Priyanka looked into the basket she was holding and looked inside and there were three more roses that still needed to be returned. She had searched everywhere in the tower block, both in the common room and in the school premises, so she had only one hope left that she would be found outside on this warm day. Then in the garden Priya noticed a familiar face. ''Hi, Lucy!'' she said, her gaze briefly turning to the basket whose rose was meant for the girl. ''I have a little surprise for you.'' her gaze back to the girl.

Lucy had been trying not to beat herself up about missing the signups to deliver roses, but she still felt pretty disappointed, watching other people spread love around the castle without her. She ignored the spike of guilt when she heard her own name, looking up with a smile. "Oh, thank you!"

Priyanka smiled at the girl, then pulled out a pink rose from the basket that was meant for her. As she reached in, Priya realized that there were only two roses left to deliver. She transferred the rose to her left hand, then handed Lucy her rose and a note. "Please, a rose and a note."
