🌹 Rose Giving Almost Done

Juniper wasn't sure she liked the dungeons. They seemed so cold and dark, anyhow she was forced to go down there in search of her next delivery. Looking at the people she had no idea who Logan Ashworth was but she was hoping to find him fast. "Um have you seen Logan Ashworth around?" She asked the first person she saw, they pointed towards a boy and Juni approached him carefully. "Logan Ashworth?" She asked hoping it was him.

Logan was feeling pretty confident about today. He was sure to get a bunch of roses, right? He grinned when he heard someone call his name. His grin only widening when he saw who it was. "Oh hey, sand girl." He said. "You got a rose for me?"

Junipers awkward anxiety only worsened when she saw who the Logan guy was and that he called her the 'sand girl'. She wanted to sink through the floor. "Um-" She began but fell short on words to say. Instead she pulled out the yellow rose and note meant for the boy and extended it forward. "Yes... I have a rose for you, here." She spoke quietly, avoiding eye contact at all costs and feeling her hands start to shake. The last time she'd seen this boy properly she'd cried in front of him. CRIED. Merlin have mercy and let the ground swallow me, was all Juni could think in the moment.

Logan raised his eyebrows a little as the girl acted shocked to see him, like she hadn't just called his name. He took the rose from her, feeling a twinge of disappointment when he saw it was yellow. He had sent a few pink ones himself, that was the point of this day right? But it was still a nice one from Theo. He'd have to thank him later. Logan looked at her. "Thanks." He told her. "No boyfriend today to defend you from me?" He then teased. "Kidding, I won't say anything mean." He added, before she started crying again or something.

Junipers mortification only grew. Why was he asking about boyfriends, she had no boyfriend? Then it hit her, right Freddie had stood up for her. As Logan said that he wouldn't say anything mean she pursed her lips into a thin line. "You are welcome, bye." She cut it short, needing to get out. She'd be quite happy to never see Logan again, or Teddy because Juniper wasn't sure she could get over the embarrassments of today anytime soon.
