Christopher was alarmed on what was happening to Kate. The best idea for now is to bring her to the Hospital Wing. Chris almost leaped in shock when he saw the blood coming out of Kate's hands which Artemis was stroking gently. It was Chris's first time seeing blood coming out of someone's hand when no one used something sharp for it to come flooding. Well, it wasn't really flooding but it was coming out of her nails. Chris was very startled when this occurred. What is wrong with her?, he thought. Kate's face were as pale as snow and that startled Chris just as much as he was about the blood thing. Kate sighed and that made Chris want to help her more. Chris reached for his pockets when Kate asked if anyone has a tissue. Unfortunately, he doesn't have any but he had a small handkerchief. He quickly pulled it out from his pockets and handed it to Kate. "Here. Use this. I don't have any tissues but I think handkerchief does the job equally than tissues does." He said. Chris wiped down the tears that were coming put of Kate's eyes since she can't wiped it on her own on account of her hands covered with blood."Kate, don't cry. Artemis and I are here to help you." He informed Kate, his voice full of concern for Kate.

Artemis was slightly glad that she was able to gently release Kate's fist in time. The sight of the blood startled Artemis and caused her to stop breathing at the sight of it. She backed off by an inch while the blood was still pouring out. For the love of Merlin, she hated blood. She loathed and despised its color, smell and look. The liquid gave her chills and made her horror struck. She completely froze as she watched Kate look at it, rather calmly than she ever thought so. The blonde even seemed more frightened than Kate. It has been a while since she saw blood going outside a person's body. Recently, she has seen a wound, specifically a minor bruise that looked nasty on the person. The blood clotted inside the person's body, but at least Artemis would not be able to witness that. This case was rather different though. The blood going out of Kate's hands caused her to back up a little, about three feet away. She looked over to Chris as he kindly wiped the tears from her eyes. "Have any extra hankies there? Just er, so the b- b- blood can go away..." Stammered the small Slytherin. She expectantly looked over at Christopher Storm to see if he could offer anything. She just hoped he would. Artemis nodded with concern in her blue eyes as Chris mentioned her own name. Her eyes were still set on Kate, but she sometimes glanced over at Chris.

Kate was now shivering more violently but the pain in her head was gone and her heart and lungs were starting to relax after that hard work out.It was her brains fault all this was happening, well supposedly the doctors had said that her illness had been a mental one meaning when she thought she was having a heart attack because her heart was thumbing faster then usually because of all the left over adrenillin it was all the work of the brain. It was telling her body to start panicking but she was supposed to ignore it and drive on and just take the medicine but Kate didn't think that that was the problem. Most of the time she didn't think she was having a heart attack her body just did these things out f its own accord.Nothing to do with her brain so there was obviously something amiss.Kate took the handkerchief from Chris's hand "Thanks"She said quitely before cleaning the blood from her hands.Blood was almost familiar to Kate it often happened when she put herself with her nails when clenching her fists she was also prone to nosebleeds which could get very messy at time.Kate smiled weakly when she felt Chris wipe her tears, she mumbled another thanks extremely grateful to the two of them for taking care of her.Kate looked up and only noticed then that Artemis was much further away from her then previous. She followed Artemis's gaze and quickly hid her hands behind her back. She wiped most of the blood off her hands and took the tissue she had used earlier on to wipe off the rest. The handkerchief and tissue were covered in blood but her hands were now clean. She wasn't sure what to do with Chris's handkerchief. "I'll wash this"She said smiling and putting both the tissue and handkerchief in her pocket. She then looked at Artemis "It's okay now its all gone"She said her voice returning to normal

