A Special Place

"They are but I don't really like drawing landscapes!" she said opening her sketch book and showing Ellie the latest picture of a wolf that she was really proud of. "Thats what I like to draw!" she said laughing at the sight of the wolf. It looked in a ferocious stance but its face was sad, calm even human...
 
Ellie laughed and looked at the picture Harri was showing her, "Wow, Harri thats awesome" She told her in awe as she looked at the fox! It looked so life-like and Ellie thought it might jump out of the page at her any minute!
 
"Thanks!" Harri said proudly "I do prefere drawing people though!" she siad smiling "I think I'm better at them, I'm trying to stop making them so cartoony and more realistic!" she said "Could I ask your opinion on this?" she asked pointing to the picture of Emma, it had been copied from a photo which was tacked to the side of the paper. She was really proud of this picture and thought it was quite a good similarity.
 
Ellie grinned and looked at the picture Harri was pointing to, she knew that it must be Emma!
Her eyes flicking between the real photograph and Harri's drawing, she was gobsmacked! "Harri, this is amazing, it has to be the best of the ones ive seen! You should be really proud, i cant even see a difference in them!" She told Harri truthfully!
 
Harri blushed with pride "Thanks Ellie!" she said and hugged here, it was nice to no that she was good at something!
 
"Your welcome, you have a real talent there! Is there some sort of competition you can enter?" Ellie asked with a grin, as Harri hugged her and she hugged her back.
 
Harri smiled "I'm not sure!" she said honesetly "But I don't think I'm good enough for competitions just yet!" she said laughing and thinking she would have to get in a bit more practise before even thinking about entering.
