Abbey has dark brown hair, her hair is usually in loose curls or straightened nicely. Abbey is very short for her age, is skinnier then most people should actually be. She also had bright violet eyes, that show her emotions clearly. Abbey has to use glasses to read, but she only wears them then, she thinks that it makes her look bad, but her face suits them.

Asher Lurken: Asher and Abbey met last year for the first time, they actually didn't know that the other existed. Asher is 3 years older then Abbey is. They became inseparable, until Asher came to Hogwarts New Zealand for the TriWizard Tournament. She hasn't seen her since then, and fears that she is dead.

Abbey is now living on the streets because she cannot stay at her orphanage any longer, she hates it there. The only good thing about her orphanage was Mrs. Cajou but she died and someone took it over and has resumed beating the girls.

Potions and Transfiguration are her best school subjects because she enjoyed having Professor Mortis teach her. She seemed to thrive in Transfiguration for no reason at all, she doesn't enjoy the class much though,

Astronomy is Abbey's worst subject because she feels it is a pointless class and doesn't try.

1.Do you have a middle name? If yes, what? Abbey doesn't know, her parents died when she was three months, so she has a lot of wholes in her life that she cannot answer.
2.Did you inherit your violet eyes from your parents? Yes, all of the girls on the Hurley family have violet eyes.
3.Where did Abbey first meet her sister? Abbey met Asher in her first year, in the Slytherin common room, they were about to get into a fight because of the confusion on the last names, they both did not want to believe it.
3.What made you call your kitten Cassius? Abbey loves English literature, Cassius also means vain.. that is what her kitten is.
4.How did Mrs. Cajou die? Abbey doesn't know, but the truth is that she got in a duel and she passed away tragically.
5.Why would your patronus be a wolf? Abbey wishes she was in a pack of some sort, as she has always been alone, it would make sense to have that be it.
6.Why would her animagus be a tiger? Abbey is weak, tigers are strong, she wants to be strong to make her parents proud of her, and say that she has been through everything wrong in her life with as much poise as possible.

1. I am not ashamed of my name at all, I just prefer Abbey sometimes, my full name reminds me of someone I was very close to back in Godric's Hollow, and I don't want any ties to that dreadful place any longer.

2. I am so proud that I inherited my violet eyes from my Mom but I really could do with out the constant questions and quizzical stares.

3. I do see them as a disadvantage when I want to lie, but other then that it's really nothing.

4. They are thick black rimmed glasses.

5. She needs them to read and nothing esle.

6. Abbey did but now I'm undecided if I will especially after all the abuse she went through.

7. They were murdered by Aurors because they had ran away, they were supposed to go to Azkaban.

12. Mrs. Cajou was like Abbey's mother, she was the closest person she had, she had also known her parents from school. Not to mention the fact that Mrs. Cajou shared everything about the wizarding world with her.

14. Abbey ran away from the orphanage because the man that took over the orphanage abused all the girls and Abbey had enough of it.

For a long time( 3 months until 12 years old) Abbey lived in an orphanage in Godric's Hollow. When Mrs. Cajou died and was replaced she returned from her first year at Hogwarts to see that all of the other girls were being abused. She was as well, so she ran away to the last place her sister had been seen, New Zealand, with the help of a kindly witch who apparated her over. During that winter and until October she lived on the streets and stole and begged for food, under the alias, Shailenne. This past winter Abbey was adopted by her Aunt Noelle after spending a month on the streets.
