Even though it had only been a week since he'd sent Avalon off to his mother, Jeremy had begun to head to the owlery every afternoon. His mother was forever answering owls sent to her from the office that he hoped she'd reply to him quickly enough. He knew that Avalon must still be held up though and that made Jeremy hopeful because he knew she'd make slow progress if she was indeed dragging along all of his quidditch pads.

After class, Jeremy made his usual trek up to the owlery and it seemed he had timed it perfectly. As he reached the top step and turned into the large space, he spotted Avalon soaring toward him. A look of excitement crossed the young Ravenclaws face until he realized that the owl held nothing more than an envelope. With a pat to her head as she landed nearby and stuck her leg out, Jeremy took the note off and ripped it open quickly. His expression went from disbelief to anger in a matter of moments as he read its contents.
Dear Jeremy Patrick,

I'm glad that your first week at school appears to be going well. Alana was named prefect in her school and she asked that I pass the message along. I ensured her I would. I asked your sister to check your room as I was busy preparing for a very important case. I honestly can't believe your father payed all of those galleons for those pads. Your owl seems to be too small to carry the burden, so as soon as my owl returns from sending some very important letters to the French ministry, I will send her to you.

I must say that I am quite disappointed that you've decided to continue playing this frivolous sport. Surely, there are more academic pursuits available at your school? If I told your father once, I told him thousands of times that quidditch was a foolish sport. I am sorry to hear that you favor his opinion on the matter over mine.

Best of luck with the rest of the semester. Don't forget to remind your father that you will be spending the first half of the vacation with me.

Your mother,
Rebekah

After he'd read it through several more times, Jeremy shook his head sadly and stuffed the letter into his pocket. He couldn't believe that the woman who barely had time for him when he was living near her thought she could dare to tell him what to do when he wasn't with her. It was unbelievable. At least he would be getting his gear soon. As long as she didn't forget anyway.

Mizelea loved the idea of just writing what came to her mind. She would need to remember that next time her brain was filled to the top with a million and one piece of information and ideas. Sometimes Mizelea would just sit down and stare of into space, hoping to put the scrabbled pieces that laid in her mind. She would become so emerged in her own mind sometimes that the brunette would shut out the rest of the world, having to be pinched by friends to get out of her brooded trance. Then out of nowhere she decided to write Jeremy ,the boy he met somewhere in Texas. She wanted to surprise him by means of sending him a letter. Mizelea's parents just gave a gift to her days before, it was an owl. Feathers white as snow, she named him Avalon. The name just popped out of her head. Mizelea thought hard of what she wanted to write. It was her third year after all, so she was getting into a rut. It has been minutes since her quill had scratched the parchment with ink.
Dearest Jeremy,
How are you? How's school so far? . . .Erm I really don't know what to write next but still here it goes! Let me restart! Hello Jeremy! It's been like days, weeks or is it months that I haven't see you!? As always I'm quiet the hyper, Did I ever tell you from what school am I in? Hmmmm. Anyways, Another reason that I sent you a later is because I got a new owl! My parents delivered them to me a week ago. His name is Avalon! I don't know why but it started to popped out of my head. I guess that's all for now! Will wait for your reply soon!</COLOR>
Sincerely yours,
Mizzy

<COLOR color="#5a70b3">As she finished her letter for Jeremy she started to tie the letter to Avalon, hopefully she got the knot right. Watching Avalon fly, Mizelea waved at him as she then started to sit on the grass. Humming a song by Johnny Cash.

Jeremy was busy looking for some notes he had taken and he had looked everywhere for them. Finally, one of his roommates had suggested that he look in his textbook. Jeremy had rolled his eyes at the idea, but when he had finally checked, his notes were right there waiting for him. He had a feeling that his roommate had borrowed them and placed them there but so long as he had them, Jeremy didn't care. As he was about to close the textbook, Jeremy noticed another piece of parchment sticking out and when he looked at it, he realized it was from his friend Mizelea.

Jeremy gasped. He'd completely forgotten to write her back. Pulling out a piece of parchment, he quickly scribbled her a note and then ran up to the owlery with that and the note for his sister he'd been putting off sending. He'd left out a lot, but for now it would do.