The shock grew fonder when Kate started shivering. What is up with her?, he thought. Chris started patting Kate two times faster than his patting before. Chris threw Artemis a 'What should we do know?' look and hoped she get the message so that she could suggest another of her awesome ideas. Chris inhaled a lot of air since he didn't really know what to do. Obviously, Kate wasn't really feeling better since the shivering indicated the she was not. Chris observed as Kate wiped her hands with the handkerchief Chris gave her. Chris wasn't really a blood hater but Artemis looked like she is. She looked more scared than the actual person where the blood was coming from. Chris sighed and bit his lip, "Nope. That's my only handkerchief", he said to Artemis regretfully. If Chris knew this was going to happen, he could have brought all of his handkerchiefs. Chris just nodded when Kate thanked him. It really was no big deal. Chris loves helping people. "No need. You can keep it if you want. I haven't really used that handkerchief before so it's not really a big deal" Chris muttered. Chris let out a sigh of relief when Kate stopped shivering and started speaking to her normal voice. But somehow, he wasn't really convince. "Are you sure? We could bring you to the Wing if you want to?" He asked.

Artemis looked at the boy, with a strange tinge of sadness and nervousness. The dark red liquid was still there, flowing out continuously, like a river with a fast current. She bit her lip, not knowing what to do and to response. In some sort of way, that was her small response to the male Hufflepuff. Christopher would have probably seen that, since he turned towards the blonde's direction to reply to her question. She immediately thought of his closet, wondering how many pieces of hankies he had in their. It amused her though (inwardly, of course) to actually wonder about a boy having numerous hankies than a girl. She thought of it briefly, before even thinking of abandoning the small thought of hers. She quickly looked back at Christopher as she heard his voice again, responding back to Kate's simple words moments ago. Slowly just like a small five year old youngling, Artemis crept back to her previous spot and slowly opened her lips to support the third year's sentence. "I don't have any thing to do anyways. And maybe it would be good for the blood to be completely gone, you know." Muttered the small Slytherin, as she quickly glanced at Kate's previously bloody hands in nervousness. It would have probably made Kate laugh, because of how scared and innocent Artemis' blue eyes expressed. She simply feared any blood that came out of a human.

Kate could see that Chris wasn't convinced but Kate was already feeling back to her normal self. This was normal,to be very sick on moment and then more or less okay after a few minutes.Kate didn't sleep much because of her pounding heart and the feeling like she was either going to go on fire or freeze, she often had very bad head aches which were always pounding away around her skull.Kate didn't really mind the panic attacks,it was really the after affects and the fact she would sometimes have to leave class abruptly so she would have a break down in front of her whole class.she had sent a letter to her parents and they were taking her straight to the doctors when she came home.she was looking forward to discovering what was wrong with her but also scared of finding out what condition or disease she actually had.the worry about these things wasn't good for her health it was actually worse.Kate smiled, the both of them were so nice.Kate didn't want to go to the hospital wing they wouldn't know what was wrong with either and they would probably make a big fuss and Kate didn't want that."No,they won't be able to help"Kate said her tone final. She knew they were only trying to help but the nurse could do nothing, this wasn't a magical condition just a rare muggle-one.Kate looked over at Artemis and smiled sympathetically "Don't worry it's all gone"She sad gently

Christopher hoped Artemis had an idea blobbing on her mind but unfortunately hadn't. Chris shook his head. He didn't really know what was happening and what he is going to do with Kate to help her. Chris is no nurse nor doctor so he didn't know what to do. He just hoped everything was alright as Kate had previous commented. Chris put his hands in his pockets, desperately wishing for a handkerchief to appear. Only, unfortunately nothing happened since what he wanted was very close to impossible and he didn't know any spells that could make handkerchiefs appear out of the blue. Chris stared at Kate with concern. "She's right" Chris agreed, nodding. Based on what Chris had witnessed for the past minutes, Artemis seemed to hate seeing blood coming out of someone. Especially blood that was flowing out consecutively. Kate seemed to come back to normal which made Chris breath more freely. "Why?" Chris asked Kate consciously. Of course they would be able to help, that's why it's called Hospital Wing, Chris thought. "I hope so" he replied, when Kate said all the attacks she felt before were now all gone.

