Dominic rarely made his way to the dungeons outside of his potions classes, and so he was a little nervous to be heading down there for his next rose delivery. As he couldn't find the professor in her office and missed out on seeing her during breakfast, he figured the next best place to try would be the dueling chamber. She was a very busy woman, and so it wouldn't really surprise him. She was probably getting ready for her next class. As he opened the door, he peaked inside before fully stepping in and took a deep breath as he looked around. "Professor?" he asked the room tentatively, wondering if she was hiding somewhere.

The former Auror was accustomed to having left her previous life behind her, but that didn't mean she didn't miss it at times. She was now looking forward to taking part in the Duelling tournament, and knowing that she would either be coming up against her husband, her best friend, or the girl that had once kicked her husband where it hurt, Geo thought she could do with a little more practice ahead of time, just to make sure she was still on top of things. She turned at the sound of a voice, smiling at a student she didn't recognise, "Is everything alright?" she asked, lowering her wand.

Dominic cleared his throat and attempted to stand up a little straighter as he heard the professor's voice. He turned to her and tried to smile, despite feeling slightly nervous about being in the dungeons and an environment he was unfamiliar with. At least he had finally found her. "Yes, everything is good." he said, before reaching into his basket of roses to pull out a yellow one for her. "I just have a rose for you." He took a few steps closer to her before holding the rose out in front of him for her to take. It had a note attached to its stem.

Thank you for your words by the lake.
