Valeria didn't often come down to the dungeons she had no real reason to perhaps beyond Ares. She didn't mind slytherin and to a degree now knew that she probably would've been a good slytherin. But she felt a little out of place in the dungeons in her flowery dress and pink rose styled into her hair. She was outside the slytherin area and called out as loudly as she could without actually shouting, "Natalia Novak!"

red rose for natalia novak

Natalia was on he way to the common room, her written essay under her arm as she just came from the library. She frowned when she heard someone call her name. It was an unfamiliar girl. "What is it?" She asked, coming to a stop near her.

Valeria gave a little smile at the girl who stopped, the girl didn't seem to friendly, but she smiled anyway. "I have a rose for you," She took out the red rose and the note and held it out to the girl.

Thinking of you...

Natalia's frown deepened when the girl produced a red rose. Her stomach dropped, she knew there was no one at Hogwarts who would send her that. Maybe her sister, but even that she doubted very much. Natalia took one look at the note, then crumpled it in her fist. This had to either be a joke or a mistake. "Thanks." She said though she sounded angry rather than grateful.

Valeria watched the girl as she took the rose and didn't seem that happy by it. This was a first for her, all the people she'd interacted with liked their roses. were happy for the rose, but this girl crumpled a note and though she said thanks despite not being happy. "Want to talk about it?" Valeria offered, she was sure this girl would say no, but it didn't hurt to ask at least.

Natalia frowned as the girl asked a question. She looked down her nose at her. "Why would I want to talk to a stranger?" She snapped. "Please go away now." The rose had made her feel uneasy, and she glanced around. Surely this had to be a joke.

Valeria was not surprised at the reaction she got and just gave a little roll of her eyes. "Talking to someone is better than no one, but suit yourself," Val told her. She turned and began walking away, she wouldn't stick around if the girl didn't want her to. "Happy Valentine's day Natalia," she called out.
