Daemyn Knight was starting to question everything at this point. He met with the woman that his parents arranged him with. She was lovely, if he could say so himself. Both were members of the Scitorari, albeit different sections. Daemyn had asked for some time alone with Kasura, on a first date. It might have been redundant because they were going to be married one way or another. He had decided to bring Kasura along for a tour of the family's crypt. It was a dimly lit, with thousands of graves, some empty, some filled. Names were carved into the plagues on all of them though some were better decorated than others. That was what happened when one was a higher up member of the family. Daemyn himself was not higher up but he would have loved to be. One day. "I figured that this would be a safer tour than the family's manor," Daemyn chuckled. There was no telling what sort of death traps rested within the family's manor. He could have taken her to see the official family tree though. He was sure that her name would be on there because their engagement was iron-clad.

Kasura was certainly no stranger to dates, she'd been on them when she was younger, it wasn't like she was completely antisocial in school, she just hadn't found most people to be worth her time. Too many questions about her eyes or her obsession with blood and potions. Not specifically someone's blood status, really she couldn't care less about that, but one types of blood made potions more potent and if she asked a classmate or two if they had Veela blood or goblin blood it wasn't because she wanted to make fun of them, it was because she ... wanted to use them in a potion ingredient. Well, their blood... mostly. "You're probably correct. Old manors creep me out anyway, they're stuffy and stilted and they have no personality... unlike crypts. They have a lot of personality," she said, nodding in approval. Why would she want to go to a stuff manor anyway? Uncle Richard had an old stuffy manor she'd been to a couple of times that she preferred to ignore now. All cobwebs and dead things. Yuck. It was fine for crypts but not for where someone lived. "Tell me about some of the names," she said, pointing to one of the ones on a plaque. "What did they do to get so high?"

She might change her mind if she had seen the Zhefarovich Manor. Daemyn merely smirked at the thought, and reached out to touch one of the crypts. The name was so old that it was nearly eroded off. "As long as you don't open the crypts and turn them into experiments or inferi, once we are married, you can come visit this anytime." Daemyn wondered if that was just another perk to being his wife. He stopped walking to look at one of the names that she pointed to. He knew that one. He had met that one, however he was a ghost at the time. "That is Arnost Zhefarovich. He's the twin brother of our progenitor patriarch. He fought in a war between families and struck down the enemy. He lost his life in the process though. He was a force to be reckoned with." Arnost played a prank on the family, he remembered the tale, of when Asparuh held a funeral after giving up on resurrection and Arnost crashed his own funeral by showing up as a ghost. "He can't do anything now except annoy you. Not even death could hold him. He came back as a ghost." Daemyn gestured to the one a few places down. "Their grandfather is over there, another Patriarch. I think he got rid of a few cousins that married muggles. I don't know much about him."

Kasura made a face as Daemyn suggested she might defile a dead body by making it an inferi. “Ew, don’t be crass, as if I would defile a corpse by doing something like that to it, I don’t care what those Necromancers think, there’s never a good reason and it’s just plain creepy.” She might not be against using living blood in potions but even the blood magic people freaked her out. It was just plain weird, and she didn’t think she would ever think any differently. She raised an eyebrow as he explained one of the names in the crypt. “Huh, fancy, sounds like there’s a lot to live up to there,” she couldn’t fathom doing something so highly regarded for the family to be held in such honour. No, she didn’t think she would do that, but she didn’t suppose she had to either, she was being married in on the merrit of her blood and probably of the fact she wasn’t an idiot.

She snorted slightly at the story about crashing his own funeral. That did sound pretty funny, though she imagined it probably wasn’t at the time. She supposed Daemyn’s Gradnfather would hold a place of high esteem when he passed, though she wondered if he would choose to become a ghost. She doubted it, it seemed a rather lonely life, but from what she’d heard about the family, perhaps he wouldn’t trust anyone enough to step up after he was gone, thus forcing himself into ghostdom. She followed his gesture to yet more people, honestly she couldn’t imagine such a big family, hers was big enough but she didn’t see this many of them and they were hardly all buried together like this. “Somehow, with you, this makes so much sense.”
