Christmas holidays were just around the corner which meant that exams were too and Lilyanna was eager to make her way straight to the library to get some studying happening. The Slytherin had of course been studying all throughout the year for her upcoming exams, but now that she had everything that they had been learning throughout the year, she'd finally be able to study properly and not just with a textbook. The second year carried her large pile of organised notes all the way up to the fourth floor from her common room, occasionally dropping a few and having to go back to collect it along the way. She didn't care about the peculiar looks she was getting from people as she walked inside the double doors of the library and took a sigh of relief as the familiar smell of books took most of her stress away. The library was definitely her favourite place and she couldn't help but feel like it was the safest part of the castle, even if there were occasionally stupid people who entered it.

With a smile on her face, Lilyanna placed her notes carefully on the nearest vacant table and dumped her bookbag right next to them with a loud thud. It was full of every single one of her textbooks and even spare pieces of parchment and spare quills just in case. The Slytherin sat down and took her charms notes from the top of the pile. The subjects she were doing that semester were sorted alphabetically with the first one on top. Each of the notes were also sorted into lesson order from number one through to five. Lilyanna hadn't really collected many notes from charms as they had been learning new spells mostly, but she still tried her best to read whatever was in the textbook and scribbled away as much as she could on another piece of parchment. There was no way that Lilyanna was going to fail any of her exams and she was determined to get top of class in every single one.

Exams were coming up and Bryony Woods was absolutely dreading them. She found the classes at Hogwarts strange and not very useful to her. It had been nearly two years and Bryony still wasn't used to the wand or the magic part of any of her classes. For the most part Bryony regarded magic as completely useless and not worth her time but she had to get used to it because she was enrolled in Hogwarts for a few more years despite her own concerns about not lasting that long. Being the only magical one in her family (to her own knowledge) there was nobody that she could discuss her concerns with. Most of the people she had met at the school were completely in love with magic and didn't understand how Bryony felt which only frustrated her.

She trudged along to the library deciding that she would at least try and do something productive with her time off from classes. She needed to try and save her grades from completely failing. After all, she wanted to do well, even if she didn't really like this magic stuff at the moment. Bryony sighed and walked into the Library and looked around for somewhere to sit, swinging her heavy bag around with her. As she turned a corner she thought she saw someone she recognised. She walked quickly towards the figure that was hunched over a pile of notes and Bryony recognised the familiar brown hair. "Ellie!" she whispered loudly as she bounded over to her best friend. However, on closer inspection something seemed wrong because the girl wore an expression on her face that Bryony had never seen on Ellie before. "Are you okay?" she asked the girl who she thought was her best friend.

As Lilyanna began writing as much as she could about the different wand movements for each spell, she jumped when she heard her sister's name being whispered right in her ear. The sudden noise startled her and resulted in herself drawing a huge accidental line across the page. The girl yelled in frustration as she picked up the piece of parchment she was writing on and threw it across the room. Now she had to start all over again. On the bright side, at least she had brought some spare pieces of parchment with her. The thought of that was probably the only thing keeping her from strangling the person who thought it was a good idea to disturb her. Better yet, they thought they were her sister and so she knew they would never go away now. "Eleanor isn't here." she muttered as she went to grab another piece of parchment from her pile. She didn't dare turn around to look at them. "Now go away."
