Sibhan Faulkner woke up with a large smile on her face. The sun shining through her curtains was just the icing on the cake and the brunette slid from her bed landing lightly on the floor. Spinning on her toes she danced over to her wardrobe and rifled through it looking for a bright outfit to match her mood. Slipping on her favourite sundress she drew a brush through her dark hair before slipping on some sandals and a beaded necklace and skipping out the door. Sliding down the banister of her brother's apartment stairs she grabbed and apple and headed out the door. Giggling she ran down the footpath leaping over the cracks, being careful not to step on any of them. It was a muggle game that kids played, 'if you touched a crack, you'd break your back' was how it went if she recalled correctly. Sibhan knew it was only a superstition and that it wasn't going to happen but she still dodged the cracks, arms outstretched to keep her balance. Spotting the park up ahead her grin widened, the park was the perfect place to spend such a lovely morning. Skipping into the park she twirled down to the edge of the duck pond and flopped down onto the grass.

Pulling her knees up to her chest Sibhan slipped off her sandals and tossed them carelessly aside before dipping her toes into the cool water, lazily drawing patterns sending ripples across the surface of the water. Taking a bite out of her apple she hummed meerily to herself as she chewed watching the sun glittering off the pond. The young women loved days like this when she could go out and just enjoy a great day. Taking another bite of her apple her eyes swept the park and she watched as children clambered over the playground laughing. She longed to join them, so standing she grabbed her sandals and headed towards the play equipment. Tossing the half eaten apple in the bin she dropped her sandals and clambered on to the top of a jungle gym. From this vantage point she could she the whole of the park spread out infront of her, giving her the chance to watch as people went by. Swinging her pale legs back and forth she hummed loudly, she was already having a fantastic day and she hoped it was only going to get better.

It was just that kind of day. The kind of day that William Kent yearned to wake up to every day. He smiled as he opened his eyes and felt the first rays of sun squeeze through his window. He loved mornings, he liked nights better, but he did love mornings. He sat up in his bed and made his way into the bathroom. He had to get ready to go out. He didn't like being stuck in the apartment, especially during a beautiful day like this one. He had to admitt, these past few weeks had been rather good to him. Whether he got work or not. Though he liked to do odd jobs, he knew that one of these days he was really going to have to buckle down and actually find something to do. He smiled at himself in the mirror and walked back out of the bathroom. He walked over to the wardrobe and riffled through all of his clothes, looking for something he would wear out. When he finally found the perfect outfit and brushed his hands through his hair. It was always such a mess. These days he only just shook his head and his hair fell into place. He laughed slightly at his reflection andwalked out of the bathroom, heading out the front door and grabbing an apple on his way out. His roommate was obviously still asleep, so he locked the door behind him. He looked around the street. The opposite side was mostly covered in houses and other house-like dwellings. Behind him was his own builidng that he lived in. It was an average sort fo building. That was okay. He touselled his hair and walked toward the park. He quite liked the park. He alwasy felt at home there. He laughed slightly as he looked at all the plants and trees. They looked almost magical with all the beauty around them. He wasn't entirely sure why he was feeling so good today, but he didn't care. Feeling good was a better part of living. It was these sort of days that he lived for. He nodded his head at his own thoughts and quickened his pace to get to the park quicker. It was about a fifteen minute walk, but it was a good excercising walk, which is one of the reasons why he actually liked to walk and not be running anywhere, or driving or apparating. It was nice to walk places anyway. He didn't need the exercise, but what the hell... Apparation tended to turn his stomach so he tried to avoid it where he could. Who cared anyway. He could do what he wanted an noone was going to tell him otherwise.

As he reached the park, Will's happines grew. It was a beautiful park. He liked coming to this park all the time. It was a favourite for his mates and himself. He lived with three other guys. Two of them were muggles, but it was completely fine because they both had muggleborn siblings and other members of the family were magical too. He shrugged and walked over to the pond that was near the centre. It was a beautiful pond and the ducks swimming around made Will feel funny. He laughed slightly before heading over to them and holding his hand out to one of them. It was nice to be able to be outside with the natural life. Instead of being stuck insdie with technology that went crazy everytime he cast a simple cleaning spell or something else. They always had to be in another room or the television went haywire. To be perfectly honest, it was quite funny, but that didn't mean he would like to send his roommates into a rage because he and Damon broke the entertainment system. Adrien and Tyler were the types of people to rage about almost anything. He moved away from the pond and looked toward the jungle gym. It was only at this point that he notcied a woman sitting at the top. He tilted his head slightly and stepped towards the jungle gym. He tossed his apple into the bin and clambered onto the bottom platform and smiled up at her. Shading his eyes from the sun. From here, the woman was quite attractive. "Hey beautiful, why are up there? Is the weather good?" He asked, his british accent thick with every word.

