle items, so they can't really talk any other way than through Owls. Even if her parents don't really use them.

BLOOD STATUS:
Unknown

THOUGHTS ON BLOOD STATUS:
Amity has always just been incredibly happy that she was even magic that she decided that no matter what she would try her hardest in the school. Try her hardest at magic. She's never understood why anyone would hate anyone else for how pure their blood is. She comes from a family with magical people with unknown heritage and it works for them. No one feels better than each other. Amity had always been very happy with the way her parents taught her to be accepting and open to others. She wouldn't want it any other way really. She has never understood people like that at all. She knows that her upbringing, being adopted and having other adopted siblings means she is quite possibly more open minded than most, but she honestly thinks of it as a no matter. She is proud of her magic, and everyones magic, no matter how pure their blood is.

HOMETOWN:
Since Amity was adopted as a child, she has never really known anything other than Sydney, Australia, but she does know that she was born in Beijing, China. She has no memories of the place, but did spend a good couple of months there when she was first born.

CURRENT RESIDENCE:
Sydney, Australia

THE PLACE TO LIVE:
As much as Amity is an incredibly studious person, one of her favourite places to be is outside. It doesn't matter where, she just really enjoys the outdoors. She likes the feel of fresh grass on her feet. She loves fresh air, and anywhere that she can get it is the good place for her. She doesn't understand people who are not like that. People who spend all of their time indoors. She knows that sometimes she needs to focus and that means that she can't be outside studying, but rather she needs to be indoors to focus.

PREVIOUS HOMES:
FIRST HOME: This is really the only home that Amity has ever known. She has never stayed anywhere else, and while she had always truly loved Hogwarts, it had never been a home to her. She loves her home. It's on the cliff face, there are stairs from the back of the house which lead down to the beach below them, it's not a private beach, but it's a private way down to the beach. Amity has always really loved the place. She has always seen it as a perfect little place. She knows that one of these days she'll have to leave it, but she's not quite ready for that.

SEXUAL ORIENTATION:
Amity is a little bit questionable when it comes to orientation, she has a lot of love to give others, but she has never really been able to place herself on any of the scales of things. She has never seen herself as liking any particular sex. She loves men, and boys, but she also loves girls and woman. She has never thought about loving just one type of person. She has always been very welcoming and open. She is the sort of person who loves quickly but is incredibly loyal.

CURRENT RELATIONSHIP STATUS:
Amity is currently single. She has been in a few relationships, but since leaving school hasn't really settled into anything. She is taking some time out and doesn't believe really in tying herself down to any one person. Not while she is still young and hasn't found anyone she wants to settle down with.

CRUSHES PAST AND PRESENT:
Amity because of how freely she loves has had many crushes over the years. She was always very guarded about how freely she crushes on people, pursuing those that she thinks she might actually have a chance with. Currently, she doesn't have a crush on anyone, and doesn't intend to actually crush on anyone longer than a couple of days.

FIRST KISS:
Amity's first kiss took place at Hogwarts Scotland. She had been studying pretty late with a girl in her house, and had leaned in to kiss her. The kiss was ill-received by the other girl who was slightly closed minded, but it was when Amity was only 13, and she never denied it happening, but always defended herself quite well about it, and has remained good friends with the girl despite it. Since leaving school, they haven't spoken, but Amity has never regretted the decision that she made.

FIRST FRENCH KISS:
It was about a year after she had kissed the other girl, that she had her first really kiss. She had been dating this guy from Slytherin House for a good months, and it had been a little over a month that they had started when she had decided she wanted to kiss him properly. It wasn't a very particularly spectacular moment, but really it felt important to her. It had just been after breakfast, and they'd been the only two left, late for classes, and Amity leaned in for the kiss and it became something else entirely. She thought it was a pretty poor kiss when she compares it with others she's had since, but it was still important to her.

PAST RELATIONSHIPS:
Amity has been in a number of relationships as she's pretty open and sometimes pretty quick about it. Her first relationship was with the boy who she also shared her first real kiss with. The relationship didn't last long, but she was incredibly happy with it. The next one, was when she was 16 years old, she had been single for a little while, she'd been on a few dates, but she hadn't found anyone that she wanted to settle with. She was in a relationship with this girl for four months before they ended up breaking up. Just because they spent the summer apart and things feel apart. She didn't really mind about it. The next relationship she was in was with another girl from her house. They shared a good 6 months together before the other girl cheated on her, which Amity didn't find very good. And she went between a number of people, before settling on her last relationship before the end of school. Her last relationship was mostly friends with benefits, they had been friends throughout school. But she had decided that she just wanted to be something more than friends, and he was more than willing to do it with her.

