The day had finally drawn to a close and the last of the patients in the Hospital Wing had been cleared to once more attend to their dorms; retiring for the evening. Whilst she had the help of the other nurses on duty, today truly had proven to be her busiest day in the last few; since her arrival at Hogwarts. True enough, the pace of the day had nothing on her time at St. Mungo's, however, there was no denying that she had not expected Hogwarts to have much to offer in respect to injured students. Alas, with Quidditch only continuing to grow in popularity and more and more mischievous students solving their quarrels with violence instead of using their words - Lada had been inundated all day.
Making up the last used bed and flicking her finger in the direction of the washing basket to deposit any dirty bedding with her wandless magic, Lada headed for her office, setting herself down slowly into her chair and letting out a relieved sigh as she felt the weight and pain that had plagued her legs, feet and back all day finally feel some relief. She rested her head against the head rest of her chair, closing her eyes for a moment as she enjoyed the silence and the smell of the roses she had been gifted by one of her patients. Though, it had been the sound of footsteps tracking down the hallway that had brought her to awaken once more.
Offering a glance at her office door, she waited patiently for the source of the noise to show themselves, sliding her glasses off of the bridge of her nose and allowing them to dangle from the chord that held them around her neck.
"Please tell me zat you are not here with an injury. Zhere is only so much a Russian mother can take." she joked to whomever had entered, though her dry tone saying that she was speaking the truth. "Come in, sit. It does not matter either which way of if you are here for healing or something else. I will help you za best zat I can." she assured, leaning forward on her desk, hands clasped in front of her as she waited to hear what her company had needed of her.
