Kiera Potter turned her head to look up at the private villa that she and her husband were renting for their honeymoon. It had been a wedding gift from her father since it was the same place he had taken her mother when they were married. Kiera knew her relationship with James would be nothing like her parents. She was dressed in a bikini, trying to soak up some of the sun while she could. It would be cold when they both returned to New Zealand.

It was hard to believe that she was really married and everyone knew it. Her name was officially Kiera Potter to everyone instead of just her close friends and family. She couldn't be happier about it. A bright smile was a constant feature on her face. It was impossible to stop it when she was around her husband, not that she wanted to.

The sun was high in the air as Kiera held a large quilt and wicker basket in her arms. She had packed a picnic basket for herself and James in hopes that he would want to take a walk to the waterfall. She one of his shirts on over her suit. Kiera took of her shoes as she waited for James, squishing her toes in the sand.

James began walking up with two cold drinks in his hands, the locals had looked at the couple weird considering they were so young and yet were staying at a private villa. James had left his wand up in his room considering he was ready for a nice muggle like vacation with no magic as long as you didn't count the magic between himself and his wife that was. James was wearing maroon swimming trunks and flip flops that matched, it was nice to be walking in the warm sun without a care in the world. James wouldn't be starting off the next Quidditch season in about a week which gave him and Kiera the perfect amount of time to spend with each other completely uninterrupted.

"Good morning babe" James said with a smile as he handed his beautiful wife her drink along with a kiss as he sat in his own lounge chair and began to sip his drink bathing in the warm sun as though it was just another day in his life. "So what do you want to do today?" James asked as he turned and looked over at Kiera who was only a few inches away, he had yet to tell her about the wedding present he had gotten for her but hadn't decided on when he was going to divulge the secrete just yet. James had impressed even himself by being able to keep such a big gift a secrete for so long but knew that when he finally told his new wife what he'd gotten she would be more then pleased.

Kiera grinned as her husband came walking towards her, enjoying the view. James had a nice body from all his Quidditch training. She smiled slyly at him as she accepted the drink from him. "Thank you and good morning to you too." she said, with a quick kiss on his cheek. Kiera took a sip of her drink as James slid into his chair. She had one beside him but she decided to take a different seat. Kiera slipped into James' lap, wrapping her free arm around his neck.

"Well, I thought you might like to take a walk up to the waterfall with me. I packed a lunch and everything." Kiera suggested, pointing to the basket sitting in the sand. The one time she had gone into to town, a few locals had recognized her since she had won two gold medals and two silver medals at the Olympic games that August. After signing a few autographs, she had been informed that the most romantic spot in the surrounding area was the waterfall only a short hike away.
