Star was back at Hogwarts. Her fifth year in school. This was there OWL year and Star was going to try and do her best.Sara and Kate were both happy with their results and Star wanted to be too.She wanted to know she had tried her best and got what she deserved .She wasn’t too worried about them yet.She was doing a small amount of studying. She was just going over what they learned each day.She quite enjoyed studying, she never found herself zoning out or coming up with excuses not to do it.But unlike other years she was putting as much effort in.She wasn’t focusing her whole year on studying. She wanted to ome out of her shell. For the past year she had been doing i slowly.Becoming more confident in herself especially when around other people. She didn’t think so much about what they thought about her.She was becoming more carefree which was a ig step for Star who had always stayed in the shadows. She would always follow Ryan, she had been like his shadow. She had barely spoken to anyone in primary school and for the first three years of school she doubted half her year knew she was even there. She was pretty good at hiding herself and just observing everyone else. But it was something she hadn’t been doing as much of lately. She had actually talked to people in her year, she had even made a really good friend. He was one of her only friends and it was partly due to him that she had the confidence to be more herself. That day she had spent with Sammy had been probably the best in her whole time in Hogwarts. For once she wasn’t worrying about what he thought about her.He seemed to like her for who she was even though she had been a babbling, blushing fool at the beginning.Star wasn’t starting off the year very happy though. She was still angry and hurt at Ryan.No matter how many times he said sorry she was going to find it hard to forgive. She never forgot the look in his eyes when he told her she was a waste of space and he hated her.She had flinched at his words and cried the rest of the evening. Her own twin saying he hated her. They had always been so close, practically inseparable since birth but all that had changed.Star wanted to forgive him and she was sure in time she would but Star was fragile when it came to feelings. She didn’t have any back bone at all.Any sort of criticism sent her crawling back into the whole she had just come out of.

She was using her camera a lot more since coming back to Hogwarts. It was a hobby she was really interested in and she was liking the pictures she took.It helped her get outside more and interact with other people. She was quite sentimental. She liked to take pictures of special moments so she could look back at them in the future. She had bought a scrapbook kit and she was planning on starting it when she was finished fifth year. There would be pictures of just this year in the scrap book and hopefully she would have a scrapbook for sixth and seventh year as well. That was the plan anyways, hopefully she would have a lot of happy memories to look back on whens he left school in three years time.Star was scared at how quickly school was coming to an end.Once she was finished her,she really would be out in the big bad world. That thought terrified her.She didn't think she was ready for the world just yet.She still had a lot of bridges to cross before she was confident enough to meet the world with a smile. She still didn't know what she wanted to do either. So many things she could try and do but she was still to scared to try them all out.She was planning on trying everything out in sixth year. She wouldn't have a major exam and she would have the results backs from her OWLs which would influence her decisions.Star was in quite summery attire today, she didn't really feel the cold and it was sunny and there was a warm wind blowing so Star was quite comfortable in her choice of clothing. Her camera was hanging around her neck as she walked out of the Entrance Hall and into the courtyard. It was here she had taken her very first photos and she wanted to take some better ones this time.So starting off near the entrance she began taking photos.

It was the beginning of school. Everyone was back from their holidays by now. Justin had spent most of the Summer in France with Drake, his mother and half sister Madeline. From what Hazel had heard from the few letters she had actually gotten from the boys, Drake hated it there and Madeline was a Brat. Apparently she had even completely trashed Drake's room being completely jealous of her brothers magical affliction. Even though Hazel, in some instances, agreed with her plight, she couldn't understand why the girl would be so angry about not having magic. She had heard many say, in some cases, that magic was the worst thing to have ever happened to them. She sighed. She had never met the girl, but some how she knew that they would definitely not get along, not in any case of the word. Though she knew that Madeline was probably going to be even more hateful as soon as she learned that her whole family were magic. She knew about the twins, and she was soon to learn about, Willow, Andy, Daniel and her self. It was going to be a long day of explaining when that comes around. Hazel shook her head and looking in the mirror, brushing her hair out so that it sat on her shoulders. She was going to have some breakfast before she made her way down to the Courtyard. She liked it there. She had been there many times before. She made sure she looked presentable. She didn't want to look stupid while she was eating. That would not do at all.

