🌹 Rose Giving A Pocket Full of Sunshine

January was having a lot of fun with her basket full of roses. She was pleased that today was turning out just as exciting as she had hoped. It was hard not to let the buzz of excitement put an extra pep to her step even as she went outside to find the next person on her list. She didn't know him but recognized him as a boy from her year which at least gave her a place to start. The sun was bright and it felt nice as she walked through the grass even if she had to bring her hand up to shield her eyes to make out who was out on the grass. Finally she found who she was looking for and nearly skipped over to him. "Lewis!" she said a bit breathlessly. "I have a rose for you!"

"January!" Like the month! he grinned when he saw the blond approaching and was even happier when she said she had a rose for him. "Oh! Who's it from? Wait no, don't read it, I can do that," he said holding his hand out for it. It was so nice on the lawns, he should have been on the Quidditch team and then he could spend even more time out here.​
