A night at the lawn

Kirsty walked out to the lawn, it was a nice night. The stars were shining and the moon was out. Kirsty took a seat on the grass and looked out at the view, she noticed the trees were all frosted and some of the grass was too.

Ellie had just finished her dinner in the great hall when she decided to go a walk around the Lawn, she hadn't been there in a while. It was a lovely night, with shining stars and a bright moon, and it took Ellie a while to realise she was freezing! Pulling the sleeves of her Gryffindor jumper down over her hands, Ellie began to pace around the Lawn. She didn't think there was anyone else there, until she spotted Kirsty sitting by herself on the frosty grass. "Hey" She said with a cheery smile. "Mind if I join you?".

Kirsty looked up to see Ellie who she hadnt seen in ages. " Hey, Yeah sure." She said smiling. " Are you glad to be back?" Kirsty asked as she started fiddiling with the grass. She didnt really know what had happened to Ellie but she was glad that she was back.

Ellie grinned and plopped herself down beside Kirsty. "Yeah, It's great to be back" She answered her before adding, "How have you been?".

" Im fine.What about you?" Kirsty asked smiling. " Why where you off so long?" She asked.
