A new friend

[Brayden Hunt]

Brayden was walking through the harbour. It was a sunny day but it was still cold and he was wearing a black coat and some black jeans. He walked close near the shops so he could look in when he spotted something good. Brett went over to a bench and sat down. He wanted to pass the time away for now so was just watching the world go by.

Tristan wandered through the harbour, thinking about his family back in England. He was just on his way home, when a cold wind blew across from the sea. Tristan was wearing a thin jumper and some jeans. As he began to get colder, Tristan put on his newly bought hoodie then went and sat down on a nearby bench, where he was joined by another boy who looked around the same age of him.

Tristan looked at the boy then smile at him. "Hey." He said with a friendly voice.

Brett looked to his side and smiled. " Hey." The boy seemed his own age and seemed to be nice so he was nice back to him. " You ok?" It was good for starters and Brett wanted to get to know him a little better before they shared names with each other

Tristan sensed this guy was friendly, so gave him another genuine smile. "Yeah, I'm alright thanks...not bad I suppose...what about you?" He asked.

Brayden shrugged. " I carnt complain. So what brings you here then?" Brad had never really been good at making conversation but he knew the basic and used them to his advantage

Tristan's mind began to wander, as the boy spoke. "Urm, nothing really, I'm new here, so I am just getting to know my way around I suppose...what about you?" Tristan asked.

Brad shrugged. " I dont really know, i was just out for a walk i suppose. So how do you like it here so far then?" Brad loved it here and wouldnt leave for anything he had so much fun here with his mates