Heading down to the Great Hall, Hazel thought about what she was going to do. Classes hadn't started yet so she had nothing to study for, at least not yet any way. So as she sat at the Ravenclaw table she thought about what she was going to take. What classes she was doing. She was of course going to take Potions. She had spent hours in the muggle library studying with Sammy after all. She had enjoyed it, but she had also learned of his affections for one, Star Moon. She was on the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team and a fifth year. Of course she knew her. She was the sister of the RHI target Kate Moon. As much as Hazel hated RHI, she noticed that Kate had been mentioned in every single issue and because of her Sammy was in it. She couldn't forgive that fact as much as she tried to do so. It was like Kate had a disease that she passed on to everyone she touched. Hazel tried not to speak ill of people, but when you had cousins like Drake and Justin and a sister like Willow, things often got harsh. She sighed as she shook her head. Willow was such a nuisance some times. As much as Hazel loved her sister, it was sometimes hard to see straight where she was involved.

Hazel finished up what she was eating and headed out the door to the Courtyard. She missed being there while she was at home. But she was lucky in that they had a nice little courtyard near to where she was. However, as she stepped out, she suddenly became aware of a blonde girl with a camera. She couldn't tell from her angle, but she was almost positive that she was looking at the back of the head of someone she really didn't like. Star Moon. The girl whom she was competing with Samual's affections. Because of this girl, Sammy barely even noticed her. She ground her teeth and stepped closer. she wanted to make sure that this really was really Star Moon. She smiled and lightly tapped the girl on the shoulder, looking around to see that she was in fact correct about it being Star Moon. "Hello Star, what a surprise to see you here." She smiled, though it was entirely fake. She did not appreciate Star being so close to Sammy when she couldn't be. All she really wanted was to be friends with Sammy. But he just was so hyper she was sort of, overwhelmed. And Star was just so, so.. she couldn't even describe it. "Ugh, Annoyance."

One thing that Star had done this year that had been totally unlike her was to join the quidditch team. In some ways she couldn't be any more public. Practically the whole school came to watch the match. She had had hundreds if sets of eyes watching her every move as she played the game. They hadn't played a very good game. Poor Bryce had been left by himself. She had done her best, taking three consecutive shots and the keeper but she blocked them all and then Sara hadn't caught the snitch. It didn't bother Star very much as she wasn't really into quidditch. Sh had it joined it to prove to herself that she could go out in public like that. So it was a successful day for Star. She wasn't very competitive and was in no way a sore loser. The Gryffindor team had played great and there was always other matches. She had didn't know if she would try out for the team next year. She enjoyed the experience but she wasn't really sure if it was her thing. Running was really her sport. Photography and reading her hobbies. It wa Sara and Kate who loved the quidditch. Sure they were both captains of their house teams. She wasn't sure how Kate worked with Hades. He was downright scary and Star kept well away from him in class. She didn't know what the sorting hat had seen but Star certainly didn't see it.

Star was enjoying taking pictures. She was playing with the light a little, going from different angles. Star hoped to see Sammy soon. She hadn't seen him since over the holidays and she missed his bubbliness though she wouldn't admit that to anyone. She was more or less a closed book when it came to feelings. Ryan had been the only one to ever know her proper feelings and now he was gone there was no one she could really trust. If she could trust anyone now it would be Sammy but she obviously couldn't tell him about her feelings . So Star was left keeping her feelings to herself and because of this she really wasn't fully sure of how she felt. She had no on elses view. Star was just co fused having never felt like this before. It was annoying because she really liked Sammy and she didn't want to seem like an idiot, blushing and what not all the time. She hoped as time went on her feelings would sort themselves out and things could be normal.

The sun was shinning brightly and she could feel it reflecting off her hair, making it shine. Star didn't realise any of this. She didn't think much of her appearance. She was blind in her own eyes. She ha bright blue, inquisitive eyes. Her hair was long and she never really did do anything to it, except maybe clip it back or tie it up. She bad often let her hair hang over her face as a kid. It hid her better, hid her face so no one would notice it. But these days she was doing the complete opposite. More people noticed her and at the beginning she hadn't like it but now she realized this was everyone felt. She nearly always had people looking at you. Star had been knew to the whole thing but now she was used to it. She smiled a lot more which lit up her face every time she did. Star was bending down, completely focused on the small butterfly which was resting on a sedum. It was quite beautiful, there was also bees and other insects flocking to the plant and Star was doing her best to stay still and get as close as she could so she could take a good picture but she jumped, which scared most of the insects away when someone spoke beside her. Star turned, frustrated and annoyed at the person who had ruined her concentration. Her face softened. She recognized her from classes and th common room. "Hey Hazel" She said smiling at the girl whom she had never talked to before. There seemed to be something off about her smile but Star couldn't figure it out. She also swore she said something under her breath, Star became slightly more cautious but told herself to relax. What could this girl possibly have against her. They have never spoken before,so she must be annoyed at someone else. That's what Star told herself to believe so her smile did not falter. But she was still a bit wary. " So what brings you out here?" she asked
