Closed Agreeing in Silence

It had been a fine afternoon after classes when Stefan decided to spend the remaining hours at the lake before dinner. With his sketch pad on hand, he located the tree where he usually stayed and where he met Lucie as well. Its location was ideal, close enough to the bank of the lake, and the wide trunk provided just enough coverage. He flipped open his book to a blank page and decided to sketch the first scene he came upon when he arrived at the courtyard for the club fair. Minutes passed by as his hand moved across the page. He never thought he would join any club at this point. He was still the same silent, observant Stefan but somehow meeting and talking Lucie had made him want to reach out more.

No one should have been surprised to see Eoin down by the lake, it was where he usually ended up spending most of his time when he wasn't in the library. He was still pretty determined to record the whole lake and everything that lived in it before he graduated, after all. Especially to prove to some morons that there was only one giant eel and it certainly didn't eat people. He didn't really pay attention to anyone else as he wandered down to the lake front, kicking odd his shoes and socks as he went before briefly bending over to roll up his trousers so they didn't get wet. Then, clutching his waterproof notebook and pencil to his side, he waded in so the water was lapping around his ankles.

Stefan noticed a figure went into the lake. He paused in what he was doing and looked up. A boy who seemed to be younger than him walked into the lake, his shoes by the bank. The Hufflepuff put down his sketchbook and observed the other boy, see what he would do next.