Hearing that the third year agreed with her, Artemis managed an encouraging smile for Kate. She just hoped that Kate would agree with the both of them, for the blood to go away. Hell, she just hoped it stopped bleeding, immediately. She had no idea if ever it was still flowing, since she was actually far away from it because of disgust and fear about it. Hell, ever since she saw her own blood in her early years, she almost scared herself out of her mind. It could have been one reason for them to go and pay a visit to St. Mungos. She never placed a foot there even at her birth. Her mother was brought to the muggle hospital she works, not in the magical one. When she eventually came to sit closer because the red fluid was already lessened, she leaned in with curiosity with what Kate just said. "Is it a muggle thing?" Queried the blonde with her blue eyes sparking again with intensity. It was not really a normal thing for any person, but it was always filled with her emotion except when she would lie. All the lies would immediately go deep into her mind and hide behind it, while her eyes showed a total different thing. "It clotted immediately?" She questioned Kate, while trying to see whether her question was right or not. Artemis was not really the type to be scared out of her wits, but this case was just totally different. Blood was nothing she could stand, of all things.

The blood had stopped and it was starting to clot.Kate did a final wipe with the handkerchief and now they were all clean and ll that was left was the marks were she had cut her skin. She must cut her nails when she goes back to her dorm or else she would just do herself more harm. She put the handkerchief in her pocket and looked at Artemis apologetically. It was clear that she didn't like blood and Kate felt guilty that she had caused that.Kate sighed they probably wouldn't understand Kate barely did either and obviously neither did the doctors or else they would of diagnosed her properly. She had long since thrown away the medication they had given her because it hadn't worked instead she had been living on pain killers. If she took much more she would probably make herself ill but the head aches were always so sore and she needed them or she wouldn't be able to function.Sadly she has been starting to vomit a lot more these days she not sure whether its from the pain killers or the illness, the weight she had worked so hard to regain was slipping again and there was nothing Kate could do.She did her best to eat and now she was vomiting it back up.The migranes and vomiting were only new developments and it was proving she was getting worse if holidays hadn't been tomorrow she probably would of gone home anyways because it was getting more dangerous."Well you see I don't even know what's wrong with me,I went to the doctors over he summer and they said I had too much adrenal in my system and they gave me the suitable medication and they said I should be grand with in a few weeks but the were obviously wrong because I used to only have maybe one or two panic attacks rarely and now I get them most days,I can't eat,I have horrible headaches and I'm vomiting all the time"Kate said her voice rising as she neared the end of the sentence. She took a breath and calmed herself down she could easily go into another panic attack which she didn't need, she was still weak from the other one. "I'm getting it checked out when I go home tomorrow"She said quietly looking down at her hands.

Chris was still shocked about what just happened but he decided to let it slip off. He knew that being shocked to things he was unusual of was totally normal but he didn't want Kate to bother worrying that she was causing the other two shock and disgust. Chris saw that the blood in Kate's hands had already clot. At least that's a relief, Chris breathed in relief when he thought about it. Kate, here seemed like she's had this disease that was causing her these attacks and all these blood flowing. Chris felt sorrier for her the minute he thought about this. Kate doesn't seem to want to go to the Wing. Obviously, Chris can't stop her. She knew it would be best for her to take a visit in the Wing but she doesn't want to. Chris became more shock when Kate said her previous statement. So, all of what happened were panic attacks. Chris shook his head. He thought that they were too much for a Fourth Year to handle but Kate seemed confident all about this and that's what matters the most. "Go home? You mean, out of Hogwarts?" Chris asked, anxiously.

It was such a poor thing for Kate to actually live in such a life like that. It was full of suspense and mystery, and Artemis hated that kind of life. It bothered her when something was being hidden from her. That disease was some kind of an unusual thing, and Artemis almost offered Kate some help if that would be possible. Her mother was the doctor of an expensive hospital. She was a surgeon of the heart and that was a rare occupation for a female to handle. Silently, Artemis thought if Kate's problem was about her heart, and maybe if she that was the one, she could tell her about her mother. Gwyneth Jackson was a high class doctor, and it was possible for Artemis to convince her own mother to charge Kate, free. "Good luck." Muttered Artemis from her spot, looking at her with a weak smile, with a small hint of encouragement. She tried ignoring Christopher at his comment, and she remained her vision at Kate, thinking of how could it go with that doctor.

