Larissa wished for nothing more than peace and quiet as she thought over the previous days.
So much had happened.. So very much.
Now she sat in one of the forest's many trees, watching the world below.
She kept her wand close.. You could never tell when a fight would begin.

It was mid afternoon and so the sun beamed through the leaves, casting beautiful tinted green shadows upon the earth.
There was a loud crack nearby, stirring Larissa from her daze and she pointed her wand downwards..
"Homenum Revelio!" She said clearly.
An outline of a person appeared below.

Carla jumped, surprised to see someone in a tree. She looked about her age, so she felt comfortable.
Not sure whether to talk, she opened her mouth.
She had to crane her neck to see the girl, which started to annoy her.
'Hey, I'm Carla.' She said loudly. 'Can I come up?' She asked.

She moved closer to the tree, and it looked difficult to climb.
'How did you get up?'

Larissa noticed the girl speaking to her- She had shared a dorm with Larissa briefly.
"I know who you are." Larissa said firmly, her dark eyes on the girl along with her wand.
She motioned the girl to step aside before crouching in the tree, bending her legs and in one swift movement, landing neatly and cat-like on the ground.

"I'm a very skilled climber.. I'm also very good at setting fire to things," Larissa twisted her wand between her two index fingers, "Are you going to make this worth my time?"
She not do so much as smile. Her tone was cold.
"If you are here because you seek membership- You wish to become a part of the Goth Gang then say now. I have a lot of things to do and this is my free time."
She raised an eyebrow at the girl an inclined her head a little.

Carla was surprised to see Larissa jump elegantly out of the tree.
'Well...' She paused. Was it a good idea? What was this 'Gang?'
'Yes, I do. But I want you to tell me about it.' She said slowly.

She moved swiftly over to a fallen tree, taking a seat on it. She had been walking for a while, and needed a rest. She tapped the space next to her.
'That is, If you are willing to tell me?' She said icily.
She waited for Larissa to join her, although the tree was cold, and she wondered about getting up.

Larissa thought for a moment.
She smiled darkly. "Alright, I will tell you what is public knowledge, I will not, however, tell you anymore about the GG, understood?"
Larissa took a breath, still smiling.
"The Goth Gang is best known as the gang of arch rivals to the Glam Squad- Another gang made up entirely of Slytherins..
However," Larissa smirked, "The Glam Squad is falling apart. Many from there have become enemies."
She began pacing back and forth.
"You may know about the many pranks happening over the past three years? Well, in my first year, me and Hoshi decided to cause a bit of trouble.. Then Adira joined us.. We have gone far beyond pranking people.."
She said no more and simply smiled.
"I am probably the least well-known member of the gang.. I make a point not to get caught.. I believe Hoshi and Adira get a certain thrill out of being caught."
Larissa looked at her nails. She then turned to her tree and began climbing it, gripping it tight and clawing her way back up.
She lay upside-down, watching Carla.
"And that is all I am willing to tell."

Carla narrowed her eyes slightly as she listen to what Larissa had to say.
She imagined the fun she could have in that sort of gang... And then hovered, wondering what they did to people.
'It sounds... Like me. Like the sort of thing I'd join.' She said.
She stepped towards a different tree, and placed her foot on a low branch. She heaved herself up, her nails scratching the bark. It hurt, but she didn't show it. She wanted to prove that she wasn't a wuss.
When she reached the top, she pulled her jumper over her head and sat on it.
Still, the cold seeped through. Shivering, she looked over at Larissa, who was upside down.
'When you say... Further than pranking people... What do you do exactly?' She asked cautiously, afraid that this question would have an affect on Larissa.

Larissa smiled darkly.
"The trials have not yet begun.. But soon they will." That was all she would say on the topic.
Now to business.
"I need to know a few things about you, Carla, if I am to even consider talking with the other members about you joining.."
She remained upside-down, allowing the blood to flow to her head.
"What is your blood purity? Are you half? Pure? Mixed or mud?" She spoke the last one with a certain venom to her tone.

Carla raised one eyebrow slightly.
'Mixed.' She said simply.
'Why does it matter?' She asked, starting to frown. There was something wrong about Larissa.
She slipped on the tree, swearing violently.
'Sorry. Go on?' She started to heave herself back up, ignoring the blood trickling down her leg. It was just a cut, but it was stinging like mad. She wondered if Larissa could do anything.
Unfortunately, she hadn't been paying attention in her classes, and didn't have a clue what spell might heal it.

Larissa watched as Carla slipped, cutting her leg.
She stared at the crimson liquid moving enticingly downwards.
She pulled her senses together and looked up at Carla.
"Oh, it matters.. For many reasons.." Larissa twiddled her wand.
She didn't think she could heal the wound and so she merely watched the blood trickle.
It was getting too much for her; Larissa twisted round and sat upright, pulled a cloth from her pocket and tossed it over to Carla.
"Alrght," Larissa said simply, "I will have a word with the other members and then we will call a meeting.. It will be there we decide upon your membership.." Larissa hopped down from the tree.
"Better than you have failed.." Larissa hissed under her breath, walking from the forest to find the people she needed.