FLINGS:
Amity has not had that many flings with different people. She had a long term fling with a guy during her last year of school, and then after school, during the holidays she spent a lot of time having a fling with a muggle girl from the local town closest to Sydney by the beach. She really enjoyed it, but decided to end it, after she began to notice that the girl was picking up on the magic thing.

THE FIRST TIME:
Amity's first happened just before she started back at school. One of her closest friend from school was staying with her, and they were left one night alone and they decided to just go ahead and do it. It wasn't an overly complex conversation, it just sort of happened, and then afterwards Amity felt a little empty, but she wouldn't ever admit to anyone. She liked it the first time, it was good, it just held nothing special to her, and she had sort of wanted it, and it had really been because her last relationship had ended so terribly, that she'd just sort of jumped at the chance to be able to be with someone. It's why she has been a little more careless recently, and honestly doesn't want to be in a long term relationship any time soon.

BIOGRAPHY:
For Amity her life started pretty terribly. She was an incredibly happy and kind baby, but she was born in a hospital a month early due to the stress of the mother, and she was left in this hospital alone for the first month of her life. She was well looked after by the nurses, and in the latter days of her stay, the woman from the orphanage, Jane, had started spending more time with her. It was during the this that the Renner parents had been attempting to adopted Amity. Though it was hard because of a lot of red tape, and just general difficulties. During which time, Amity spent at the orphanage. They often got young babies at the orphanage, but Amity was one of the youngest. When she was finally adopted, she had to be flown to Australia by the woman, Jane. She spent a week with the family, helping them get adjusted with Amity before going back to China. This is where, Amity's life got a lot easier. She was easily loved by her parents and brought up in an incredibly loving and open home. She was brought up by parents who were incredibly open, and also magical. Since they had always known that Amity was magical, just didn't know where it actually came from. Amity didn't actually go to muggle school, but she didn't need to go. Instead Amity spent a lot of time reading books, and spending time with her sister. She was incredibly happy with her home, and couldn't have ever believed about the luck she'd had with the adoption. Amity spent a lot of time with the local kids, but got incredibly confused when she turned six and she began to show signs of magic. She'd always grown up with it, but she'd been confused when the other kids that she spent time with didn't show the same signs of magic. It was after a long conversation with her parents that they taught her more about what magic was and what it meant compared with others.

This then travelled on to when she needed to pick a school to go to. Her parents were incredibly open to the idea of Amity moving anywhere, for school. They left the decision to her, and it was from this that she decided that she would go to Hogwarts in Scotland. it was only when Archie joined the family that she somewhat regret the decision to go so far. She loved her time at Hogwarts, she had honestly thought that going to school wouldn't be that great because she wouldn't be able to learn like she liked how to learn. it would be things that the school decided, but she was pleasantly surprised. She worked very hard in school, and was incredibly happy with it. She took to quidditch easily. When she was around fourteen years old, the family grew a little bigger, with the addition of Archie into the family who had been seven at the time. Amity who has always been very big on family came back to help him adjust to the family. She helped teach him how to fly, and was incredibly happy to do so. After leaving school, she decided that she would spend a little time outside of the world of education and work. She wants to find out what happened to her biological parents, she has yet to tell her family, and while she doesn't all together tell them, she knows that they will be very welcoming of her when she wants to do that. They have always been very open to what ever plans that Amity might have about things, and while Amity believes they might be a little upset at the fact that she is looking for them. She loves her adoptive family, but her curiosity about her parents is strong, she really just wants to know what that happened to them.

Imagining that future keeps you going ,
You just use the future to escape the present ,
------------------------------------------------------------

HAIR COLOUR:
Amity has always had very dark brown hair, which can at time appear at times black in colour. She has always had pretty thick hair which sit pretty naturally in a side parting. Amity has never really worked that hard on her appearance, she brushes her hair and the leaves it. Every so often she might do something with it, but it's unlikely. Her hair generally she lets it grow to around the middle of her back, and while she does get it cut every so often, it is never shorter than below her shoulder length. Mostly as Amity doesn't believe that it suits her. She really loves her hair, but she doesn't really do much with it. She doesn't care much for changing her hair that often, which is why she has never had it dyed, nor does she intend to dye it. As much as she hasn't been against dying the tips of it, she doesn't want to do anything else with it, since she likes it so much the way it is.