Kate felt drained,it was usually like this after anything bad happened .She would of thought after the last two years fate/life would of given her a break and let her enjoy life instead they gave her this.Everything started going scew ways after first year.First of all she became an unsociable figure because of a stupid boy and then she had lost the ability to eat,Sounds a bit far fetched but none the less that's what happened.Doctors still don't know what caused it,they think it had to do with something emotional she had become scarily thin over second year her parents had nearly gone through the roof when she had come home for the holidays and she had been in that condition.Kate doubted they had gotten over it yet. Then in third year Sara left, not literally more so she and Sara drifted apart with a bit of bickering and lots of angry glares and thoughts but they were over that now and they got on at home when they rarely had to talk. Now in fourth year she was burdened with this and she had a feeling more was to come and Kate wasn't looking forward to,she just hoped nothing happened next year with OWLs because Kate would probably just explode in frustration.Kate was confused were the holidays not tomorrow,God it turns out she is losing her mind now "No,I mean whenever the holidays are"she said her head hurting.Kate smiled "Thanks"She said luckily her parents were rich enough for private health care so if anything needed to be done it could be done almost straight away, also there were some of the best doctors in England working in that hospital and for that Kate was glad.she remembered going to public hospitals in Ireland and all the waiting that had to be done and the cost. She had hated going to hospitals then and she still wasn't much of a fan these days but it wasn't as bad now. "I'm sure I'll be okay"She said putting on a brave face.

Christopher was feeling a bit better now. Kate seemed to take over herself since she stopped shivering and turned back into her normal skin color. Now, Chris was sure everything was back to normal. He just wished this would never happen again. He was feeling very sorry for Kate. He thought about those other people that were suffering from fatal illness that he always read in his dad's muggle newspaper. They were very poor that they didn't have enough money to cure themselves. The muggle certainly have modern technologies that could cure those illness but one there's only one problem; the technologies don't come cheap. Chris took his hand from Kate's back and rested it in the bench. Chris nodded when Kate replied and when she said her last comment.

Artemis wanted to show Kate more courage. Well, she really needed the support of her friends. The Slytherin just wondered if the female Badger would already accept her as a friend. Slytherins usually had no relationship with Hufflepuffs, but she thought different with this girl. For one, she was a Slytherin. That immediately makes one friend. The pretty Hufflepuff in front of her had the looks and a good personality. Artemis was almost sure that she had friends or at least allies that could be found in the Slytherin house. There were some decent Slytherins and she humbly included herself in that small clan. She would bet that not really many Slytherins would be included, since they had arrogance in their personality. They were proud of it and the blonde was so sure that that was the reason why they were the infamous house. Artemis looked up once more and faced Kate's eye, catching that brave expression that she had. For once, she grinned again. "I like that expression." She uttered with her small grin still remaining on her lips. That little expression gave Artemis hope that the other girl would be cured and the doctors would finally get hold of what she had been carrying all these times. All those attacks would hopefully be gone but it wasn't quite so sure yet.

Kate felt bad about worrying them,if only she hadn't come up here this morning, none of this would of happened. But then again then she wouldn't of met these two great people who she considered her friends now. What she really felt guilty about was the fact she had scared Artemis or made her uncomfortable. She wasn't looking as bad now though and Kate felt the guilty bubble start to deflate a bit.Kate would probably go back to the dorms after this and lie down, maybe attempt to eat something so she could bring up the energy levels, which were at an all time low.She could barely keep her eyes open at this stage.Kate smiled "So do I"She said even though she didn't really feel it.She was going to need to be brave over the next few weeks and she knew somehow she's be able to do it. "Thanks, again for back there"She said leaning back on the bench

Christopher seemed to get over all the tension that happened earlier. Kate looked as if she was feeling better now and that made all the heavy feeling inside Chris' chest fade away. Chris nodded as the two girls talk. He wasn't really used to girl talk so it's not like it's unusual for him to go outcast whenever girls -especially girls he barely knew- talk. So, to broke the awkwardness and all Chris said "So, anyone want a biscuit? It's called Oreo. It's a Muggle biscuit in case you girls didn't know. My mother sent me a letter this morning accompanied by loads of Oreo", and reached up for his pocket to grab the biscuits. After doing so, he held it up for the girls to see.

