A heated 'discussion'

[Ignore.]

(To be honest, I have no idea how to reply now given that the two of you have gone way beyond what I think is reasonable for me to have allowed to happen...you are two 11 year old boys and I think I read in one of your bios that you are about 5'4" which would probably make you about 100 or 110 pounds tops. Bruin is 6 foot and probably in the 170-180 range. Given that I placed myself between you and pushed you apart it is highly unlikely that I would have stepped back and allowed you to bash each other's head into the floor, etc.

I'm not trying to kill your fun or anything, but there was a tonne of godmodding in this RP and now you've placed me in a position where I can't RP how I would have responded. I see that Scorpius has already started a RP in the hospital wing which is great because that's where Bruin would send you anyways...sorry if this sounds like complaining, but I just wanted to let you know how I felt because I regret even PM'ing Scorpius and joining the thread now. I should have just let Professor Manteia catch you and deal with it because he'd have probably just stunned you both and prevented all this extra stuff from happening.

I thought about PM'ing this to both of you, but felt that anyone else who was reading this might benefit from considering how sometimes patience and allowing others to reply can keep the realism in your threads. As I said, I don't know how to reply at this point so feel free to PM me with a suggestion...as it is, I just want to stun you both and go get a professor and let them deal with you, but won't godmod you that way without permission.)

PROBLEM SOLVED WITH SOME WELL DONE EDITS...THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING AND WE CAN START FRESH FROM MY NEXT POST!!!

Bruin was glad to see that the two boys were at least making an attempt to bring themselves under control. He figured that the next step was to get them seperated so nothing else happened and ultimately, off to the Hospital Wing. He couldn't tell who was is worse shape, but based upon his laboured breathing Bruin figured that perhaps Scorpius should head there first.

"I've got no idea what this is all about, but I'm always one for making the best of a bad situation..." Bruin began, hoping to appeal their common sense. Although from the looks of it he couldn't be sure that they had any to begin with and even if they did, that they hadn't just beaten it out of one another. "Scorpius, do you think you can make it up to the Hospital Wing by yourself? I think you'll both need to be checked out, but maybe heading up there together isn't the smartest thing to do at the moment." Bruin said, hoping that Scorpius would go and that he could keep an eye on Beau in the interim.

Scorpius had been glaring at Beau until Bruin addressed him. He nodded in agreement with Bruin thinking that he needed to get to the Hospital Wing and fast. He looked Beau over, thinking he hadn't done enough damage as he wished to but there was nothing he could do about it now anymore, at least his nose looked broken. Before he could leave though he looked up at Bruin and asked, "Are you going to tell our Heads of Houses?"

Beau had to stop himself from smirking in triumph as Scorpious was sent off first, clearly he looked in worse condition. But his attention focused on Bruin as he wondered if he would tell their head of houses, after the lecture he had recieved recently from his he hoped the answer would be no, but then again he couldn't blame him if he did.

Bruin hadn't wanted to involve the Heads of Houses if he could at all avoid it, but needed some assurances that this kind of thing wouldn't be happening again. He didn't mind helping out a couple of boys who got carried away, but wasn't going to put his own neck on the line for a couple of hot-headed little punks if that was what these two turned out to be.

"I'm not going to say anything to them myself unless you two force me to go that route..." Bruin replied as calmly as he could. "But you're both a mess and need to go to the Hospital Wing to get checked out. If the nurse puts two and two together, I can't guarantee that they won't find out..."

"This isn't over Beau. If I find out you did anything to hurt her, you're dead, I'll make sure of it," Scorpius said to him, unable to contain himself even in front of Bruin. Sure he may have had to go to the Hospital Wing first, but at least he had to go too. This was simply a battle in a war, though Scorpius wasn't really sure who won.

Bruin turned and glared at Scorpius wishing that he would just recognize when he was getting a good deal and leave. However, at least his words had helped Bruin understand the situation a little better. So, this is about a girl...figures! "It better be over Scorpius...now get going or I'll drag you off to Professor Ana myself." Bruin stated with an equal mix of annoyance and anger sneaking into his voice.

