Steph and James walked to the lake, it was icy cold, but Steph wasnt cold, James had his arm around her waist, protecting her.
They sat down under a tree, it was pitch black, way after midnight, but Steph didnt care, she was wide awake.
She leant against him, 'Its cold isnt it.' She said quietly, not wanting to disturb the peaceful grounds.

When they sat down, James pulled off his jacket, he wrapped it around Steph, he didnt care how cold he was, he was just glad he was here with Steph.
'Tonight was good Steph, thank you.' He said, putting his arm back around her.

Steph smiled, staring up at the stars, 'It was, and no problem,' She said, not wondering why he was thanking her.

James looked at her, he looked up to the sky to see what she was looking at, 'Wow' He whispered, he hadnt seen the sky so clear at night for a long time.

She turned to James, he was staring at the stars, 'Its beautiful.' Steph said, taking off her high heels.
