A Burning Question

Dom had finally saved up enough money to purchase the perfect Christmas present for his girlfriend and had finally come up with what he hoped would be the perfect words to accompany giving it to her. He'd spent the last several weeks trying to come up with just the right way to do this, knowing that Rhyspa still had a year of school left, but wanting to make sure that she was his forever. After setting everything up right down to the candlelit dinner at his small apartment Dominik sent his owl with a letter for Rhyspa asking her to meet him for an early Christmas dinner. By now he was sweating bullets, hoping that this all went off without a hitch.

After finishing her hair, Rhyspa walked down to the fireplace and grabbed a fistfull of flu powder. Stepping into the emerald flame, she said the address of Dom's New Zealand apartment and moments later she was there. Walking into his small, but quaint living room, she adjusted her clothes and made sure she was presentable. This was their first real christmas and she wanted it to be perfect. Rhyspa had her present for him clutched in her hand.

"Hello?" Rhyspa called out. "Dom?"

Dominik's heart jumped up into her throat and he wiped the sweat from his brow. Taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm himself he walked out into the living room and his jaw dropped. Rhyspa was always beautiful, but today she looked absolutely stunning. "You look gorgeous," Dom said walking over to her and pulling her into a kiss.
