The corridors of Hogwarts was buzzing with students as each of them hurried out to the Great Hall for dinner. Lilyanna had previously been studying in the Library when she realised her Herbology textbook was missing and she was not giving up until she found it. With her bookbag full of all her other textbooks clutched tightly in both hands, she tried to hurry through the third floor corridor, all the while looking to see if she had dropped her textbook on the way to the library. But there was no luck. Students were walking everywhere, heading in both directions, which didn't give Lilyanna much opportunity to search. Better yet, the Slytherin could not cope with the crowd of people and she felt her head begin to hurt and her hands begin to shake as she moved to sit against the wall, her hands cupped around her ears, not knowing what to do. Someone had stolen her textbook and, when Lilyanna found out who it was, they were going to feel sorry for it. The girl simply continued to sit there as she waited for the group of people to pass. She felt eyes on her but she didn't care and closed her eyes, counting back from 50 in her head, trying her best not to explode.

Lennon was just leaving his Charms classroom and was debating whether to head down to the great hall for lunch or go work on the paper in the newsroom. As he was leaving class and walking down the corridor slowly to contemplate his options, he noticed Lilyanna across the hallway. He was going to smile and wave at her but he couldn't seem to catch her eye because he could tell she was looking for something. But then she suddenly stopped searching and slid down the wall to sit. Lennon stopped walking and watched for a second and once he concluded that the girl seemed to be distressed, he decided to go over to her. "Hey Lilyanna, are you okay?" he said cautiously, crouching down beside her so she could hear him. "It's me, Lennon," he added for clarification because her eyes were closed shut.

Lilyanna was only up to the number 33 when she sensed someone coming closer to her. She recognised the voice instantly as Lennon's but he still said his name for clarification. Slowly, Lilyanna lowered her hands and opened her eyes. She didn't care that she was interrupted from her counting by Lennon and looked up at him, wondering why he was so concerned. Despite this, Lilyanna was glad it was him and not anyone else that had spoken to her. "My Herbology Textbook..." she said, taking a deep breath. "It's gone." She wasn't particularly sure if Lennon would care that she wasn't able to do any Herbology work anymore, but she told him nonetheless as if he would as that was the truth and there was nothing else really to say. The Slytherin wiped her eyes with her sleeves and looked around at the people. They were slowly going away and she hoped they would all be gone soon.

Lennon was glad that Lilyanna pulled her hands away from her face so she could see him and smiled at her reassuringly. He wasn't sure what was going on but when she mentioned her Herbology textbook was gone, he glanced around them and figured she had been looking for it. "Do you want me to help you find it?" he asked her, already beginning to look around the hall for it. "Where is the last place you saw it?" he asked her patiently. He could tell it meant a lot to her if she was crying but he was not one to judge. Finding a textbook couldn't be so hard so he was glad to help her out.

One thing Lilyanna hated was having to get help from others. But this was an entirely different circumstance and it wasn't like Lennon was offering to help her study once they found the textbook. And so Lilyanna nodded, using her hands to help her get back up off the floor. "I don't know..." she replied in response to the question. She knew exactly where she was before this and when she had seen it but her mind was so focused on getting the book now that she didn't care to think of where it was last. "I looked in the library, dormitory and common room. I don't go much place else." The Slytherin wiped a tear on her face and looked over at Lennon, wondering if he had any idea of where it could be.

Lennon stood up with Lilyanna as she pushed herself up as well. He was glad that she at least stopped crying and managed to get up so they could search properly. "Don't worry, we'll find it," he said with a smile at her. "Should we retrace your steps, to make sure you didn't overlook it?" he asked. He didn't want her to think maybe she hadn't looked right so then another thought came to mind. "Do you think you left it in the Herbology greenhouse after class?" he considered. He was glad he was done for the day so he could help her look for it until they found it. He always knew Lilyanna to be incredibly strong and independent so he didn't like seeing her down like this.