EYE COLOUR:
Amity's eyes are an incredibly dark brown colour. They have always been that colour and it took her a good number of years to like her eyes. A lot of people that she knew had much more colourful eyes than hers and it was only when she told her older sister about it that she really helped Amity get over her slight hatred of them and really grow to love them. Which she had never thought possible when she was young. Now, her eyes are one of her favourite features. She thinks they are as much a part of her as the shape of her nose, or the way each strand of hair grows. She has thin eyebrows and which she spend a lot of time keeping up. Her eyes are one of the few places that Amity is likely to wear make up often, just enough to add to the, and nothing more. Amity knows that it's vain to love herself in the way that she does, but Amity doesn't care. She believes that everyone is beautiful in their own way. It was what her sister showed her.

BIRTHMARKS:
Amity doesn't have any birthmarks. She has never seen any on her body, nor does she really believe she has any. It is one of the things she thinks is pretty amazing, because she has lightly tanned skin from both her Chinese heritage and the fact that she spends a lot of time in the sun while at home. She doesn't get to spend that much time in the sun while she'd been at school, but Amity has decided she'd rather live in a warm place than a cold place.

BODY TYPE:
Amity has a small and thin body type. She has the small body type which makes it easy for her to be a good flyer. She's not that tall, standing at just 5ft 5, she's not that tall. She quite likes her height and her weight. She has always been quite small but has always been of average weight for someone of her height. She is one of the smallest of her family and this has been a little annoying for her, but she quite likes it as long as no one else in the family puts things too high up for her to reach, though she does use her magic when she needs to.

BLOOD TYPE:
B(-ve)
Amity has never really had to know her blood type, because she has never had to find it out or anything like that. However, because she was in an orphanage and then was adopted, it was required that her adoptive parents knew her blood type just so that they would know it, if something did happen to her. She was then told her blood type by her parents, just so that she would just know in case something happened. Since according to her parents her blood can be quite rare.

WHICH HAND?:
Right Handed.
Amity has always been right handed. She has never opted to write with her left hand. She has never been inclined to. From the very moment she decided she wanted to write, it was always with her right hand. At this point, being much older, she has never been able to write with the other, and she has realised that she really just can not do that. She struggles to even hold the pen in her hand. Despite being pretty good at learning, and writing, writing with her left hand as always been a bit beyond her. It has been one of those things that she really has never been able to do.

VOICE:
Having been raised in Australia, Amity has a pretty strong Australian accent. It's one of the things that she realised in magical school in Scotland. Where she had an incredibly different accent from all the other people that were at the school. She loves her accent, and she loves the accents of Australian's she just thinks that they are pretty incredible. She thinks that hers sounds really happy and that is what other people hear. She likes how friendly it makes her sound. She does sound incredibly friendly when she speaks, and it's one of the best things she thinks about sounding Australian.

I CAN SPEAK:
Despite having spent a lot of time with people from different places while at Hogwarts Scotland, all that Amity can speak is english. She can speak bits and pieces of Chinese, but it's not very good, and she has tried to learn it several times, but it has proved incredibly tricky for Amity. She likes English and while she thinks that if she had enough time she would not have too much trouble picking up more Chinese, she is quite content with only being able to speak English. It's an incredibly practical language to her, and she would prefer that over any other language really. As her first language at least, she does admit that perhaps being able to speak two languages would be pretty cool.

I AM ALLERGIC TO:
Amity is only slightly allergic to apples, it's the only fruit, and well anything that she's allergic to. She admits that it's a slightly odd thing to be allergic too, but she doesn't really think about it because it's just something that she's always had, and having only tasted apples properly once she isn't so fussed with being allergic to it. It has never at all bothered her really. She has tasted apple flavour things before but she hasn't eaten anything that was apple in a long while. The only thing she sort of wishes she could taste would be apple pie. Since it has always smelled really tasty to her, and it's the only thing that she doesn't eat.

