Evie had the idea for her first ever prank at Hogwarts, and she couldn't wait to implement it. The girl wanted to start off the year with a little fun, and so she collected everything she needed for it that morning. She had a ball of thin rope she had brought to Hogwarts with her (for educational purposes, of course), some strong tape, and stole a whole apple pie from the breakfast table that morning. She had received some weird faces, but no one had stopped her, and so it was just the beginning of a very perfect plan.
Evie made her way up to the fourth floor. It was one of the floors in the middle, meaning surely people would commute through there, or at least she hoped so. With the ball of rope and tape in her pocket, and the apple pie in her hands behind her, Evie looked quickly up and down the corridor to make sure no one was looking before then jumping into action. She cut off a rope that was a little bit longer than the width of the corridor and taped each side to the walls, just off the floor. She then placed the apple pie right in the middle of the walkway, totally unassuming. The tape was strong, so it would hold for a little while, and she just hoped someone would come along in that time. Her hope was that someone would trip over the rope trying to get to the pie, and even though it wasn't much, it would surely be funny. The Gryffindor stood around the corner as she waited for a potential victim.
