Style: Amara doesn't have much of a 'style' at the moment aside from the love of bright colors and anything that sparkles.
Other Distinguishing Features: There are faint scars beneath her right knee and on her right shin where she broke a few bones after falling out of a tree in her back yard when she was seven. Amara thought scars were cool, so she asked the healers to leave her with tiny mementos of the fall.
PERSONALITY
Amara is an adventurous, tree-climbing, wannabe broom-flying child. It doesn't take much coercion to talk Amara into participating in any activities that hint at even an ounce of adventure. Her normal levels of enthusiasm have been muted for the last year since her parents' divorce, and with the recent move to New Zealand, some of her out-going nature has taken a backseat to her insecurities.
She wants to make friends and is somewhat eager to meet new people, but, especially when in large groups of people, Amara can seem a bit shy or introverted. It used to be very easy for Amara to trust just about anyone, but due to recent shake ups in the family dynamic, she is no longer as willing to just open her heart and trust anyone she meets. But once her trust is earned, she is very loyal to a fault.
Despite the nerves of being in a new place, there is an eagerness and inquisitiveness surrounding anything and everything magical. She will soon be ready to leave her half-Muggle life back in England in the past and immerse herself in the magical world in New Zealand.

Amara was born and raised in Liverpool, England as the only child of Arlo and Natasha Vayne. Natasha had attended Hogwarts New Zealand and taken a job with the local Ministry of Magic for a few years after her graduation. Once her training was complete and she'd worked for a couple years as an Obliviator, she decided it was time for a change of scenery and moved to London, England where she became an Obliviator with the British Ministry of Magic. Natasha was on an assignment to hunt down a charmed vehicle that had found its way onto a Muggle used car lot and obliviate the minds of any Muggles who were witness to the vehicle's odd antics when she met Arlo Vayne.
Arlo was a car salesman at the lot with the magicked vehicle, but even after having his mind wiped of the ordeal, he used his smooth talking skills to charm Natasha. Against her better judgement, Natasha agreed to go on a date with Arlo, and two years later they were married. Amara was born a year after their marriage, but over the years, the marriage deteriorated and ended with divorce when Amara was nine. A year later, Natasha decided she wanted to be back home with her family in New Zealand to rebuild her life, and with Arlo's agreement, she took Amara with her.
All of her life, Amara expected to attend Hogwarts in the UK. Now, a year before she is to begin school, she has moved to New Zealand to jumpstart this new chapter of her life.
