Natalia suspected her parents wanted her to be seen more and more in wizarding society, as she noticed they were taking every opportunity to bring her to one of the wizarding villages scattered across town. Today it wasn't her parents, but her nanny who had brought her. But Natalia knew who told her what to do. She thought her parents were hoping she would run into the right sort of person, a child from one of the important wizarding families in new zealand. But so far, she hadn't spotted any. Waiting outside a store her nanny visiting, Natalia's gaze moved to the window display of Honeydukes. She knew her sister would be pressing her nose against the window if she was here, but Natalia had more self control than that. She would just... look, and maybe take a few steps closer.

It was starting to seem like Salem might be spending a lot more time in New Zealand now, with even talk about it being permanent. Trying to stay positive, Salem was looking for more interesting things to do around Brightstone, excitedly spotting a girl about her age looking in a shop window. "Do you think they have exploding lemonade here?" Salem said, joining the girl by the window and peering in. It looked mostly like sweets and stuff, but you never knew sometimes. Lemonade was sweet. More so when it exploded, and a lot of restaurants and stuff didn't like serving it.

Natalia had been inching closer to the window display, and jumped when someone suddenly spoke to her. She felt caught, and glanced around to see if her nanny had returned. But instead, it was another girl. Natalia wasn't entirely sure how to speak to her without knowing what family she was from. But at her question, she blurted out an answer unthinkingly. "Why would anyone want that?"

Salem turned to the girl, puzzled. "Cause it explodes?"

Natalia turned up her nose at the girl's response, crossing her arms. "That is childish." She declared. "And stupid." Really, who would want a drink that exploded?

Salem looked at the girl, still confused by her response. "But it's fun! It gets everywhere," She said, grinning. "Plus the explosion makes it all fizzy and bubbly," She added. "Why wouldn't you like it? Aren't you a child too?"

Natalia didn't disguise the look of distaste she gave the other girl, who was clearly extremely immature. "That's disgusting." She said coldly. "And stupid." She rolled her eyes. "I wouldn't like it because I'm not stupid. Only little kids like that sort of thing."

Salem snorted at the look on the other girl's face. Clearly she wasn't a fan of exploding lemonade, like most adults. How boring. "More for me," She said happily, peering back at the window. "Alright then, what do grown up kids like you like then?" Salem asked, looking back at the girl.

Natalia wished the girl would just take the hint and leave her alone. How much did she have to tell her the things she liked were stupid before she would just leave? She didn't even seem offended by it, and Natalia didn't get it. She frowned at her next question, then huffed. "Maybe you'll find out once you stop being a baby." She said coolly.

Salem scrunched up her face at the girl's response. She hoped all New Zealand kids weren't this boring. "I bet like the gross stuff, like acid pops. Or cockroach clusters, eeew," She said, poking out her tongue at the girl and laughing before moving to the shop door. It seemed like she was better off just going inside and trying things herself than hanging out with this snooty girl.

Natalia couldn't help pulling a face at the things the girl suggested. "What? No." She said, crossing her arms. "Normal things. Like chocolate." She said. "Things that don't explode." Great, now she wanted chocolate. And she knew it was unlikely that she would get any, even if she asked.
