A lot had changed between last year and this year, not the school years but between the holiday and the literal change of calendar year. There were many things that had left Lilith considering whether or not she wanted to stay home to help her mum out and look after her siblings, but she'd known the best thing she could do for herself and for them was to come here and focus on her studies. It was good too, to get back into the routine and focus on studying. It gave her some much needed normalcy amidst the chaos, but she still made sure to write back home whenever she could.

Walking down towards Professor Pirrip's office Lilith was feeling a bit dull, but she was sure her chat with the Professor would brighten her mood. After all it was one of the things she'd looked most forward to. To come back and get on with her Animagus training. The fourth year knew that the training alone would take a big toll on her emotionally and physically, which was what she'd been trying to prepare for since her last chat with the Professor and she trusted the man to be able to support her through the process. Taking a deep breath in Lili raised her fist and contemplated everything for a moment. The familiar buzz of excitement was still beneath her skin at the thought of learning more from the Professor and getting to train more in Transfiguration. Channeling every bit of that excitement Lilith lowered her hand on the wooden door and gave it a few polite knocks.

Teddy often hung around his dad’s office, fully aware he didn’t have much time left before graduation and he needed to take any and every opportunity to relax in the ridiculously comfortable armchair in his dads office. Today he was laid back in the chair and going over ideas for his Head Boy speech when a knock sounded at the door, definitely a student knocking he decided from the sound. Teddy called out to answer before his father could, “Cooooome in,” he said, dropping his voice to mimic his father’s although it didn’t take much effort to sound much different to him anymore. He smirked to himself, knowing that this was his cue to make himself scarce.

Edward's lips twitched when he heard his son’s imitation of him, it was better than he wanted to give him credit for. “Teddy,” he said mildly with a pointed look, “If you're planning to be the next Transfiguration professor, at least wait until I’ve retired. Until then, I’d appreciate being allowed to answer my own door thanks.” He told him, then stood up to open the door, allowing him to see his son out and greet the visitor simultaneously.
