Amy had been wanting to continue to explore, with or without her brother so she decided the second floor was a place she hadn't yet explored properly. She had somehow found herself in an abandoned classroom, she doubted she had been here before but she could easily have been mistaken, seeing as Hogwarts was always full of mysterious places that each looked really similar to each other. The Hufflepuff could not find the difference in a lot of things in such a castle. It was a true mystery to the third year, even after being here for two full years. Third year. I'm in third year. Amy was not used to the idea yet. It was the first year with the electives she had decided to take for the rest of her education at the school and she couldn't say she wasn't pleased and overjoyed. She was now able to focus on the classes she liked rather than the ones she did not do well in before. As she wondered just how old this classroom was, she heard the sound of shuffling feet. Not wanting to be discovered in case no one was allowed in here - what if it was a Prefect or a professor...or worse, the headmistress? - the blonde dived under a desk near the back of the abandoned classroom. Hopefully it wasn't an authority figure. She held her breath, expecting the worst.

The first week back had ended all too quickly for Charlotte. It was all happening very fast but the Slytherin knew that she still had so much more stuff to cover this year, especially with the three new classes that she had to do. Not only were classes starting to become a bit too much, but a new year of Quidditch had also excited the third year who had only just finished her last game with success. She couldn't help but always think about the sport, even if the game was quite a while away. It excited her all too much and she hoped that this year they'd finally be able to get the house cup, something that Charlotte had practically been dreaming of.

As Charlotte skipped her way down the Second Floor Corridor, she found herself wandering into quite a familiar room. She remembered it all too well from her first year when she had found herself being slightly traumatised by two people in her year. Except this time it didn't look like anyone was in there which Charlotte was quite glad about. She wanted to see if there was anything worth searching for in such a plain room. After all, only the best things are well hidden and Charlotte was on a mission this year to find something interesting. She began to look under the desks and began rearranging the room. She wasn't sure if what she was doing was stupid but still continued to do it. It wasn't until Charlotte moved a particular desk at the back of the room that she realised someone else was there watching her. "What are you doing?" she asked them sharply, not intending her words to be as rude as they sounded. She found it silly that a girl was sitting underneath a desk with most likely no purpose at all. The girl looked familiar but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Who was she again?

When Amy heard a voice, a girl's voice to be exact, she felt relieved. She shook her head at her own ridiculousness and slowly rose out of her hiding spot, no point hiding behind a desk now, considering the desk she was hiding underneath had been pushed out of her way. She noticed the girl before her look confused at what Amy had been doing previously. Oh yeah, that's it - she had been hiding. The Hufflepuff gave the girl a smile in reassurance before explaining herself. She dismissed the harshness of her voice. "Sorry, I thought you were...someone else, a prefect or professor or something," she laughed a little to ease the slight awkwardness that had developed and decided to sit on one of the desks. She looked around at the abandoned classroom. "I wonder just how old this place is," she commented, just to make conversation. Soon later she realised she hadn't actually introduced herself and it would be less confusing if she introduced herself. "Oh! I'm Amy," she chattered brightly, grinning at the familiar girl in front of her, her dimples showing in the process. Amy did sort of recognize her. She wondered why.

Sorry this is so late!

So sorry this is really late!

The way that the girl was acting indicated that she might have been up to something. Why was she so scared of finding a prefect or professor if she was just hanging around in the abandoned classroom? Charlotte raised an eyebrow at her as she laughed, already feeling that the girl was slightly too suspicious, and just brushed off her comment about how old the place was. It was obviously too hard to figure out and Charlotte did not feel like talking about that. Instead, she said what she was thinking. "But why?" The Slytherin asked, willing for the girl to elaborate. "Why are you so scared to see a professor or a prefect?" Charlotte didn't want to seem too nosy but she couldn't help but wonder if the girl was up to anything that Charlotte thought she might want to join her in. Charlotte beamed at the girl's name. Maddie had definitely talked about someone named Amy to her and that was probably where Charlotte had heard the name from before. It was probably also who Charlotte found Maddie hanging around with when they weren't together. "I'm Charlotte!" she exclaimed, happy to have finally met this girl.
