Samual couldn't remember the last time he had written a letter to someone before, but he was happy that he was starting to write letters again, even if it was coming to the end of the year. Exams were close and things were getting a little hectic, but writing letters had always been something Sammy enjoyed, mostly because he loved writting, which was why he wrote for thr Hogwarts Monthly, and the fact that Nadia worked there, she made everything more fun. Samual folded up the letter and started his way to the North Tower, it was going to be a ridiculously long walk, but it wasn't going to be that bad, besides, he promised Claire that he'd write back and it had been about a week since he said that, he felt a little lousy for taking so long, but he had homework to tackle and friends and family to cheer up, so he did have some pretty good excuses. He did so well in his exams last term, he did't want to fail these ones because he got himself distracted, as his siblings would always say: Education came first. Even though most of them spent their time playing with friends, rather than studying, they were a bucnh of hypocrites, but they were family and Samual respected the fact that they were trying to help him out, even if they were being totally unfair. Sam worried about his friends and family a lot, especially with all the rumors going around like wild fire, it was ridiculous, and now there were rumors about his sister and adopted niece going around, though the later was far more disturbing to the curly-haired boy, since it involved him actually being attracted to her, it turned his stomach to think of Nadia like that, even if they weren't really related.
Samual made it to the North Tower and walked to a window. Corvin, his black raven, already knew where to go and hopefully he knew how to get there, but he usually found his way to places, so Samual was confident that he'd reach Claire. Giving the letter to Corvin, Samual watched him fly away, and then quickly went down stairs for class.

Hey! I'm sorry it took me awhile to write to you, but I've been really busy with school work and exams that are coming up real soon. So how have you been? I'm going to try and keep this brief because I have class soon. So yeah, I haven't actually written to anyone for ages, it's a little foreign to me to be honest, but I'm trying!
So yeah, stay safe, don't climb too many trees and behave yourself!
~Sam.