PERSONAL STYLE:
Amity is quite casual in the clothes that she wears. She does love going shopping, and getting new clothes and all that, she finds that practical things are as good as fancy things. She doesn't really buy high end clothes, since she doesn't have much use for such fancy clothing. She loves skirts almost as much as she loves jeans. She loves shorts most of all, and she likes matching that. She's not that up to date with her clothes, but somehow manages to find clothes that are stylish enough and that suit her perfectly. Amity is the kind of girl who is not opposed with wearing large dresses and heels. She loves the opportunities where she can get dressed up, especially since she doesn't get to do that too often. Overall, Amity has a very laid back manner towards the way she looks.

<SIZE size="50">CHARACTER LIKES:
Amity loves very many things, she loves the beach, above all other things she just loves living and being by the beach, she thinks that it's one of the greatest gifts that she's ever been given. Amity has always loved swimming and sitting on the beach, but has never liked surfing, where her younger brother had always been so much better at it. She has never taken to it. She really loves reading, and she really enjoys being taken to other worlds and enjoying other stories, despite what her grades in the later years of her education may show, Amity has always loved reading and learning. She's much more of a learner when she can practice things, and while she enjoys learning by reading, sometimes she likes doing things and finding the best way to do them. As well as that, Amity will learn something much more quickly if she had decided herself that she wants to read about it, or learn about it. She loves being able to spend time with her family, she loves the christmas time of year, because she can spend time with her family. She loves drinking tea and being able to just chat with her family. Most of the time Amity believes that because of the circumstances which created her family means that her family is stronger and closer. She would never dream on turning her back on them. Amity loves living in Australia, she loves being Australian and loves everything about the country she grew up in. As much as she enjoyed the U.K., and Scotland she feels just so at home with Australia. Amity loves visiting new places and she loves being a tourist. She likes visiting a place that she's never been to and just walking around. She loves being magical because of the doors it opens to her which don't exist for muggles. She does also have a small fascination for muggles, finding them incredibly interesting and has some beliefs that the wizarding world should ingrate itself a lot more with the muggle world.

CHARACTER DISLIKES:
The first thing that Amity hates is anyone who believes that being a girl, or female means that they are weak. Ever since seeing some of the reasons that people give up children is because of gender, Amity has become the sort of person who instantly dislikes someone who discriminates because of gender. She doesn't like when males see themselves as above females. She really dislike bad parents. She thinks it's the craziest thing for a parent to do. She knows that sometimes there are bad people who are just trying their best, but those parents out there who hate their children, or blame them for things she believes is the worst trait a person can have. She's always wanted to be able to help kids like her parents did with her and her siblings, but it's honestly one of the things she feels most strongly about. Amity does also have a small pet peeve for people who refuse to try new things. She believes it to just be stupid and annoying. Amity also dislikes fairly more normal things like she doesn't like when it rains for days on end without any indication that it's going to stop. She doesn't like when she breaks a nail, or when she gets too much dirt in her nails. She hates applying make-up on a normal day because of how long it can take. She dislikes getting sand in her hair, but knows it's just a part of living at the beach. Amity doesn't particular enjoy roller-coasters or flying on planes. Despite really loving flying on brooms, planes are just something she doesn't handle all that well.

GOALS:
Amity has always struggled with goals in her life, she has never really known what she has wanted from her life, it has always been sort of up in the air. She has never really known what she wanted to do. Even in school, she thought about maybe doing something in quidditch, but she wasn't sure if she really wanted to continue with flying after school. She doesn't really know if she wants to spend time in muggle university, or if she wants to go work for the ministry like her parents. It just has never been clear to her what direction she should go with her life. She has never been able to think that much about it, always thinking that she had enough time to make some real decisions. Amity does know that really wants to be able to have a family at some point and that's the only thing that is really a goal in her life.

BOGGART:
It would be pretty easy for Amity, it would either be rejection from her adoptive parents, who have been there for her in ways that she can't stop being thankful for. So, for them to then turn around and reject her would just be soul destroying for her. She would barely be able to deal with that kind of rejection. Or the other would be that any of her family members would be dead. She loves her family so much, her siblings and her parents and losing any one of them would be incredibly hard for it. It would honestly be one of the worst things that would happen to her. It would just be incredibly hard. Despite never having really lost anyone in that way, she would feel incredibly saddened by it. Like a part of her would be missing.

PATRONUS:
Amity's patronus is an otter. She was able to conjure it during her final year at school. She has some incredibly positive memories, and is a very happy person which means that she can quite easily create it.

