What better way to spend a Saturday morning that out and about in the gardens? Cosette had no where she wanted to be for the first time in a while and the only place she wanted to be was near nature and its beauty. Clutching her sketchbook tightly to her mint green blouse, she scanned the grounds in search of something pretty to sketch for today. She hadn't bothered to pick up a pencil and her sketchbook in what felt like ages, months even. Suddenly, out of the corner of her golden eyes, she spied a low wall of flowers emit from the gardens to the lower right. Blinking, she swore she had seen an empty patch of land sitting there a second ago. Why pass up a beautiful wall of flowers though, that seemed to be fresh in bloom even though it was nearing the end of winter? Smiling lightly, something that also seemed to be rare of late, she walked her way down to the gardens, always keeping the wall of flowers in sight. It wasn't hard either, the redness of them standing out perfectly among the slowly browning or newly laid green grass. Only a few feet away and she could see the other details of the flowers, the intricate stems and leaves that played all the way down to the dirt packed ground. The fifth had been sketching since she was a small child, loving it for a long time. She hadn't been able to get her muse much lately though, with the past few months all but a haunting memory she wanted to get past.
Cosette had never really shown anyone her sketches, it was that private for her. They were private, and most of them of late were quite sorrowful and maybe a bit disturbing to people who didn't understand. She sketched what she felt, what she saw deeper inside things and people...sometimes. Biting the inside of her cheek, her hand went up awkwardly to her auburn locks to twirl them, doing what she did when she was alone.Hugging her sketchbook a bit tightly to her, she let her thoughts wander for a bit, but not too far. If she got too absorbed in her imagination, which she usually did on many occasions, then she'd forget where she was and what she was doing. It's been a days, weeks or even months since she last saw her sister and brother. Though the last time she could remember was that she and Armand had a misunderstanding, it was about him teasing her which Cosette didn't appreciated at all. He was her brother and friend after all, which made it more difficult for her to handle. Instead of thinking about them she decided to just concentrate on her sketching followed later by her flute playing once she's satisfy with her work.
