For some reason, Thalia always felt at peace by the lake. She had found her favourite spot fairly quickly last semester, and she sincerely hoped that no one had taken it. She made sure to have the essentials that her mother had always taught her and her sisters to pack: snacks, water, a book and some extra clothes like socks just in case the weather turned bad and her feet got soaked. It seemed to be a lovely day though, so Thalia wasn't too concerned about the weather changing unpredictably. When she arrived to the lake, she found her spot, by the same tree she always went to, and sighed quietly. Someone had taken her spot, it seemed. A boy she recognised from her classes, maybe? She couldn't quite tell. Too shy to ask him to move, the Ravenclaw sat down a few feet away from him and pulled out her book from her bag, hoping he didn't mind that she had decided to sit here too. She really didn't want to move.