Artemis half expected to see Kate in a better condition for the next semester. Next semester would be quite difficult for her, since Potions was there and it always made her feel dizzy when she had that subject. Next semester would probably be hectic for the fourth years, considering that Kate was one of them. It would be the time for people to aspire for becoming a Prefect and Artemis had a crazy idea that this was the time for those people to actually do their best academically and also through their actions. The Head of Houses would probably choose their future Prefects to serve their students in a good way. Someone who can earn respect easily and could get down to the situation for others would make a good one and she simply did not know if Kate would get it. It would be wonderful if ever the fellow Hufflepuff would proudly claim the badge that Prefects would wear whenever they would patrol in the halls. Artemis herself, believed that she admired it secretly. Artemis knew the responsibilities and the privilege in being chosen as one and she did not really mind if ever she would get that position. She had Quidditch and studies to balance. Leadership was momentarily out of her mind, because of the things that were going in a fast motion around her.

Food was something Artemis had forgotten and she really did not want one when the boy offered her some. The biscuit that went by the name, 'Oreo' did not really look appealing to her. It was covered in a plastic that showed a picture of it with black things that held a white stuffing in the middle. Artemis shook her head softly, offering him a weak smile instead. "Er, no thanks. I'm not really hungry. Maybe Kate would want some?" She asked as she glanced at Kate, looking at her to see if the energy that she used moments ago drained her. If she was in need of some energy, then food would be the solution. Artemis meanwhile, never relied on food for more energy. It was either water or rest that will boost her up again.

For the second time since entering Hogwarts Kate actually wanted to go home.It took her a lot to finally give up but really she just wanted to know what was wrong with her and get it fixed! It was torture being sick and having no idea what is wrong with you or if it was be with you permenant.Kate nearly constantly felt butterflies in her stomach. She just wanted to get out of here and find out what was wrong. It was one of the reasons she couldn't eat or sleep because she was so restless. She never liked feeling restless,it made her feel almost uncomfortable and it didn't help with her sleeping and eating habits. She was getting thin enough as it was and she probably looked tired no matter how much make-up she put on.She had never really regained her wight from first year. She was always that little bit underweight but it had never been a problem..till now.Since she didn't weigh the average weight, whenever she lost a bit it looked like she had lost loads and it was more unhealthy for her to lose weight. She had lost a considerable amount and she probably did look ill and she felt those glances, the whispers from some of the students. Most of them had seen the way she had been in second year and most had presumed her to be anorexic or bullimic, doctors still didn't know what happened her. They said it was probably a mental thing.People obviously suspected that she was returning to that state, with her losing weight.Kate didn't really care, she had gotten used to it and she tried her best to eat because she didn't want a repeat of second year but it was just so hard to stuff down food that she didn't want to eat. When she did actually eat sometimes it would just all come back up.So it had been hard for her to absorb all the vitamins and minerals. One of the reasons she went outside was to get one vitamin, vitamin D.She reasoned that if she at least got one vitamin she wouldn't be as bad.The hardest times were after panic attacks because she always felt so weak and the only way she would get better was by eating.Kate wasn't exactly enjoying life at the minute and she hoped after the holidays she would be good.

Kate smiled, she liked oreos and after such a terrible panic attack and migrane Kate was going to need all the energy she could get no matter what her stomach did.Chocolate was great for energy though she wasn't sure if it was real chocolate it would be sugar none the less. "Yes please"Kate said smiling