Scorpius knew he had said too much and had he been thinking straight he would've stopped himself sooner but the sight of Beau just made him irrationally mad. He nodded at Bruin once more in appreciation, grateful that even though he had acted up, Bruin was still lenient enough not to tell Professor Ana. He took off to the Hospital Wing as fast as he could without another word.

Bruin shook his head lightly from side to side. Man, these two are a couple of mouthpieces! No wonder they wanted to punch each other's lights out... He thought to himself. As the door closed behind Scorpius, Bruin turned to get a better look at Beau, hoping he'd relax a little now that his opponent had left.

"So, what's her name?" Bruin asked with the hint of a smile to show he had an inkling that this fight had been at least in some part over a girl.

Bruin relaxed a little, sensing that Beau wasn't going to be too difficult now that Scorpius wasn't around. He tried to recall whether he had met a Toni or not during the past few weeks, but couldn't really be certain given that there were so many new students. "A little obvious, yeah..." Bruin replied. "Seems like girls are the only thing us boys fight about with any consistency around here...I hope she's worth it!" He added as he shook his head slightly.

Bruin began to wonder whether denying Beau medical attention while Scorpius got looked at was all that wise. "So, do you think your alright to wait for a bit before heading up to the Hospital Wing? You are a bit of a mess..."

Beau laughed, "Have to say I agree with you there," he said, feeling much more relaxed now he wasn't having to cover his back against Scorpious, "The thing is it really has nothing to do with him, he got involved with it for someone else," he said shaking his head.
"Thanks mate," Beau said, though the blood had only jsut stopped pouring out of his nose, "Yeah I'll be fine," he said, he planned on taking a detour to the common room anyway before he went to the hosptial wing. "Sorry you had to get involved in all this," he said.

Bruin pointed to his Head Boy badge and shrugged. "No problem, apparently it's part of my job...although I doubt I could have ignored the two of you even if I didn't have an obligation to stick my two cents in." Bruin said casually, glad to hear that Beau felt he would be fine. "By the looks of it, you two wouldn't have stopped until one of you was out cold or worse..."

Bruin was a little confused about what Beau meant when he said that the thing didn't really even involve Scorpius, but didn't even want to try and figure out what kind of bizarre relationships the First Years had already established. "So, aside from all of this...how are you liking school so far?" Bruin said with a hint of sarcasm, hoping that Beau hadn't experienced any run-ins with Manteia yet, knowing that he was probably the toughest of the Heads of House to deal with.

Beau smiled, "Yeah I guess it is," he said, "How you finding being head boy?" he asked, his tone slightly sarcastic but not enough to be evident.
"Yeah its great," he said, his hand reached up to his nose which felt strangely numb now, he was glad of that though atleast it stopped the pain. "The lessons seem pretty okay, and the Professors don't seem to bad,"

"It's alright I suppose, although the profs didn't really have much choice seeing as I'm the last boy standing from our original class. They probably wouldn't have wanted to give it to a transfer student." Bruin replied with a simple grin. Bruin had, of course, been top student at the school for four years, but didn't like talking about it, preferring his actions to speak for him.

"The lessons can get a bit dry in first and second year, but stick with it...it gets better!" Bruin stated. "So, what do you think? You ready to head up to the Hospital Wing or do you want to chat a little longer?"

Beau shook his head, "Far too modest I think," he said laughing. "Yeah I will," he said shrugging. "Erm, I think I better get up to the wing," he said honestly, his nose felt like it was beginning to set out of place. "Thanks Bruin," he said sincerly, before turning and walking down the stairs instead, he wanted to see Toni straight away, his nose could wait.

"No problem Beau, but stay out of trouble, alright?" Bruin suggested as the first year left the room. Bruin had intended on escorting him up to the Hospital Wing, but decided that if Scorpius and Beau were stupid enough to resume their fight in the presence of the school nurse then they deserved the worst. He had done what he could to help them make the best of a bad situation and figured that this was the best anybody could have done under the circumstances.
