FULL NAME: Aaren Charley Nightray
Aaren - Hebrew - Variant of the name Aaron meaning mountain of strength
Charley - Italian - Variant of Charlie meaning valiant, free

NICKNAMES: Ren / Char / Ali

DATE OF BIRTH: 15th day of March 2021

BLOOD STATUS: - Pure Blood

SCHOOL AND HOUSE: Hogwarts New Zealand, Gryffindor

WAND: Curly 15 Inch Flexible Alder Wand with Meteorite Dust Core
THIS CAROUSEL TAKES US ROUND AND ROUND
THIS LABYRINTH OF LIFE, YOU CAN'T TELL UP FROM DOWN
BASIC DESCRIPTION: Aaren has milky white skin, contributed to the fact that she rarely leaves home. She has grey/green eyes which were full of spirit and her mouth was sweet-lipped and expressive. She is slim, and is quite small for girls her age, which greatly disappoints her mother as she thought that she looked too much like a child instead of a proper lady that she should be. Her hair, which is red in color, sticks up in various places and refuses to stay in one place, which could be quite infuriating especially when she's trying to make herself look presentable. She usually keeps her hair in two loose pig tails or braids.

POSTURE: Aaren's upbringing had taught her how to carry herself gracefully. She has proper posture, not slouched, but not overly stiffed.

CLOTHING PREFERENCE: Aaren's wardrobe is mostly chosen by her mother, as the latter seemed to be keen on dictating her life. Thus, she mostly wears dresses and skirts. However, she does have a couple of shirts, pants, and shorts which she mostly uses during her free day and when she's away from home.

HAVING SO MUCH FUN, IT'S ONLY JUST BEGUN

WELCOME TO THIS WILD MAZE OF LIFE

CURRENT DREAM IN LIFE: To make her parents proud- Aaren had always respected her parents, but often, she disappoints them as fails to reach their absurdly high standards. She often gets compared to her other cousins, and being the oldest child, even to her younger brothers. She hated it, and wanted to make her parents see that she has her own worth too. She wanted to see them smile at her direction and tell her how proud they were that she was their child.

LONG TERM GOAL: To work in the ministry, perhaps to become an auror- Aaren is idealistic. Committed to the highest moral standards, she wanted to help in the advancement of the wizarding community.

SHORT TERM GOAL: To graduate- Aaren is on her fourth year. She still had ways to go and she wanted to finish with flying colors. While not one for competition, she wanted to do better in her studies. It is the first step for her to make her parents proud.

THIS CAROUSEL SPINS US ROUND SO MUCH

SOMETIMES YOU DON'T KNOW, SHOULD YOU STAY, OR SHOULD YOU GET OFF?

HOBBIES: Aaren loves to read and draw. She loves to sing too.

SPENDING FREE-TIME: One could mostly find her with her nose in a book, or with paint all over her clothes. Despite being raised into a proper lady, Aaren is quite wild at heart. She loves to run around and climb up trees, even while wearing dresses, which is constantly frown upon by her mother. She does it when no one could see her. She loves flying too, and had initially hoped to be on their quidditch team.

SPENDING NON-FREE TIME: Studying. Aaren is determined to catch up on her classes.

QUIRKS: Aaren has this unusual habit of checking her horoscope everyday. She believes that having her lucky item for the day would indeed make her lucky. She would feel really disjointed if she would fail to have her lucky item close to her. She also has the habit of naming things.

THIS CAROUSEL SPINS INSIDE OUR MINDS

THIS LABYRINTH OF LIFE, YOU CAN'T TELL WRONG FROM RIGHT
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Living a life that is closely monitored, Aaren's personality is greatly influenced by her parents. Yet, having a completely different mind of her own, she still has her own beliefs and opinions that were contrary to her parents'. Coming from a family of pure bloods, Aaren's parents deemed that they were far superior from the other wizards, they also hated muggles and half-breeds, and they constantly tries to drill the same opinion on the redhead's head. However, Aaren thinks otherwise, in fact, she was greatly fascinated with everything that has to do with muggles, whether they be muggle-borns or real non-magical folks. She doesn't really dwell that much in the fact that she came from one of the remaining pure blood families and is far from being a blood supremacist. Maybe it was because of her young age that her view of the world was still innocent, but she believes that blood status shouldn't define one's self. However, she wouldn't really voice out this opinion as most of her family members were elitists.

