Danielle sat in the gardens, with a small picnic set up for herself. She was eating brunch. She had some Bread & Butter. Some Lunchmeat. Sandwich Bread. Pepperoni, and some Homemade Cherry Juice. She had brought along 2 Gallons of it and decided, she needed to drink more of it. She had a blanket laid out, and was setting up everything. She laid out everything. She poured some Cherry Juice in a glass. It was peaceful out there, and Danielle liked it. She slowly took some pepperoni out and put it on her Salami Sandwich, people thought she was weird for eating that combination, but Danielle really didn't care much.

Willow made her way out to the Gardens, she was loving the gardens at the moment.
Spring was definitely here and here she was spending it in the sunshine. She loved the aromas of different flowers mixing together and just being in the presence of being near such beautiful flowers was good enough. She spotted her favorite Cherry Blossoms on a near by tree and the nearby daisies that were growing in many different colors.

She had a skip to her walk and was clutching her music journal - the journal in which she wrote out many of her compositions, she thought today was so lovely that she might as well compose something since she was feeling so cheerful.
Willow made her way to the Garden, she noticed a girl eating a picnic by herself; it was Danielle. She met only once and at the Moon's party. She smiled; "Danielle! How are you finding Hogwarts!" Willow spoke happiliy. Hoping the girl is having an enjoyable time.

As Danielle took a bit of her sandwich, she heard someone call her name, she wiped her face, with a napkin, and looked up. It was Willow. Willow was very nice, and Danielle respected her. "Oh, its great! Come sit!" Danielle said, smiling towards, Willow. Danielle had to admit - the peace was but, having a friend is even better. "So whats up? I got Gryffindor! L-I-O-N-S!" Danielle laughed. She was glad to have the same, house as Willow, because that was the only one of her friends, that were actually in Gryffindor.

Willow took a seat next to Danielle, sitting cross legged on the picnic blanket; She smiled at Danielle; "That's fantastic! Go Lions!" Willow giggled along. Willow just realized that Danielle was probably one of the two friends she has that's in the Gryffindor House. The other being Vayne - and he was a pretty good friend as well.
She noticed Danielle's brunch, what appeared to be a sandwich and a lot of cherry juice that seemed homemade as it contained a lot of pulp in the bottom. "How are you finding classes? Fun?" Willow laughed, of course the first years are going to find doing magic fun, but they'll also think it's boring 'coz they not doing anything practical. Willow remembered her potion class. Boy that was fun.

"Woo Hoo!" Danielle laughed. Danielle thought it was weird she had medical problems, when she seemed so, happy, it seemed like she was the peace between two countries, at war. "Fun absolutely! Boring at the beginning, of course, but I can expect them to get better." Danielle smiled. Danielle then noticed she hadn't asked Wilow, if she wanted any food "Oh, I'm sorry where are my manners? Would you like some, food, Homemade Cherry Juice, my town would buy them, for $3, They said their kids loved it, and its, actually mostly good for you, I added a bit of sugar, to make it sweet." Danielle smiled, picking it up, and putting it down.

Willow laughed; "Oh they definitely get better" She smiled and bent down to whisper; "Just whatever you do, when you get to your third potions lesson, don't drink the blue sparkly potion. Just. Don't." She gave Danielle a wink and started giggling. Willow was sure she could still feel the bruise on her head from levitating straight into the brick wall, still surprised she didn't break any bones or smash any of the potion bottles.

"Oh, no thank you! I mustn't intrude on your lunch. But I wouldn't mind having some cherry juice please." Willow smiled, it really was a wonderful day and Danielle seemed to be enjoying Hogwarts which was a good thing; "have you joined any of the student clubs?" Willow inquired.

"Yes! Me want to learn Magic." Danielle laughed. She had no idea what Willow was talking, about, when she whispered in her ear. "Wait What?" Danielle said confused. She was a little excited and scared. "No believe me your not intruding!" Danielle said as she opened the bottle of Cherry Juice, and poured some Juice into the cups. Danielle took a sip. She quickly put her hand to her mouth, and cringed. "Eww! Don't drink that. Don't." Danielle said shaking her head.

"Well, in your third lesson of potions, you're given a table full of mystery potions and you have to drink one. Some good, some not so good...you've been warned" Willow giggled. The memory was going to haunt her until her seventh year, she was pretty positive that it was going to come back to her at some sort of graduation memory segment thing.

Taking the cup from Danielle and smelled the cherry juice, it reminded her of summer and home, her lips were etching to taste that sweet fruit. Raising the glass to her lips, she noticed Danielle's expression changed and Willow placed the cup back down; "Whats wrong? Too much sugar? Bitter fruit?" Willow raised her eyebrow. Wondering if the Cherry Juice was really that bad.

