A Little Talk

While Mallory understood that not every student was thrilled with her classes, and while she hardly expected every student to even like them, she still got the odd student that was a little more... rambunctious. She was heavily pregnant at this point, sitting in the comfortable chair at her desk, pleased that she could still wear some of the more stylish and comfortable wizarding robes without too much trouble. She'd simply braided her hair before settling in to wrap up her grading.

She was waiting for a student to stop by- one she'd noted had quite literally walked out of several of her classes. She knew she needed to handle it, even if she wasn't completely sure how the conversation would go. She sighed, setting the pages she was working on down, rubbing at her eyes. This would be easier if she wasn't so drained from the pregnancy. She set some tea to brew, hoping it would help clear her head.

Eurydice had sort of expected that she would have been called on by the Charms professor. Honestly, she's surprised it's taken this long. She'd walked out on the first class after being told to practice on dirty dishes which was just plain disgusting. She'd been surrounded by them and she hadn't wanted to stay in the classroom any longer than she had to. And then of course, there had been the Repello class where they were told to fling bugs around. Eury had no idea why it had to be bugs. Not when they could apparently repel books just fine. She hadn't walked out that time, but she'd plainly refused to go into the crevices of the garden to find bugs, come near them, and fling them. She didn't even want to go into the Garden. She hadn't even been working on her Herbology for Merlin's sake because she could stand handling dirt, so of course, bugs were out of the question. Not that the professors usually cared what students felt. And so, it was with no feelings of regret nor repent did Eury show up to the Charms professor's office. Knocking on the door and entering after a moment, "You called for me Professor?" she greeted as she walked in.​