PATRONUS MEMORY:
Her memory for the patronus was easy, it was the first birthday that she spent with her family, with the new addition of Archie. It's an incredibly simple day, they had fun in the garden and they hung around on the beach. They had a nice meal and just had a lot of fun. Amity knows that to most it's a particularly strong or good memory, but it was the sort of day that was just so simple good that she has never wanted it to be anything else. She remembers the perfect way everything was. She remembers vividly about every detail. She remembers that after a beautiful sunny morning it clouded over and started raining, but to her this was still perfect, they took shelter in the home, and the parents cast a few spells so they could continue to be outside in their garden despite the rain. Amity has had many days like this since, but it was just the most perfect. With all of them together just thought it was the perfect day, and the family felt really complete.

DEMENTOR:
Amity would say that one of her worst memories would be the day that she found out her girlfriend was cheating on her with some other girl. She didn't like people who cheated any way but she couldn't believe that it had happened to her. She had fallen so head over heels for this girl that she hadn't thought would ever do that to her. Amity couldn't believe it, she honestly thought that her heart had been torn in two and smashed against a wall. She hates rejection but it was the worst thing to think that the person whom she had first loved had decided to cheat on her as if it was nothing at all.

VERITISERUM:
If amity could admit any single truth it would be that she fears that her family in China gave her up purely because she was girl. She has ever since looking into adoption in China she has seen that a lot of girls get given up for adoption because of that. She has always been taught and shown that girls are as good and as strong as boys, it was just something She was always brought up to think that genders were equal, but from doing her research she has realised that her parents likely didn't want her because she's a girl, and she would admit that feels that as a girl she's simply not good enough. Will never be good enough for her biological family.

MIRROR OF ERISED:
For Amity what she would see would be quite simple, she has always loved her family, but she wishes that her real biological family could be at least a little in contact with them, and they would stand with her real family altogether and all of them would just be happy and proud of her. She would want nothing more from her life than for both parts of her family could be together. She also would see herself with a family of her own. Little children, both adopted and non-adopted. As much as Amity has always desired to do well in life she has always wanted a family of her own.

AMORENTIA:
Amity has a lot of sort of smells which make her incredibly happy. The first of them in the fresh sea air. Just thinks that the smell of it is the most incredible thing ever. She thinks of that smell as like home. She thinks of it as the most welcome smell that she's ever had. It's mostly because of how much her home actually smells like that. She has always really loved it. It has always filled her with the most amount of joy. Aside from that, she loves the smell of freshly made cake, that sweet smell which fills the home. She loves the smell of really anything that has been freshly made, home cooking to her is the best thing. As much as she loves going to the restaurant Amity thinks that home cooking is one of the best things. She also really loves the smell of mint leaves, they grow some in the garden of the family home, she finds that it smells so much better than it tastes and always tries to have a cup of it in the room of her home. Contrasting to all of that she really enjoys the smell of petrol. She thinks that it's a horrible thing, but she really loves the smell of it. She thinks that it's a strange smell to love but also really loves it.

I LOOK UP TO:
Amity looks up to both her adoptive parents, she has never really looked up to anyone else in her life. This is mostly due to the fact that Amity sees her adoptive parents as people who are selfless enough to bring other people's children into their home and raise them as if they were their own. She doesn't know where she would be without them stepping when she needed anyone to take care of her. The same with her siblings. She doesn't know how her parents do it considering that there is always the risk of losing the child. She herself knows that she's incredibly curious about her birth parents, not that Amity would ever turn her back on them. It is for those reasons that she looks up to them.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS:
Amity has never really held any religious beliefs it was never a large part if her way of life before Hogwarts, her family were fairly non-religious and brought Amity up in similar fashion. She has never felt like she should follow any beliefs but has always enjoyed learning about the old gods and the things that they taught. Despite not learning about them in any school she has always loved learning about other cultures and the religions of them. Amity has never believed in any higher power but she has always loved learning about it, and learning about things like that. She finds it incredibly fascinating.

POLITICAL ALIGNMENT:
Amity has never overly interested herself in Politics, neither in the magical world or in the muggle world. her main interest or alignment would be with the free movement or opening up of borders. Having been born in China but moved to Australia she's always been pretty passionate about the fact that people should be able to move if they want to. But, really that's the only policy she would feel strongly about and would not align herself with any political theory.