"Oh. Jeez now you got me wanting to try it. Don't tell me what it does. Don't. Leave it a surprise." Danielle smiled. She was scared, but anxious, at the same time. She would probably try it, just to see what happens. Danielle thought the worst thing that could happen, was that she could turn into a spider. Danielle thought that she made it bad, but Danielle figured out what really happened. "Neither. Before I left, to go to New Zealand, I was making Cherry Juice, to drink when I got there. Now, My sister wanted my Magic, but she obviously couldn't have it. Anyways when I ran out of sugar, I asked her to get me some, but she got me salt instead, I can taste the salt. She must have changed the jars or something, because that is absolutely salt." Danielle said. As she said that she took out another glass, poured out some of the other Cherry Juice, in the other container, she tryed it and said, "Thats better!" Danielle then poured out another glass and gave Willow, the better Cherry Juice. "There you go. Now you can try it!"

Willow laughed; "Don't worry, it's completely safe. But make sure you stick around after you've drunk your potion. Watching everyone else can be kind of funny." She grinned, she had to admit - she probably made it sound more horrible than it sounded, but she wanted Danielle have a sense of surprise and anxiousness.

She listened to Danielle's explanation of the Cherry Juice, at the same time, she looked at the Cherry juice that was supposedly salty. She couldn't help but grin at her explanation. "Oh the salt and sugar mix up. My Aunt owns a bakery - I had to bake an emergency batch of cookies and well. Salt and sugar got mixed up. You can figure out the rest i'm sure. Luckily, the customers found it funny since it was april fools day." Willow's grin grew wider, it was a funny situation even though her Aunt didn't find it funny at all, Willow was blessed to be serving nice and understanding customers.
She watched as Danielle poured another glass of Cherry juice. Curiously, she sipped on the first glass of Cherry Juice that she was given; "Woaah. That is Salty!" Willow laughed as she placed the glass down and sipped on the second glass - it was sweet, pulpy and fruity. The taste of summery fruit lingered on her lips and she smiled; "That is really amazing! thank you!"

"Ha. I will definitely do that!" Danielle laughed. She knew it wouldn't be that bad, but, you never know. Either way, Danielle was now pumped about her, new Potions Lesson. "At least it was April Fools day, and I bet since you are a kid, they let it slide." Danielle said grinning. Her grin grew wider when, Willow tried the 1st Cherry Juice. "I know, now try that one!" Danielle said, pointing to the 2nd glass. As Willow tried, she smiled when she said it was amazing. "Thanks, its really nothing, although since Cherry's are really small, it takes about 50, or more for a Gallon. Its still fun making it. I can teach you if you would like." Danielle smiled, sipping some more, of the Cherry Juice.

"Oh that would be awesome! and I could teach you something back. Making stuff is always fun." Willow grinned. She was really enjoying her time out here in the sun, it was a nice escape from all the current troubles that was plaguing her and being with someone who was starting out in her first year at Hogwarts was always exciting - hearing their likes and dislikes was always a fun point when it came to talking to them.

"So what are some of the things that you're really liking at the moment?" Willow asked, trying to make conversation. She sat crossed legged on the picnic blanket, sipping her Cherry Juice, she enjoyed the taste of it immensely, she couldn't remember how long it was she tasted cherries, it reminded her of the cherry tree back at home.

Danielle smiled. "Its very fun! I love cooking!" Danielle smiled at Willow. She was a great friend, and Danielle thought she was very nice. The sun felt good on Danielle. The winter was cold for Danielle, and she loved the nice hot sun. "I don't know. Its kind of overwhelming, here, if you know what I mean." Danielle laughed. She was having fun here, and she liked it.

Willow nodded; "Of course, I knew what it was like once upon a time - you never know if you're going to catch up with everyone else, but in your own time. It's very awesome indeed. Second year is more awesome as well, we get to look after plants in Herbology!" She laughed, back in the muggle world, looking after plants would be the most excruciating, most pathetic excuse for an assignment in a lesson unless you were interested in the sciences and she remembered how she and Chris had to look after hard boiled eggs for a week in primary school - it was such a funny sight, seeing kids walking around the playground carrying little containers for their eggs, babysitting other peoples eggs and 'putting them to sleep' in their beds.

"Whats the best thing you've ever cooked?" Willow asked, she wondered - Willow couldn't decide herself what was the best thing she cooked, she took pride in her cooking too. Finishing her Cherry Juice, she thanked Danielle. Enjoying the quiet conversation and the scent of flowers in the air - it was magical.
