After Alana Finch found her boyfriend with his arm wrapped around his fiancee, kissing her for the first time, Asa Romanes figured that he needed to at least try to explain things. To Asa, this was not really serious. He knew that it would never last, so he never really put a lot of effort to it. Sure, Alana was pretty, and she was a cool girl, but that was all that she would ever be to him. Asa knew this. Asa didn't think that she would be that upset because Francesca was his future wife. That was something that would never change. After all, he was sure that she did the same thing with Chaos. After demanding some of the younger students where the blonde prefect went, he finally figured it out. The cliffs. Figures. Sighing, he tossed his robes around him and shoved his hands into his pockets. He made his way outside, toward the cliffs. It was irritating him, that he was having to do this and it showed within those green eyes of his. He made his way to the cliffs to see the blonde there. Finally. He approached her, knowing that her temper was close to legendary around the school, from who he knew anyway. He sighed, "Do I need to explain anything?" His voice was monotone, almost like he was bored.

Alana Finch had never fooled herself into thinking that she and Asa would be together forever. Their relationship had simply been a distraction from the reality of their arranged marriages. What she had fooled herself into believing was that Asa would kindly inform her that it was time for things to end, not that she’d run into him kissing his fiance and then him acting as if she should have expected it all along. Turning, red eyes narrowed and willing the power to kill into them, Alana shook her head swiftly. “Nope. It all looked pretty clear to me” she stated, her voice as cold as she could make it. She didn’t even feel like crying. Mostly, she was just angry that she’d been so naïve. “Why? Do you have something to explain?” she added, her fingers wrapped around her wand, just daring him to say something to warrant her hexing him.
