Alone and Hurting

Harri needed time alone, time to think. There was so much guilt pulsing through her body she felt completely overcome by it. How could she have doubted Kevin so badly? How could she have doubted the love that ran so prodominantly through her vains? What she felt right now could be mistaken for nothing but pure love.
Harri was physically hurting right now, as she thought of the pain that Kevin was going through it hurt her, and not being able to get to him now, not being able to comfort him or help him was hurting her so badly she thought she might explode. She moped up the stairs, teeth chattering and shivering though it was mid spring.
She finally arrived at her destination, the North Tower, no one was ever up here. It would be the perfect place to sit and think, completely underdisturbed. Her head down and her red hair hidding her face, she continued to walk slowly towards the window sill she always sat on, when suddenly she collided with someone, not even bothering to look up she simply shouted "Watch were your going," coldly and went to the window sill, sitting down and errupting in a fresh set of tears.

Stephh had just gone for a walk up to the north tower, she liked coming up here and looking out at the grounds. She had just ran up the stairs when she walked straight into Harri, Watch where your going. Steph frowned, why was Harri being like this? 'whats up with you?' Steph said a little insensitively.

Harri turned slowly when she heard some adress her. "Wha.." she began "Oh hey Steph." she said, her tone flat, lifeless. Hearing Stephs tone she turned back around and rested her head on the stone wall behind her, "Your too young to understand," she said flatly, shaking her head.
At the moment she wasn't thinking straight, her whole mind was consumend with Kevin, every breath she took seemed to be for him. Her hand instictivly tapped her pocket where the letter was, the words seemed burned on her brain and she wasn't about to forget them. "Seriously, too young," she repeated so quietly you could barely hear.

Steph frowned at Harri, 'Too young? Whats that supposed to mean?' She said, trying not to let her temper rise, Steph was being very moody lately.

"It means exactly what you think it means," Harri said, her tone sharp and patronising, as she kept her face turned away from Steph, her eyes wet with tears as she thought how much Kevin was hurted. "And having to ask simply proves it further," she said keeping up the patronizing tone that she so rarely used. A tone she highly doubted Steph would ever have heard her use.

Steph frowned again, 'What got your wand in a knot?' She asked, wondering why her supposed best friend was being so snappy.

"Too much," Harri said quietly, her body still turned away from Steph. Her mind was racing over what Caysi had literally just told her, she was still taking it in. Still wondering why she was sitting here when she should be with him.
"I'm sure you have better things to do," she said, not meaning for her tone to come out so cold. Right now she was acting like her mum, pushing anyone close to her awa, locking them out. Focusing on one thing and one thing only. She was acting like Brooke, her tone was almost an exact replicar, and it made her cringe.
She cringed further towards the window, not realising it probably looked like she was moving away from Steph. She disliked her mum, and too see herself being exactly like her was horrible. But the thought meerly flickered across her mind before it returned purely to Kevin and his lose.