She's sheltered, with her parents constantly monitoring her actions. As she grew up, she learned to seek for independence. But being still young, she was afraid of disobeying her parents. This had caused a dilemma for the young girl. She wanted to be her own person, yet she didn't want to disappoint her parents too. And thus, she learned to alter her personality to suit the liking of her mother and father.

Call her pretentious, but the Aaren that she shows in front of her family was different with the Aaren that she wears when outside their manor. At home, she is a reserved little girl who obeys what her parents tell her to do. She's careful with her words as she would often be scolded whenever she talks too much. She's more guarded whenever she's at their house. Under the watchful eyes of her parents, Aaren had learned that she had to be a perfect and elegant young lady.

Outside their house and away from her parents, Aaren is a completely different person. She's more cheerful and is more at ease. It could be said that she is her real self when she's away from her mother and father. Surrounded by people outside her family, Aaren acts and talks the way she wanted to. She loves to speak whatever that is on her mind to the point of being brutally honest. She fights for what she believes in even if that end would not be good for her. She's really friendly too, seeking to have friends as she hadn't got one at home. She's pretty observant too though it is fairly easy for her to lose her focus on things. Away from her house, Aaren is just a stubborn, passionate, and carefree little girl that she really is.

MOST PROMINENT PERSONALITY TRAIT: Stubborn, Extroverted, Optimistic

STRENGTHS: Except from her parents, Aaren loves to fight for her beliefs and is not afraid to show it. She loves speaking her mind whenever she has the chance to (this is because when at home, she had had to be very careful when speaking). She is very intelligent when it comes to academics and people. It's easy for her to adapt herself to situations and to talk to other people. She doesn't tolerate cheating and lying. She has a fairly good memory too and is good at remembering names and special occasions.

WEAKNESSES: Aaren loves and hates with equal fervor. She can be a loyal friend and hold lifelong alliances but she can also keep yearlong grudges. She is also quite talkative to the point of being annoying. She is excitable and at the same time, it's also quite easy for her to lose her interest on things. Despite being honest and not liking lying, she can be quite pretentious. Wearing different masks and altering her personality which stemmed from her fear of disappointing her parents once she acted on her own opinions and beliefs, she often feels disappointed with herself and would often lose her sense of self amidst the entire pretense. She also has some abandonment issues, and thus, despite her being a friendly individual over all, she's afraid of commitment.

MBTI: ENFP - The Inspirer- Like most ENFPS, Aaren is warm and enthusiastic. She lives in the world of possibilities, and thus, it is easy for her to get excited and passionate about things. Like the other ENFPs, Aaren can be very energetic and convincing, thus, she has her way to persuade other people to join her cause. She loves life, and strives to live every day like it is the last. As an ENFP, Aaren is also very emotional and sensitive, which can cause her a lot of stress as she often over analyzes people's actions.

ENNEAGRAM: Average Type 2 -The Helper- Like most average type 2s, Aaren generally puts others first. She is considerate, and sensitive to the needs of others, particularly her loved ones.

WESTERN ZODIAC: -Pisces- Pisces is a sign symbolized by two fishes swimming towards diferent directions. This signifies how those who were born under this sign were frequently torn between two pathways in life. This also depicts how Aaren lives two very different existences at the same time. The her that she shows at school is different from the one that she shows in front of her parents. Pisceans are perceptive, emotional, and highly sensitive. Pisceans are also restless individuals, not being satisfied with just sitting around and had to constantly do something.

EASTERN ZODIAC: -Ox- Born under the year of the Ox, Aaren is loyal and very caring. She also lives up to the saying 'stubborn as an ox'. Like most people born under the same sign, she is easy-going and agreeable. She also prefers simple clothes with little jewelry.

HOMETOWN: New Forest, Hampshire, Southern England

CURRENT RESIDENCE: New Forest, Hampshire, Southern England - Aaren and her family used to live separately from the rest of the Nightrays, however, after Mikael's and Elizabeth's death, they moved to the main house.

