Length: A little on the longer side of things, wands of this length are slightly more uncommon and not easily forgotten by others.
Style: The knots of this wand's original wood remain clearly visible - earthy, this style of wand is perhaps most traditional and closest to nature.
Wood: An excellent wandwood for healing and non-verbal magic, the wielder of a Willow wand more often than not has an something about themselves which makes them insecure unnecessarily.
Core: The web of an acromantula is especially strong, so as a core it helps to add a punch to spells. It has been known to be useful for spells of a darker nature. Wands with this core would have no effect against a Basilisk or against a wand that had a core with a part of a Basilisk.
Flexibility: Rigid: A difficult wand to control and sometimes broken under little force, but powerful in a fight.

Hair: Long and dark blonde. Alana loves her hair and considers it one of her best features. She often wears it in a ponytail, though on special ocassions, she will wear it loose and wavy.

Alana's eyes are genetic. Her mother has eyes that are the same exact color. She is not an albino as some people assume. Alana dislikes her eye color, but her mother won't allow her to wear contacts and insists that she be proud of them. For Alana, they were a source of embarrassment and made her feel like a freak when she was younger. Now, she is beginning to appreciate their uniqueness, but she is still quite sensitive about them.
Style: Alana's favorite colors are purple and silver. As a child, she could usually be found wearing her favorite purple hoodie over whatever she is wearing. When she was younger, Alana adopted a more baggy style. In recent years, she has begun to wear tighter clothes. Alana doesn't like skirts at all, but dresses are ok.
Room style - Alana has had her bedroom looking like this since she was 15.
Ring style - Although this ring belonged to Chaos' great-grandmother, Alana feels like it was made for her. When she entered school, things changed for Alana. Her desire to fit in took over and not be seen as a freak took over, and she became withdrawn and shy. Her true personality was only been seen when she was angry or afraid. Eventually, with her increasing responsibilities, Alana began to come out of her shell. On the positive side, she shows true leadership and an ambition to succeed. On the negative, Alana can be quite petty and sharp.
Magical beliefs: Alana was raised to believe that magical people were superior to muggles, so she doesn't have a high opinion of muggle borns who are more or less intruders in her eyes. Alana isn't a pureblood so she doesn't think they are any better or worse than other blood types. She thinks a lot of purebloods are snobby, so she doesn't like that. Having married into a pure blood family has confirmed her opinion of pure bloods.

They would make attempts to remain friends, but even that was difficult and dangerous for Matthew, and with time, they seemed to return to the strangers they'd once been.

A relationship built more out of convenience, they were both engaged to other people, than anything else, Alana enjoyed being seen with Asa Romanes even though they had little in common.
