A Rough Beginning​

Alex was born into a poor family, living in a slum-like area of Scotland. The family had to move around, a lot, in an attempt to avoid being caught for the various crimes his father had to commit in order to get money. When Alex was fourteen, his mother and father split up, leaving him as the sole breadwinner for his mother. He managed to get odd jobs during the school holidays, like cleaning cars and Alex struggled to pay for his books and uniform for Hogwarts, and things only got worse when his mother began dating, again. He was already getting bullied at school for having clothes too small or too big.

The new man in his mother's life did not like the fact that he was competing with Alex for Maura's attention, and he began taking Alex aside, to hit him. Jason, being a muggle, knew nothing, really, of the two people that he was dealing with. One day, Alex snapped and he allowed his blood to boil. He had always struggled to contain his magical abilities, and the anger burst from him, exploding like a bomb, knocking Jason to the ground and causing him to hit his head. Alex, in a panic, packed a bag and fled from his home. By now, he was sixteen years old and nearly finished with his education. He managed to find a hideout only several miles from Hogwarts, playing home to a few other boys. Alex lived there until he had finished his school years.

Life After Hogwarts​

Alex finished at Hogwarts with a good handful of grades, considering his circumstances. In his final year at Hogwarts, he had managed to rise up and gain a reputation as one of the 'tough' guys at the school. This reputation had earned him some friends, who happened to be interested in the Dark Arts. These two friends (Mike and Crater) began following Alex- who led them into crimes, such as graffitiing trains. Mike and Crater disappeared, one night, and Alex tried to contact them, but he never received a response. The two of them had mentioned a gang and money, but Alex had never really paid attention. Nineteen years old, without a friend to spare, Alex sought out his mother, and found her at a house not too far from their previous home. He moved back in, learning that Jason had only some slight amnesia from the fall, and that he had left two weeks after Alex's disappearance when Maura refused to give him any attention.

Living with his mother, Alex knew that he needed to clean up his act, but he was a changed person. Maura had taken to heavy drinking, which Alex managed to help her stop. He then found himself a job at The Hog's Head (Scotland) as a bartender. Alex began traveling, during his time off. He did time inside a muggle prison for assaulting and threatening a stuck-up posh bloke. His boss welcomed him back as though he had only been on holiday. Alex went unchanged from his two month stay in a muggle prison, and he is still just as much of a fighter as ever.

In 2026, Alex married Liberty Barnett after discovering that she was carrying his child. Liberty, by unlucky coincidence, was Tobias Barnett's (A Ravenclaw who Alex briefly became close to, alongside James Dalton at school) sister. The couple lived in New Zealand for a few months, before moving to a small flat in Bulgaria, finally ending up in France. Alex became a father to Keanu Corvus in March of 2027, a month before he was due to be born. It was then discovered, in September of 2028, that Liberty was pregnant again. She had twin girls Ferrah and Belladonna Corvus at the start of May, 2029.
