A Picnic!

Anna layed down her blue and red checkerboard blanket. She straightned it out then plopped down on one corner of it. She dropped her small basket of food in the middle of the picnic blanket and pulled out a peanutbutter-and-jelly sandwich and an apple. She took a bite out of the PB and J and waited for more people to join her.
 
"NO!!!" Anna screamed furiously, "I can't believe you even bothered asking!!! You're HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!" Anna glared for a few moments then couldn't hold it in any longer. She burst out laughing, nearly choking on her PB and J. "Nah I'm just joking. Come sit, take a sandwich. I've got all kinds!" Anna said still giggling a bit, "I really can't believe you asked though. I mean, your best friend! Why WOULDN'T I let you join me!?!"