ZODIAC SIGN:
Cancer

ZODIAC DESCRIPTION:
Those born under the sign of Cancer, ruled by the mysterious Moon, are one of the zodiac's enigmas. It is fair to say that most Cancers are a bundle of contradictions. Compassionate and caring with friends, family and lovers, yet they can cut to the bone with their jealous remarks and ever-changing moods. Endearingly eccentric on one hand, and on the other, insecure about how others see them. Like their astrological symbol - the Crab - Cancers can appear hard and insensitive on the outside. Life doesn't stand still for this sign, even if they remain in one place, because they live so much in their internal oceans of emotions. Their link with the Moon often makes it impossible for them to operate on an even keel from day to day. Up and down like the proverbial yo-yo, most Cancerians feel one way one minute, then sometimes totally different the next. But this characteristic is part of their charm.

BASIC PERSONALITY:
Amity is a fairly laid back girl, who takes her education very seriously. She is a little bit introverted but has grown a lot over the years of her school to become much more outgoing. She has always been very friendly, but it's only in recent years that she's managed to really be able to show this to more people and because of it has managed to gain a number of new friends. She has always been very studious, and will honestly work incredibly hard to get whatever she wants. When Amity decides that she wants something she will just do it. She'll work at it until she has it. She'll stop at nothing. Amity has always been very determined. She has never backed down from a challenge that she has set herself. If she decided that she wanted to become a professional quidditch player she would do it. Despite this determination however, Amity is a little lost on what to settle on with her life. She's always been between places and has never known which direction she wishes to go in. Amity has been working to try and decide what she wants to do, but it's been tricky, and it's the only thing she hasn't really decided.
Amity is a very smart and kind girl, and is very quick to fall in love. She falls head over heels with people. She has never understood why, but she fears rejection so much but loves incredibly quickly. She tries not to, but she does. She finds the little things about people that she ends up falling for. Amity has always tried to not, but it's hard. She loves very strongly and loves freely. She is loyal to all of her friends and to her partners, and feels like the worst thing a person can do is cheat. She fears rejection a lot, and would say it's her greatest fear. Amity has always been the kind of person who tries to help others, and believes in helping children above everything else. She'll fight for the rights of people who are not equal within society. Amity can at times be pretty emotional, and for this reason a little unpredictable, her reactions to something will depend on the thing itself.
Overall however, Amity is a very smart and laid back person, with a determination in life and a loyalty to her friends and family that is incredibly deep.

WAND:
Curly 9 1/2 Inch Flexible Applewood Wand with Augurey Tail Feather Core

WAND DESCRIPTION:
Length: On the shorter side of things, this wand offers excellent control and aim - easily an extension of one's own arm.
Style: Great care was taken in crafting this wand's wood to spiral to its point, giving it a beautiful aesthetic quality.
Wood: A wand suited for a witch or wizard of lofty ideals, Applewood is not used well in the dark arts.
Core: Since so many wizards are afraid to go near Augureys due to their association as ‘omens of death,’ Augurey tail feathers are rare as wand cores. They are good for use in divination work.
Flexibility: Flexible: Not easily broken, this wand performs under strenuous circumstances with little effort - though how well it performs is ultimately up to its weilder.

THOUGHTS ABOUT WAND:
I hadn't been too sure what kind of wand I would get, I've always been curious about my elder sister's wand, and my parents, but getting my own was a little different. I went to Diagon Alley to get it, in London, and the store was pretty empty. I tried several different wands, I didn't know which kind would be right for me, especially since it wouldn't necessarily be the same as the wands of my adopted parents. However, when the wand that finally chose me appeared, I just knew it. It was the perfect length, perhaps a little on the shorter side of things the curl of the wood and the natural look of the wood is just incredible. I am so pleased that this is my wand. As soon as it was placed in my hand I knew, I knew without a shred of a doubt that this was the best wand for me. I couldn't believe how great it felt when I finally had it in my hand.

SCHOOL:
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Scotland

FIRST THOUGHTS:
She had been offered to go to Hogwarts New Zealand, which is much closer to where she lived with her family, she had decided that she wanted to go to Hogwarts Scotland, it was just the school that her adoptive parents had gone to. Which was why she wanted to go there rather than going to Hogwarts New Zealand, which her younger brother has gone. When she first entered the school, Amity had been incredibly nervous she had no idea what was waiting for her in the school, and she was really keen to get started in her lessons, but trying to not think about the fact that while her parents were magic, and she didn't know where her magic was from. It was tricky for her to begin with, and while she loved the look of the school, and everything about it, there were something things which were just incredibly tricky for her. She loved the lake, and the quidditch pitch quickly became her favourite place in the school, very closely followed by the library. She found the entire school to be beyond her wildest dreams of it had been. She was just so incredibly happy at how amazing the school look and how magical it felt to her.