Hogwarts wasn't so bad. At least that's what Chris kept on telling himself as he did not want to go back to the crappy school his mother had enrolled him even before he started going to Hogwarts. Chris is supposed to be Fourth Year now. If his mother hadn't waited for his two younger sisters he would probably be Kate's classmate now. But no, his mother has to wait until Emerald and Crystal turn eleven and they can all go to Hogwarts together. The days would probably be better if Chris only understood his subjects and most especially if Emerald hadn't come along. You see, the two aren't really the best of friends or even siblings for that matter. It's not like they hate each other, they just always fights with the simplest reasons. Crystal is a lot better by the way. The only problem is she's very sensitive. She's a nice person despite her gigantism. Chris smirked at the thought of this. He should really pay attention to what was going on and start drifting away from his "Neverland". Chris reached out his hands for Kate to grab a cookie. Artemis seem to not like what Chris was offering. Chris just shrugged when she refused to take the cookies. After Kate took a cookie, Chris put the plastic back into his pockets and folded his robes up to look at his watch. The current time was :cry:50 P.M. Chris won't be seeing Crystal until 4:00 so ten minutes of more chit-chat would be appropriate at this time. he folded his robes back and payed his attention back to the girls.

The sight of the cookie in front of her was not really a pleasing sight and so Artemis rejected it. Its appearance was strange and she rarely saw those cookies. She knew about them, but she really was not fond of them just like the others. The sweetness of it was nothing compared to the sweets that the wizards have but it was exceptionally delicious for some people who appreciate the muggle world. Sugar made Artemis a bit hyperactive and she never tried to indulge herself in such sweets. Some were fine but she only took it every two or three days the most. The white stuffing inside it was the sweetest part and it contained the most sugar compared to the two others, which was black colored with a the words, 'Oreo.' Artemis watched Kate as she took a cookie and left her gaze on her. It was could be awkward for the all of them, because of one of the strangest incidents that the Slytherin has ever encountered in her twelve years of existence. Kate Moon was something very interesting, not just because of her appearance but because of something that she held inside her. It was strangely the illness but there was something more Kate held in her. The blonde tried abandoning the thoughts about her female companion as she looked up to face Kate. Artemis sensed the looking up of Christopher and momentarily looked at him, before even looking back at the ground again.

Artemis looked at Kate's wounded hands again and grimaced. The sight of wounds pained her and she really hated it if she would bear some because of the some accident or any rough game that she has been through. Quidditch was always a lovely addiction but the blonde was still terrified about the fact that she could get harmed there, unconsciously or consciously. Either would go awful, so she tried refraining to think about it. Artemis Jackson was one Slytherin who would always laze around, but there was still the same determination inside her that Slytherins had when it came to competition. "Does it hurt, Kate?" Her voice still had the same fear that it contained a while ago. Artemis was scared. Scared that the wounds would rip apart and blood would flow. The fear was somehow strange for the blonde and she tried to hide it. Her specialty was always to cover her emotions properly, yet she blood scared her to hell. Darkness too, but blood was worse. Her anger can be covered by happiness or boredom but her true emotions were buried deep in her. "I mean, the wounds..." Artemis added a little more statement to let Kate know what she was talking about.

Kate was feeling drained,it wasn't an unusual feeling for the brunette. It wasn't a nice one either and she hated the fact she cold never really get ride of the feeling because she couldn't really eat with out it all coming back up again.Times weren't good for Kate but she knew she would be able to get through it.She had come through second year she was gonna get through fourth year.,Even for a puff she was determined.People always had the view that Hufflepuffs were happy, bubbly, sensitive and had no real talents and that's why they were in Hufflepuff but Kate didn't agree they mightend be the smartest, bravest or most cunning but they were just as loyal, not to over confident and can be cunning when they want to.They are also determined and one of the best people for comforting and will probably be one of your best friends. No house was exactly the same as their stereotype, they were mixed and every single one of them had the goods and bads.

Kate nibbled the Oreo and it took a few minutes for her taste buds to react.Kate hadn't eaten something sweet in ages and the last food her taste buds had tasted hadn't been so nice.Kate finished the Oreo and wiped the crumbs off her clothes. She looked up at Artemis when she spoke.Kate was momentarily confused as to which incident Artemis was talking about but nodded when she was told. The cuts were grand, they were only a few scratches now and all the blood was gone. "They're grand"Kate said smiling weakly. She felt bad for frighting the girl. She knew how bad those sort of fears were, she had a rather unusual one herself but nobody knew about it and she would like to keep it that way as they would probably think it was extremely weird fear. "How are you feeling now?"
