Aminia was the second born of her family, and while Middle Children are often considered forgotten, of her three sisters her father has favored her all her life versus her mother who favors Amella and Amoretta. Aminia was taken by cesarean from her dancer mother, whom later underwent magical procedures to remove the ugly scar. She was the only to be born as such. Whether or not this adds to why her mother is hard on her is undetermined, though Aminia assumes such.
