Lucy was still flying high on the unbelievable success of her team in their first game of the year. The cup was in reach, after so many years of feeling as though she was letting the team down somehow, like she wasn't captaining well enough to guide them to victory. So many years of struggle, and now just maybe, it was all about to pay off. Lucy wanted to give her team the best chance possible, so she had called everyone down to the pitch to run some drills, just to keep their skills sharp during the study period.

Looking over her assembled teammates, Lucy greeted everyone with a bright smile. "Hey guys! Thanks for coming down. Our last match was so good, I really wanna keep that momentum going for the championship, so I thought it'd be fun to run some drills! I've set up a bit of an obstacle course around the pitch, that we can all use to work on our individual skills. There are hoops floating around the pitch to dodge and weave through, and I've set up a few practice dummies for the beaters to aim at. There's a practice snitch floating around for the seekers, and the chasers can either practice dodging through the hoops and passing, or take practice shots through the goal hoops, up to you!" Lucy grinned around at her assembled teammates cheerfully. "Alright, have fun!" She grinned before taking off herself, bat in hand.

OOCOut of Character:
This is a purely optional opportunity to get a bit of extra practice in, any Ravenclaw players who want to RP their characters practicing drills as described above are absolutely free to, but it's completely up to you!

Hinemoa was still buzzing off the high of her team winning their first game. Her first year playing Quidditch, and her team were finalists for the championship. Sure, she hadn't had any part of making that happen, but it was still exciting. At the same time, it only made her own performance sting all the more. She was supposed to be good at this, she was embarrassing her mum and Siobhan by messing up so badly. Determined to redeem herself, she had jumped at the chance to run a few extra drills with the team, taking off as soon as Lucy was finished and weaving her way through the hoops, looking round for the snitch as she did.

Lilith was still happy she'd managed to catch the snitch and win them the game, but she had also been rather sad lately after messing up her first and second tries with the mandrake leaf in her mouth. She'd messed up the first one at the Halloween feast and then continued right where she left off on the next full moon only to lose the battle yet again. It was frustrating so it was nice to focus on some extra practice for now. Looking for the snitch she tried to put all her thoughts on the task at hand.

Soaring into action Lucy headed towards one of the bludgers, weaving and ducking through the hoops, and did her best to fire the ball off towards one of the dummies, but to her disappointment her shot went wide.

Doing her best not to let disappointment get the best of her, Hinemoa focused all her attention on searching for the snitch, weaving through hoops as she looked.

Lili kept looking for the snitch in between of Faye's Swedish revision both efforts seemed to be quite fruitless for now though.....

Maggie was hopeful that the next game might be a little longer so she could show off her skills a bit more. The fifth year prepared herself for the practice today and went to hit one of the dummies as she came through a hoop, but the bludger missed.

Maggie made her way through some more hoops, catching the edge of one as she tried to hit another bluger and watched as it went far off her intended target.

Lucy ducked and wove through a few hoops, trying to get a bit of practice making sharp turns around obstacles before making her next attempt.

Hinemoa thought she caught a glimpse of gold and wove towards it, but it was just light reflecting off a hoop.

Lilith kept looking, trying not to think too much on all the leafy business she still had to endure.

Maggie took a breather from the obstacle course for a moment before getting back at it.

Lili weaved through some hoops trying to see if the snitch was anywhere behind the dummies.

Maggie started again through some hoops and had a chance to hit a bludger at one of the dummies. She took it and watched as it barely missed the thing.

Lili didn't have any success in finding the snitch behind the dummies.

Julio was eager to get in some extra practice. He swung his leg over his broom as he set off to look for the snitch.

Julio continued to circle around.

Lili stopped her search for a second and glanced around the pitch to see what else was happening.

Maggie continued swooping through the hoops, creating her own version of the obstacle course as she dodged things here and there.

Swerving out of the way of one of the dummies, Julio huffed, quickly righting himself on his broom. That could have been embarrassing.

Getting back to the search Lilith decided on a different route.

Julio flew in circles but didn't really see anything interesting.

The air was as empty as ever.

Taking to the other side of the obstacle course Lili began weaving through the hoops again in a different order.

Lilith kept looking but it wasn't like she was finding much of anything.