HOUSE:
Ravenclaw

THOUGHTS WHILE BEING SORTED:
I was nervous to say the least. I didn't know what blood type I was or even what magic would be like for me. I had read a lot about the school before going it was nerve racking to me that I was finally at it you know. For me it was just so incredible and I couldn't wait to get sorted by the entire sorting ceremony was incredibly nerve racking. I mean my first name is an A, but the last is R, and I was nervous as the crowd began to thin out. I wondered if I would even be sorted. After all I was sorted into Ravenclaw and I was pretty pleased with it since my adoptive father had been a Ravenclaw while she had been at school, which felt good. Despite being the only one of my siblings who was adopted as a baby it is nice to have some traits the same. Ravenclaw is incredible though. I mean I learned so much, pushed myself so much I worked so hard at everything, I maybe could've gone out more, but I don't mind it at all. It was the best thing for me and it was the best fit I could've had.

CURRENT YEAR:
She has now graduated, and therefore no longer had a current year.

PREVIOUS YEARS:
FIRST YEAR-FOURTH YEAR: The first four years of her time at Hogwarts were fairly uneventful. Amity while a kind and caring person was very nervous about everything and had spent a lot of her time only with other Ravenclaws rather than with those of the other houses. She spent a lot of her time studying and reading books. She spent all of her christmases at school, until Archie joined the family, and then she went back home every time after that. She got perfect grades in the first four years of school, and she got on to the team in her second year while at the school. She was incredibly proud of herself and really couldn't believe. She was incredibly honoured, and it was only through that, that her confidence grew and she began to grow more as a person
FIFTH YEAR-SEVENTH YEAR: The last three years of her school, were pretty different from the first four years. As she began to take part in more sections of the school, her grades suffered a little, but she began to get a whole lot more comfortable with things, and began to be more outgoing, she still continued to work hard, but left herself be more involved with her friends and her school activities, which meant that her grades suffered slightly, but she began to grow in confidence and find her way a little more than before. Amity went home during all the holidays that she could to spend time with her family, she was growing as a person more during these years. She still managed to achieve prefect and remained in the school quidditch team. She was very sad when she did actually have to leave.

YEAR OF GRADUATION:
2036

THOUGHTS DURING GRADUATION:
I think I was more nervous about this as I was about sorting. Mostly as sorting is the thing you do without anyone watching where as graduation I made sure to invite my entire family. I was so happy that everyone came to it. I thought it was going to go terribly, like I would trip in front of everyone, or I would say something. Or anything bad really but it went off without a single hitch actually. It was really beautiful. I was so happy to get my diploma and to be able to hold my head high at all I had achieved during my seven years at the school. I found it difficult to believe that I had been at it seven years. It was surreal, and then to say goodbye to it and just leave forever. It was tricky, and I was really upset when leaving, because I'd built a sort of life out there, but I was also super happy to go home, and I was super happy to know that Archie was going to have as amazing a time as I did in school.

POSITIONS ACHIEVED:
Amity has always worked hard in her classes, and for that reason achieved becoming a prefect in her fifth year until she then left the school in Seventh year. She was on the Ravenclaw's quidditch team as a Keeper. She worked very hard in this position, but it was the only thing aside from her studies that she did during school.

FAVOURITE CLASS:
Amity's favourite class was easily Muggle Studies, it was an elective class that she had really been looking forward to. Her life before it had involved some muggles but honestly not that many. She was pleased to be able to finally have the opportunity to learn about them. About what they do, and how they interact. While having a few muggle friends while growing up Amity would admit to knowing very little about them. It was a class that she worked incredibly hard in and put all her effort in. She wants to maybe do something in that when she's settled down since leaving.

LEAST FAVOURITE CLASS:
Amity's least favourite class has always been ancient runes. She took it in third year thinking it would be good but was seriously disappoint by it. It was too much in the air. She has never enjoyed predicting the future despite how good her professor said she would be if she actually worked at it. Ancient runes was the class that she was so happy to be able to drop the class when she had finally been done with it. She had been convinced to continue with Arithmancy despite how much she also hated that class. It was mostly just because she was so good at it.