Dear Mizzy,

Wow! That's really crazy. My owl's name is Avalon too. I got her with some galleons I'd saved. Like four birthdays worth. She's not very friendly but she does have a fondness for owl treats, and she's usually a lot nicer to people she sends messages to.

School has been a bit crazy. Next year is OWL year, so the professors seem to be getting us ready for those. I've been spending loads of time alone in the library. You did mention that you were a Beauxbatons student? How are your classes going? Anything interesting happening?

Jeremy

Alana,

Yes, mother did let me know you'd become a prefect. Congratulations. And thanks for finding my pads. I really needed them.
Will you be going home for the holidays? I'm supposed to be heading to mother's house. Maybe we can meet up.

Jeremy

Jeremy attached the first letter to Avalon and the second to a school owl, sending both off quickly. Once he had watched them fly off, Jeremy headed back down the stairs and to the common room, so he could get back to the work he'd been planning on doing in the first place.

Stress was the last word Mizelea could hear, she wasn't the type who would panic about such things like school works and everything. She made sure to finish all her homeworks and projects before the deadline, reviewing her notes days before her exam and quiz made things easier for her. Though she admits that it's fun to watch her classmates covered with eye bags and fatigue. She wasn't also a library person, Mizelea would rather stay inside her down and listen to old songs while reviewing her notes. Surprised and Amazed Mizelea got a reply from Jeremy, she then swiflt got some quill and a piece of parchment to write back.
Dear Jeremy,
Wow! Crazy indeed! though mine is a male. If I'm to describe him, his quite different from me I guess, he loves delivering letters and other things though he dislike loud noises it makes him feel unsecured I guess. Though we both like old and classical songs which is a good thing. I'm not sure that I mentioned that to you, about me being in Beauxbatons but oh well! I am studying in Beauxbatons, though I have to admit I miss the weather in Texas all the time! Hmmm, School is great! I'm done passing almost all of my requirements and all. Exams? I think it's probably next week? I'm not that sure. Well I can actually speak French fluently! My classmate slash room mate who is half-French is the one who taught me. At first it was quite confusing but once you get a hang of it, it feels great1 I do hope I could teach you French sometime, maybe when we met again.</FONT>

<FONT font="Georgia">Mizelea then attached the letter to Avalon as she tied the knot and watched as he started to fly higher and higher.

Jeremy was sitting at breakfast when he received Mizelea's reply. It made him smile slightly, one of the first things he'd smiled at in a while. It didn't take him very long to reply either because he didn't have much to tell her. He didn't want to tell her any of the stuff that had been annoying him.
Mizzy,

I'm glad you're enjoying school. This year has been rather difficult for me. Wow...French? That is really cool. I don't really speak any languages. I know a bit of Italian but not much. You can try to teach me, but I'll warn you that I have an inability to learn languages. That's why I only know a little bit of Italian.

Will you be heading back to Texas for the holidays? I'm supposed to be heading up to Maine to visit my mother and sister. I kind of don't want to go, but I don't think there is really a way out of it. Best of luck on your exams and stuff.

Jeremy
He looked the note over, realizing it was a bit lame, but it was all he had the energy for. Attaching the note to Avalon, he watched her soar off.

OOCOut of Character:
I'm so sorry Cyn for forgetting this!

Mizelea was wandering along the corridors when she received a letter coming from Jeremy. She wasn't busy alone, perhaps bored. It's been quite sometime that she's been stuck inside her dorm reviewing. The fact that her room mate decided to visist her relatives. Good for her, although Mizelea didn't go anywhere.

Dear Jeremy,
Sure I'd love to teach you that is if we meet again. Let's start scheduling one for future plans. Teehee.
Sadly no, I think I'll be staying here. Well I have my reason sort of a secret buy hey! Good for you! Ive never been to Maine but I hear they make good turkey there. Unlike here in school, the cafeteria food is awful and uhmm distasteful. So like yeah at times I have no choice but to starve myself. I miss going out of school and strolling around Europe. Too bad I can't, my allowance will be arriving next week so I'm left with some of my savings to spare. My parents owl and delivery thingy is somehow....oh I don't know broken. Anyway regard to your family!</COLOR></FONT>
Sincerely, Mizzy

She didn't checked her letter if there were misspelled words or anything, she was too bothered hearing her stomach grumbling. Mizelea then tied the letter to Avalon and waved him goodbye.