Sibhan swung her legs back and forward humming merrily as she did. She missed watching the world go by and she wished she had her guitar to strum on. She could have started to improvise a song from the beauty in front of her. But nevertheless she kept on humming swaying from side to side to the tune, If Domnech was here he would have scolded her for sitting atop of the jungle gym, he was always such a buzz kill. All he ever did was go on and on about being sensible and following the rules of society and not standing out, all the things that Sibhan herself hated doing. She wanted to stand out, she didn’t want to be boring and fit it. It wasn’t in her nature. Her mother had encouraged her ability to stand out from a crowd, it was her legacy. She always wore the brightest clothes and was the loudest; everyone had just accepted it, except Domnech. He was just far too sensible for his own good, he was never going to find himself a girlfriend unless her loosened up a bit and just relaxed. Though the Scottish girl wasn’t sure he wanted Domnech to date, not that she didn’t want him to be happy, she did, but she hated change. Pushing it to the back of her mind for the time being she focussed instead on the clouds passing by overhead trying to find shapes as the floated by. Whistling quietly she let her gaze blur completely lost in her own mind.

Starting with a small shriek Sibhan grabbed the bar of the jungle instinctively before she fell backwards. She had been too busy focussing on her song rather than the world around her and hadn’t seen the handsome stranger approach. Giggling the Scottish girl shrugged. “I don’t know, I don’t have anything to compare it to. What’s the weather like down there?” she responded her eyes twinkling in amusement. ”Don’t answer that I’ll check.” she added quickly grinning. Her hands gripping the bar she tucked her legs over her head Sibhan flipped upside down before turning up right and dropping to the ground in front of the stranger. Pulling herself up straight she swished her hair out of her face dramatically almost losing her balance as she stumbled sideways. Reaching out she grabbed his arm and steadied herself before she ended up on her butt. ”Sorry!” she laughed. Cocking her head to the side Sibhan looked at the boy a smile on her face, ”Hi! I’m Sibhan.” she said singing every word. She hoped he was going to be good company and not an old fuddy duddy like her brother. Gaze flicking over the strangers shoulder she almost let out a squeal of excitement. ”Swings!” she yelped ”Come on!” she grabbed his hand and pulled him after her as she skipped over to them. She had her fingers crossed that he was going to join her on the swings.

William almost died when the girl nearly fell off the jungle gym. Infact he was willing to literally leap up the few levels and grab the girl to ensure that she actually didn't fall. he couldn't, didn't want to even imagine the girl on the ground with her beautiful face all broken like that, or even various other parts of her body. What would he say to the doctors? Or to the Medics, her parents and siblings, her friends? Any onlookers in the park? he would feel terribly guilty knowing it was his fault that she was hurt. he didn't even know her, so it was a weird protective feeling. He knew that if he had a sister he would be just as protective of her as he would be of this girl. So he was definately releived when she was able to steady herself and not fall. He would have definately tried to catch her, of that there was no doubt in his mind. But he did doubt that he would have been very fast, so he would likely have missed her. Which was a pretty scary thought. However he chucked slightly after her rather interesting answer to his rather random question. Of course what else had he been expecting. She seemed like the type to want to have a lot of fun, all the time, almost a childish aspect infact. That was a trait that Will knew he could definately get to liking. He himself was rather childish at times anyway, seeing as he was an only child. Though he and his best mate Damon, tended to get into alot of trouble for various things, all the time.It was probably worse when they were at school, playing pranks on the Professors. It had been one long joke to them. Not saying that they didn't get anything good out of it, because they definately did, they loved it and only pranked when they were not on classes. They figured the Professor's were thankful for that atleast. Will was just about to answer the girl when she told him not to bother and procedded to drop down infront of him. he chuckled lightly but answered her anyway. "It is actually rather nice down here, I probably have no need of this jacket. But alas, I now have to wear it." He said before stifling his laughter. She was gorgeous and adorable, what more could a man ask for?

When she then apologised to him, Will shook his head and patted her arm, she had no need to apologise, if he had been about to fall over he was sure he would have tried to grab onto someone aswell to make sure he didn't. "No need to apologise, It's better then having to fall right?" He asked as she quickly jumped to another subject. Her name. Sibhan was a very different name to one he would have heard before. But being an english boy, he only ever head british names, such as William, Maurie, Damon, Kenneth. he rarely heard other names, though judging from her name and accent, she was likely to be Scottish, but ofcourse, he could have been wrong. He smiled again at the girl and introduced himself to her, curtesies required it. "That's a lovely, intereting name, I'm William, it's certainly a pleasure." He told her as he tipped his head to her slightly. However no sooner had he straighted, then had she suddenly spotted swings and taken off after them. Will blinked slightly, before allowing a smirk to creep onto his face. This one was definately a handful. He shook his head and turned to head after her. He definately wanted to know more about her, what she liked to be exact. "Someone's a bundle of energy this morning." he laughed as he caught up to her and looked over at the swings, "Want me to push you? Or join you?" He flirted as he held his heand to one of the swings. He used to love these when he was a kid, but hadn't really been back on one in a while. He wondered if this girl knew about magic. He doubted it but it was fun to wonder. "I used to love these as a kid. Haven't been on one in a while though." He added as an afterthought to give Sibhan abit of background on himself, hoping she would follow suite.