NATIONALITY: -

FINANCIAL STATUS: -

BACK STORY: Born to Francesca Nightray and Eddard Ylmaz, Aaren was the first child in the family of five. Eddard Ylmaz, a Turkish wizard who worked for the ministry, had married Francesca on the 15th day of March, 2020. As per the Nightray tradition, and as Francesca's family's financial status was greater than the Ylmazs, Eddard married into the Nightray family and adopted his wife's surname. Both Francesca and Eddard wanted their first born to be a boy, and had already thought of a name that they'd be giving their first born son, Aaron. Thus, it was a great disappointment when they learned that they'd be having a daughter. Saddened and displeased, Francesca didn't even bother to think of another name for their soon to be daughter. It was only her brother and his wife then, Mikael and Annika, who had altered the girl's name into Aaren, still maintaining the couple's originally planned name and just altering it to suit their daughter's.

Both Francesca and Eddard had low expectations for their daughter, as they deemed her incapable of succeeding the family, primarily because of her gender. However, after constant attempts of having another child, they soon gave up and had shifted their attention to the then three year old girl. They had imposed impossibly strict rules and had enrolled her in various classes far beyond her age. Her mother, being a strict and uptight woman, brought her up to be a fine young lady, constantly scolding her whenever she makes mistakes. The girl was first overjoyed when her parents finally gave her the attention that she wanted, but she soon found herself drowning in their expectations. She'd constantly cry herself to sleep whenever her mother would scold her and whenever she sees her father frowning at her failures. It was what hurts her the most. She could take her mother's lectures and harsh words, but her father's silence kills her. She continuously attempts to make them proud. She was a good painter, and she could play instruments well. She learned how to read when she was only four, but those small feats were not enough to earn her a pat on the head or even a mere smile from her parents.

She was six when she first heard her mother laughing. It was on a cold winter night, she woke up, unable to sleep, and as she passed her parents' room, she could hear warm laughter inside. Being a child full of curiosity, she opened the door and found the most peculiar sight. It was her mother, smiling like she had never seen her before. With her straight silky hair and rosy complexion, she looked beautiful. Ethereal even. Lifting her up was her father who was also smiling. He looked like he had aged backwards. The lines on his face wasn't that visible anymore, and his lips, which were always on a thin line, was curving upwards into a smile. And he was laughing, and the young girl thought that it sounded like music to her ears. It was the first time that she had seen them like that. And then she was crying, crying like she never did before. Her cries only grew louder when her mother hugged her. For as long as her six year old mind could remember, this was a first. And despite the cold weather and the snow outside, she felt warmer than she ever did before. And she wished that it could last forever.

She soon learned that their family would be growing. She overheard it from their servants. And she was excited. Rarely did she ever had the chance to play with kids her age as her parents wanted her to stay inside the house and study as much as possible. She was overjoyed, she wanted to have a sister whom she can dress up and play with. A brother wouldn't be bad too. She just wanted to have her own siblings.

Her mother grew sick however. Apparently, it seemed like she couldn't handle the pregnancy. Her six year old mind couldn't really understand it, but she cried and kicked when her grandparents' servants brought her to the main house. It was there where she met her other cousins and where she first learned how to be independent. She began having her own likes and dislikes, and even began playing with her cousins, even though they were far different than her. She began having opinions and beliefs of her own, and it was in the Nightray manor's enormous library where she first learned about the existence of muggles.

It was a year later when she saw her parents again. They didn't age one bit though they appeared happier than before. It was also only then that she first saw her brothers. Green eyes lay on two young cherubs, and her small arms tried to reach for them and carry them. She had thought that her life would change for the better then. She had her own wants now, and her parents looked happier, she had two younger brothers too. However, as months passed, and as the twins grew, she found that it didn't. Her parents' attentions were always focused on the two younger boys. Despite her young age, she tried to understand. Even she couldn't take her attention away from them. They were her precious little brothers.

Years later and it was still the same. She still had her etiquette classes to attend to; she still had her music lessons and language classes. But this time around, the expectation wasn't that heavy anymore. She was still being scolded every time she failed to act like a proper lady should be, she'd still be reprimanded every time she talks too much, but it was only to that extent. She thought she would be happier, as her parents had finally let her leash longer and given her some freedom, even though she was still like a caged bird. She was indeed, but at the same time, she wasn't. For with her parents lifting their pressure on her a little, went the little attention that they were giving her before. No longer did her father look over her papers, no longer did her mother watch over her classes, their attention were all drawn toward their sons. She envied them and she hated herself for feeling that way. She loved her brothers greatly, but still, she wished that the smiles and the proud look that her parents would so often send their ways would someday be directed to her too.
